Thank you! Finally an influencer who is willing to give an honest review of the Hermès blanket. Most influencers purchase this blanket on their journey for a quota bag and rave about the aesthetics, but shy away from providing honest reviews of the functionality and quality of the item.
It's so hard to clean, it's high maintenance and my threading has gone within a year! I give her a bath every two months and she takes about 3-4 days to dry. It is really warm and stays soft as even when washed but I feel like it takes a week to fully clean to bed and is a task - cleaning the oven is easier
Soooo about the Hermes blanket, I think it’s worth it to mention: if you’re willing to REALLY shell out, the 100% cashmere ones seem to be of better quality. I have seen one lying around a family friend’s house for months, and their kids play with it 😧 but it still looks to be in very good condition! Otherwise, if you don’t need the H, Johnstons of Elgin have beautiful cashmere throws for a fraction of the price (and they go on sale too!)
You should make a look book with every outfit you have worn this year. It would be so fun! Not sure if it should be a RUclips video or maybe on Instagram or Pinterest.

I loved the list, and how even though you still love the ‘worst’ purchases, it’s okay to admit that they didn’t work out the way you’d have hoped. For me, my best of 2022 were the Prada re-edition with crystals, the FF mesh body suit, and the Cleo boots 😍😍 My worst was probably the Fendace match sneakers in white. I wanted a piece from the collab so bad, and I really loved how comfy the sneakers were, but they’re almost too comfy/casual? And for something to be THAT casual whilst also being made of suede and silk, it makes the choice to wear them that much more difficult. Live and learn! Those Frame cargo pants are definitely on my list now though 😅

Cassie try taking the Fendi heels to a cobbler to put a rubber sole onto them. This would improve the shock absorption. I do them to quieten down shoes that makes to much noise 😅. Hope it helps. Love your videos ❤❤❤

I saw a Hermes winter scarf last month that is the twin for your blanket. It looked effortless chic-and pristine-on the wearer in a way I could never pull off, but I did try to track it down anyway. Such a shame your blanket pills because it looks super comfy.
So shocked with the Hermes blanket issues 😳 I love how it looks but considering it works as a display item only, I won’t invest in one, I am wondering though if that’s the case for pillows too? This year was pretty much a start of my luxury journey 😍 My best purchases were definitely Prada loafers - price per wear must be just some pennies, Cartier just en clou small bracelet, Hermes 2 side belt and Fendi mini peekaboo. I didn’t have any bad ones, but looking and my hourglass bag after recent scandals makes me sad 😩
I also am able to wear tall heels way longer when the heel is balanced under the middle of the heel of my foot like the Renee’s you are showing are appearing to be. it adds hours more time i can walk it’s really amazing. also the lack of platform allows the knee joint to work in a more natural range of motion than a platform. i realized this when i wore jimmy choos the first time!
I followed your advice and got all purchases you showed as your best in this video. And I am happy I did. The only purchase I got which featured on the worst purchase list are the tango boots. And I am happy I bought those. I bought the original tangos also in black but all in all I find the boots more comfy. I have worn the boots many times and the platform shoes ONLY once! I love these videos! Versatile pieces make so much sense the older you get, especially black tops I've done that this year too! The best thing I've done this year when it comes to making purchases is trying on a top, jacket, shoes or whatever it is in 3 different sizes before buying and finding my best fit. As women our size ranges all over and I've felt pressure to go with "my usual size" and I've found my best fitting pieces this year this way! Some items look better more fitted and others slightly oversized and not settling on making something work even if it's uncomfortable bc if it's uncomfortable I won't wear it.

I use my Hermes blanket everyday and haven’t had issues with it. But I also bought it because I WFH and am always cold so I only use it as a blanket. If I am not using it it’s in a cabinet because the cat is obsessed with it 🤣 so it’s never been a design piece. I am not cool enough for that 🤪

Summer - Winter! Christ aye. It went from 25 degrees to 5. Taps aff in prospect park to feeling facially frozen in days.

I use my Hermes blanket everyday and haven’t had issues with it. But I also bought it because I WFH and am always cold so I only use it as a blanket. If I am not using it it’s in a cabinet because the cat is obsessed with it 🤣 so it’s never been a design piece. I am not cool enough for that 🤪
