The closest I’ve ever come to falling for a trend bag is my burning desire for the Fendigraphy. I LOVE that bag, couldn’t possibly care less about its longevity, value retention, or the fact that I can never keep a shoulder bag on said shoulder. But it does fall within my aesthetic in an odd way, which is more Phoebe Philo Celine and classic Chanel than anything else. The beauty of getting older is you realize you only need to please yourself, so buy what you love! 💕

Staying away from bright colors - unless I specifically like the color - has helped me make better purchases. And St Laurent bags are my dream, timeless/ classic bags! They’re just so lux - like a more practical Hermes or Chanel honestly in my very humble opinion. It’s fun to see other peoples excitement for Hermes but my favorite style has been (and will always be) Ashley Olsen and her beat up Kelly bag - honestly amazing

It's also best to really be honest with yourself and know your style. Zara is for experiments with colour and style, not Versace right. If in doubt go high street and see how it goes. I may fall into the fendigraphy trend at some point. But I’m currently saving for a 2 bags I want more. The thing about that bag is that it’s a pretty classic shape, just with giant fendi on it. Also I’m trying to figure out my work from home style that’s not constantly just activewear. Not sure it fits. So if it’s still around maybe it’ll fit into my actual wardrobe. Plus there’s a mini version that might work better.
I feel like the La Cagole hits the early Bal vibe but in the best way possible (shape, functionality, leather quality) - the hourglass is not very 'iconic'. I am all about the plain and simple bags but there is something about La Cagole... similar to Dior Saddle, I feel.

Going off of Darrel Suarez, maybe it could be a “Chopped style” Challenge. You and another RUclipsr trade items, you don’t know what they are until you open the package etc., maybe the item is outside your comfort zone or you might not be sure how to style (this could even be a piece your thinking about selling or even buying). You could do a closet favorites video a la your mom and Nii with Alyssa or other RUclipsrs and then challenge each other to style those pieces how you would wear them.
For me le cagole is me in a bag, i bought it before the start of the year so before people like kim and other celeb started rocking theirs. And i bought it in the small size so its not toy size, i can literally did a water bottle , my wallet, phone and some other random stuff in it; PERFECT

When it comes to neutrals for bags I like black and caramel colors but not so much white….because I am afraid of white bags even though it is a neutral. It can be the right style but the wrong color. I hear you Cassie, your Versace shoes are 🔥 to me baggy high waisted jeans and cropped tops always in style 😜 oh and also bottega square toes sandals 🤪😜😝😂🤣 they are comfortable. I cant wear those pointy shoes. I found in my size jimmy choo sling backs, last year, well i ordered them at the end of 2020, supposed to come in a few months, it took over 6 months 😳🤪 and i wore them once. My toes were crying 😂😂😂 I feel so discriminated, why designers dont make tts 11,5-12 😂😂😂 maybe i need to make campaign😳😂🤣 well plus sizes ladies did , years ago, and now more and more designers make bigger sizes. I may fall into the fendigraphy trend at some point. But I’m currently saving for a 2 bags I want more. The thing about that bag is that it’s a pretty classic shape, just with giant fendi on it. Also I’m trying to figure out my work from home style that’s not constantly just activewear. Not sure it fits. So if it’s still around maybe it’ll fit into my actual wardrobe. Plus there’s a mini version that might work better.
It’s not going anywhere for a while so definitely have a think about it and try it on in person if you can! 💖

I feel like the La Cagole hits the early Bal vibe but in the best way possible (shape, functionality, leather quality) - the hourglass is not very 'iconic'. I am all about the plain and simple bags but there is something about La Cagole... similar to Dior Saddle, I feel.

Going off of Darrel Suarez, maybe it could be a “Chopped style” Challenge. You and another RUclipsr trade items, you don’t know what they are until you open the package etc., maybe the item is outside your comfort zone or you might not be sure how to style (this could even be a piece your thinking about selling or even buying). You could do a closet favorites video a la your mom and Nii with Alyssa or other RUclipsrs and then challenge each other to style those pieces how you would wear them.
