As a social worker you have an obligation to turn someone in if they have committed a crime. They are mandated reporters.

As a social worker, I hope you understand that some victims are too scared to come forward through no fault of their own. It takes huge mental fortitude to do that.maybe you should do some extra ‘training’ or something….. in empathy.

Ran away to Uxbridge to his mums house with the ex and she duly left him. He persecuted women who resembled her. Local rumours say he has raped at least 3 women who looked similar to her.

I think he was a very dangerous man because he might have had a human side but he knew it was a way to gain pity after he'd done terrible things in quite a cruel and calculated way. That strikes me as a tool he learnt in the system from a young age after going through his own set of traumas: do something bad, own up to it and talk a bit about your past, then people will go easy on you and you'll get the kindness you craved. All the "oh I didn't remember raping her" was part of that act to make himself seem somehow not responsible. Mind you, I agree that it seems if he'd had a better life he wouldn't have gone on to do that.

Yes, Anthony D. Snow. He went on to go to trial for another rape of a teen after his release. His writing was not about remorse. It was about trying to control their emotions. Talk about a miscarriage of justice in the trial. I pray for peace and healing for all his victims.

The understanding police woman is easy meat for him to tell her any old thing to engage her sympathy….and social workers and probation officers have to report any crime they discover to the police…so that reluctance is just for effect…the BBC should not portray social workers in such a negative light…it doesn’t help.

Everyone tried their best. I’m sure the damage never leaves anyone. Even cops some cases stay with them. Police are underpaid for the risk and stress they endure

His letters to the victims where all scripted by his lawyers to show remorse for parole. What he did was rape & attempted murder & he shud rot in jail ! He gets out in 10 & it's ladies beware ! He admitted to sniffing glue & as many perpetrators fall onto is the whole blackout thing so they can't be held liable for crimes committed in dat state which to me is total b.s !
