She was permenently disabled as a result. He was given a life tarriff in Feb 2003 after being extradited from Dublin |Ireland where he ran to avoid answering for the charges.

I remember watching this as a kid on tv and thinking "The world can be a terrrible place sometimes". He is evil, and evil will never change their ways. Hope the women are okay and doing well in their lives i wish them all the very best.

Where I grew up (Germany/80s), monthly girls were raped when hitchhiking back home from a disco visit. There were serial rapist on the hunt (Cuxhaven/Görenmorde/Favoriten Discomorde). I may be wrong, but this happend anymore that often fortunately.

So he was actually jailed again for running over a woman who rejected his advances and got a life sentence in 2003 with a minimum 7 years.

Lenient sentence and he went on to attack again. Should have been a 25 yr sentence followed by the strictest monitoring conditions imaginable.
