"Lean on Me", "Use Me", "Just the Two of Us", "Lovely Day". (Sorry; I just know his hits, but they're all terrific.) The Rolling Stones took their band's name from a line in a Muddy Waters' song, who was one of their blues idols.

( was 17 years old when this song was released, in 1971. It soared on the radio and was played a million times....and that wasn't enough. Such a simple masterpiece and the emotion to pull you in. I live about 100 miles from Seattle and in 2017 my sister and I decided, at the last minute, to drive down to Salem, Oregon to view the total eclipse. We arrived in Salem at about 3 am, pulled into a Walmart parking lot and slept it her car. We woke up at sunrise and turned on the radio after grabbing some breakfast at McDonalds. The DJ said that they would be playing eclipse related songs all morning until the eclipse concluded, before noon. The first song he played was "Ain't No Sunshine" by Bill Withers. We were tired and could not stop laughing at how apropos this selection was. The eclipse was awesome and this is a wonderful part of our experience. Check out his catalog for the other gems that it contains. Wonderful reaction guys.

I worked with my stores night stocking crew. This song was playing on the PA system. One of the crew was walking past when the "I know" repeat was on. He pointed up and said. "22". I looked at him confused. Later he came past me again and said. "He says I know 22 times." Then added. "This song plays every night."

Such a great R&B soul singer songwriter from the 60's-80's. "Ain't No Sunshine" & "Lean On Me" are his 2 most famous songs but he had some other great hits such as "Grandma's Hands", "Use Me", "Lovely Day" & "Just The Two Of Us". Sadly we lost him recently in 2020. But he left a great legacy of music.

I would suggest "Who is He (And What Is He to You)" for the best use of the word Dadgummit. And since we are in the general neighborhood of 70's blues/soul, I would throw in "You Need Love Like I Do (Don't You)" by Gladys Knight and the Pips. It is not the sweet ballad that she is primarily known for. It stomps.

A rolling stone is a person whose life is unstable. A person who has not set up roots anywhere. They are just drifting here and there.
There’s an old saying “a Rolling Stone gathers no moss“. Moss doesn’t grow on a moving surface like a person who is constantly on the move doesn’t establish any roots or bonds.

Hello Ryan, Nick & Ty, I'm so glad you all enjoyed Bill Withers, he's an incredible storyteller and gifted musician. Since you enjoy his work, I thought I'd suggest another one of his songs. I believe this song is considered one of his "deep cuts." "Bill Withers - Grandma's Hands (BBC In Concert May 11, 1974)" (by the channel: Bill Withers) and I thought I'd suggest a new artist to give a listen, if interested. "Al Green - For the Good Times (Official Lyric Video)' (by the channel: Al Green) --Al Green is an American singer/songwriter, Pastor and record producer. He's known for his charismatic performances and incredible vocal range. He had several big hits throughout the 60's and 70's. It's great seeing the three of you back together doing reactions again. 💯🧔🏽‍♂🧔‍♂🧔🎶
And as always, I enjoyed rocking with you guys, Thanks for sharing. peace out~

I realize some videos might be difficult to get up on the channel but one that might not be a problem is his live performance of his song "A Different Corner" from the BBC Parkinson Show. If you watch this and don't come away appreciated the perfection of his voice, I will never request him again. Not enough people react to his music and I think it is a terrible mistake. Thanks.
