LVMH has severely changed! They want to buy them for products/brand name and not for their staff. They'll most likely replace them with machines so everything falls under quantity with the hermes price tag.
For a multibillion dollar company, they still feel like a small business in their atelier.

There are quite a few videos of the Dior Atelier, I love them all. I could watch those artisans all day.

Even with luxury, you rarely see workshop as authentic and genuine as Hermes. Most of these luxury brands that are made in Italy, France, the US, usually use immigrants and etc

Regardless of the *esluxscom* bag or any other factors, I ardently hold that without proper expertise, one would fail to distinguish variations in the sack's appearance or metal parts.

Never say never. When I was in my early twenties, I dreamt of owning a Birkin or a Kelly. Now, I have several of them. They are truly amazing bags. Watching this video makes me appreciate them more.

You have to realise it’s ultimately a bag. There are amazing leather artists out there that put even more effort into making a bag but don’t get enough recognition. Support those artists instead if you can’t afford Hermès, which is an even better outcome.

In reality what we’re watching is how they come up with designs or their creative process so basically R&D, but when it comes to actual manufacturing the bags that is done in a factory and now Hermes bags are half handstitched half machine stitched. It’s funny how they’ve created this PR machine to create a fantasy as if they’re still sewing all these bags by hand when an actuality, they are not.
for the Birkin and Kelly they are 100% hand made... I also think that the Constance bag is 100% hand made too .-. the other models I think its half/half

@@pedroauter2759It is impossible. You may argue that they are 100 percent hand stitched. But they are not 100 percent hand-made. The silver/gold ware are not hand made. The leather is not hand cut or hand dyed. And the patterns of the bags are all pre-designed and made. There is no way in this day and age, a company can function on 100 percent handmade mass production. No matter how rare birkins are, they are still produced more than tens and thousands of pieces a year. In that amount, it is impossible to be 100 percent handmade.

Amazing video highlighting the truly special aspects of Hermes being the size they are yet still sticking with many time-honored craftsmanship techniques. I am not sure if a video with this tone was done before but this is perfect for today where consumers appreciate to see the people behind the gigantic logos and corporate facade. And as Hermes has a very unique approach to be proud of, making videos like this would be very helpful for more of us to understand why they are different then other luxury labels and appreciate it. I would still appreciate a more straight forward purchase experience though. Overplaying the hard-to-get mind games in the sales side still doesn't sit well with me.
