I can say for certain that Mikkey has breathed new life into every project he's entered, the latest proof of that being the Scorps. They were ready to retire in 2015. Now, they're having more fun than ever and saying "we'll see what happens." Their concerts are more explosive than ever before, probably even more than when Rarebell was behind the kit.
How those drum heads don't explode from his power playing I'll never know! Most importantly he doesn't lose technique from his power-hitting! Amazing drummer my favourite with Charlie Benante and Dave Lombardo!
I've seen a lot of drummers in all my years of living on this planet and I rank him in the top he is one of the best performers and great a guy with good attitude.🤘
Just saw him on AXIS on the "Clean Your Clock" tour and he was jamming. I said; who the heck is this guy. I know talent when I see and hear it and this dude was (is) a powerhouse. Very powerful drummer and had a very cool double bass shuffle going on in the first song. He rocks!

Mikkey was really under the weather, Lemmy said to the crowd that Mikkey had a 100 degree fever and basically felt like crap. You could never tell it by the way he played, he still smoked the kit and kicked ass for the whole set. The consummate professional. Keep rockin' bro, you're awesome.

Here is something that blew me away. Ball of Fire a 1941 film.Drummer and bandleader Gene Krupa performed the song onscreen with his band. In an unusual twist, he also played it on a matchbox with matches for drumsticks. Some of the style that Mikkey Dee is the same as Gene Krupa.
I've actually decided to learn alot of this gentleman's drum grooves and fills and man been applying them to the judas priest and metallica and the other plethora of material and man, it's really added more joy to what I've been playing. Honestly I'd love to see Mikkey tackle some Metallica material. It probably be way to easy for him live but I'd be okay with it just for one set
