Hi Brandon and Alyssa, I have been waiting for your next food adventure and I see that you’re in South Korea. Last time I watched your videos I think Alyssa was alone in Europe, maybe it was Poland, but I don’t remember. At that time Alyssa was in a European country with her girlfriends, going to a concert, I hope it wasn’t the Taylor Swift concert that was cancelled in Austria. Glad to see that you guys are back on the road. Looking forward to your new Footy adventures.
You seem to know where to go in Seoul. Somebody local must be helping you with your foodie research… Amazing and carefully curated selections… really enjoyed your Korean culinary adventure.
Thanks so much! We always try to ask the locals that we meet where they like to go eat, we do our best to avoid any tourist traps and we love spicy food so hot sauce can solve any problems. Thanks for watching and commenting🇰🇷❤️
@@HeresGoodTravel Korea is a highly competitive society. The same holds true for millions of mom and pop stores. They should innovative relentlessly JUST to survive… which is why I am learning eye popping new Korean foods from you.
Korea really was a great country to visit! We had a blast. Thank you for your kind comment, it means the world to us! We are getting ready to share some delicious food from our New York City trip, we hope you will join us for the adventure🤙
Only the best. This trip will forever live in our memory. However, we liked it so much we are going to go back and eat some more food that we missed on this trip!
Thanks so much! We love hitting the streets for some delicious grub! Thanks for watching and for leaving us this comment! We are off to go hit the Munich Christmas market as we speak!
Oh no so sorry! We had it correct in our notes but messed it up adding it to the pop up while editing. Please excuse us for our mistake, and thank you for letting us know
Brandon kept wanting to say “pan” because that’s how you say bread in Spanish! So many languages all with the same origin/sound. Thanks for watching and for the fun facts!
Hello your video is just awesome😍 If it is okay with you Can I introduce your videos as a shorts after Korean subtitled and upload my channel? Absolutely I will tag you on the videos. I think Korean really likes your impression for Korea. please feel free to let me know your thoughts.
After seeing a several years worth of vids from Korea and Japan, it seems that Japan is about 50% of the price of the US and Korea is about 75%. What is your take on the prices?
I kinda agree but when you consider no tipping in Asia it’s even more cheaper than US. Especially compared to big cities in US. Transportation is cheaper in Korea. Both train and Taxis
I the price in Japan and Korea are pretty much the same. We live in San Diego and were just in Hawaii and now we are in NYC. Hawaii prices are the highest, on par with Denmark, San Diego is actually more expensive than New York now! We are dreaming of a $8 Bowl of noodles right now without the tip!
enjoyed watching your videos and great to see you enjoy korea and korean food but you may want to check the korean words of the foods instead of calling them by their japanese names, just a thought.
Thank you, sorry, we are at the will of our google translate sometimes. We only know Spanish and English so forgive us if we misrepresented at times. The food we tried was amazing and we can’t wait to return and learn more about Korea!
Korea offers various full spectrum of different degrees of foods by region. To have a truly great full experiences, Even Japanese people travel to visit afar here just for great foods in Korea. I hope you guys travel Changwon, Jeolla province (known for foods) and other not so much beaten touristy places as well. Btw, Korea does not have street vendors other than especially Myeong Dong near Namdaemun tourist district. It is not legal nor correct country's representation.
We found that getting there and hotels were pretty expensive but there were good deals to be found if you know where to look. There are more expensive and less expensive places in Asia but the quality here is awesome
That's not original Ho-ddeok, you ate different type of baked crispy (aired inside) bread type of Ho-Ddeok Original Ho-ddeok is pan fried with margarine and it's not crispy at all just used brown sugar in it...
Thanks! This is actually a video from the previous year. You will still see some people masking but not nearly as much as then. We polled our viewers and they all wanted to see the Korea videos even though they were a little dated. Thanks for understanding

Two notorious places you need to avoid to buy food from - 1. street food in MyeongDong (명동) 2. Gwangjang Market (광장시장) - for 1. bad hygiene 2. bad quality 3. bad price Local people never try these places so called "foreigner shithole"... feel very sorry for visitors from outside Korea. I recommend all other traditional markets such as Mangwon Market (망원사장), most indoor restaurants (make sure people eating in there) along back alleys, Food court of major Department Stores like Lotte near MyeongDong, Try where local Koreans go. ENJOY YOUR STAY!!!
Wow, thanks so much for the tips! We will definitely check out Mangwon Market! This is the reason that we didn’t try very much food in that area. Also we work very hard for our money and we try not to spend it at places that over charge and under deliver. Thanks a million for the recommendations. We will be sure to hit a local food market like this and do an entire video next visit!❤️

Love watching your “foodie” excursions
Thanks! Food is our love language!
fun fact: pang (bread) is actually 'pain' french word for bread.
just asian accent makes it sound like pang/bbang
빵 is originated from Japanese adoption of Portuguese word "pão". Portugal is the first European country to trade with Japan.
