Hey yogis, welcome to my channel! This week's video is a quick 10 minute morning yoga full body stretch that you can do when you're short on time but want a great full body stretch. We'll explore some fun poses to get you out of your comfort zone and play with balance.
This sequence will relieve aches, pains and stiffness that are so common in the morning. No props needed!
If you have flexibility goals, this is a great class to do on a regular basis to improve hip and hamstring mobility as well as deeper backbends and shoulder flexibility.

Thank you for being an amazing teacher! I have tried many times to find a morning routine to get some movement into my life but never really stuck to anything because I never found a teacher that matched Me and my sometimes lazy morning motivation. Since I found your channel I am looking forward to each morning exercise and it even motivates me to do some more after a morning stretch with you so just wanted to say THANKS TO YOU I already feel much more flexible, healthy and start the day more at ease with myself. :)
My word was calm, as I need to feel calm amid all of the chaos around me at the moment.

I intentionally decided to do the morning routine, and would also like the rest of the day to be filled with intentional choices, rather than mindlessness or automated responses to various stimuli :)

“Enough” - I often set very high expectations for myself so I’d like to feel that today, even if I’m not the most productive, I am enough.

When you let go of control you get it. An analogy could be if you hold on to your breath you can’t breath, but letting it go it comes right back.

Wellbeing
My word is Protection. I'm going to guard my being in everything I do today. Work, dinner and karaoke with friends, in bed at a decent hour. All the decisions will be about taking care of myself.
My word is “Freedom”
I want to focus on my freedom to let go of the expectations I was raised with to take care of everybody else & instead to prioritize myself today.

"Energetic" was my word. I'm a professor and teach a lecture this evening. With the pandemic, there's been a noticeable shift to low energy and motivation for my students, and I hope to provide enough positivity and energy to get us all through these last three weeks of the semester.

"Motivated" - struggling lately, but so much to do, so much to achieve.

Consistent - Its easy to be focused for today but it takes more efforts to us to be consistent. What we need is consistency and awareness of time that we have !!!

Kindness. I've been beating myself up last 24 hours and I need to remember to be kind to myself.

My word of the day is "art"! Making art has always been the thing that keeps me connected to myself, much like yoga, and as I've been making more time for it recently I've noticed the ripple effect it has on the rest of my day. As Helena Bonham Carter said:
“I think everything in life is art. What you do. How you dress. The way you love someone, and how you talk. Your smile and your personality. What you believe in, and all your dreams. The way you drink your tea. How you decorate your home. Or party. Your grocery list. The food you make. How your writing looks. And the way you feel. Life is art.”
So my intention for the day is to create art, see everything as art and treat everything as art - starting with this stretch :) Thank you for sharing it and helping me get clear on my intentions today, both physically and mentally! 🙏🏼✨
"Kindness"- I've been through tough times and found that I've lost my unconditional kindness for everyone, including myself and I want to bring that part of me back
My word for the day is “Joyful” because it’s going to be a busy day and I need to remember to enjoy it. I really liked that this morning yoga required a little more balance because I’m not quite there and I like a bit of a challenge!

"Complete" - want to make sure I finish what I need to do today and feel complete and productive.

kindness - being kind to others, the environment, and myself (especially myself)
The word “love” came to me right away as you said choose a word.
Today it is important for me to practice love within myself and towards others, especially with the tensions of being in quarantine. My patience for others has been thin and I’ve been very judgemental. So today I will focus on sending love to those areas of myself that are currently feeling frustrated.
