Colin Pitchfork was arrested and recalled to prison in November last year. He was caught breaching the terms of his licence, apparently by speaking to young girls. I was comforted that the authorities were clearly keeping a very close eye on the bastard. I expect he'll find parole hard to get from now on.

Yes, I'm grateful they were too. I agree I don't believe he'll get another chance. If the rules obligate us to release these men (mostly) they must be ready to do the same excellent job these people did, and make sure they aren't able to harm someone again. We've learned they aren't reformable.

@@ajs41 They actually have people whose job is to watch these guys when they get out, so I don't believe there was a big added cost just for him. Maybe a little overtime if anything. I think the sentencing guidelines are a joke, men like this should never be free. If life actually meant life, I'd bet the violent crime rate would drop.

I've read he had quite a bit of support. With? Only took him two months to show his lack of ability to follow the rules after decades in prison. Has anyone considered he might think the gratification he'd get raping andi murdering a girl worth going back to prison?

The man who took the test was clueless, I think he's long since paid for his mistake, he really didn't know, but it was the blood test that caught him. The Detective was spot on. This documentary is a prime example of a video where the soundtrack is more important than the subject. Did the composer do the editing?
