I love learning about fashion history, so thank you for putting in the time to let us know some interesting new info. Some of my favorites that you mentioned was Lanvin signature Blue color and the meaning of their logo. Also, a huge thank God for Roberto Cavalli for giving us stretch in jeans!!!

The Antigona is absolutely my icon bag. I have been loving what Michael Williams has been doing as the new creative director. Including evolving the antigona style to do away with (on some lines) the zip top and even lengthening the handles for a shoulder bag option. I love a brand that knows how to stick to the classics, but reinvent them as time passes.

This was the perfect mix of those seeking trends and those seeking history and pieces for a lifetime. I would love a video on the changes in these brands. Talking about Cavalli - patch work furs, patch work jeans, the whole boho aesthetic, a lot of things were introduced to the global stage by this brand. Think of Cavalli as a 70s over the top kitsch aesthetic, ranging from hippies to the disco kings and queens and pimps, but done well and very pricey. Looks amazing on anyone with pigment. Same as Versace.

It had to be Alaia for me! Was invited to Paris in March for a private party with the creative director Pieter Mulier and Amina Muaddi. We toured the little but well stocked Alaia museum, which I can totally recommend for fans of the brand.
The ultimate muse of Azzedine Alaia, Naomi Cambell canceled last minute bc her child got sick. Azzedine was a maestro in so many ways and a trailblazer to the diversity we now see on the runway! Those clothes are iconic and the fit is something else!

I really enjoyed this video; the info about these brands were very interesting and such fun to learn actually. So thank you for that Cassie ;) I am a Roberto Cavalli fan, so thanx again for including this brand, not many people talk about it.

Loving this type of vlog. I also love Luke Maher for the history of fashion. Thanks so much. And had no idea about Cavalli. What a sodding godsend is the stretch jean.

I've learnt about quite a few fashion houses just based on the luxury retail experience I had from when I was 18-23. They used to pump the knowledge into us as we were brand ambassadors of sorts, so I sort of hated it for a bit but this video reminded me how fun it is to learn about this stuff again outside of needing to know for work purposes hahahaha
