Making Hermes alligator bespoke wallet that beat the $5,000 Hermes wallet

"8cc Bi-fold Wallet Alligator version"
*Note: We will not reveal all of the technical things to craft this specific SLG. Please don't ask about the things we've not specified in these videos.
Do not copy any of the designs of the Atelier SANG BLEU, all rights are reserved to the Atelier SANG BLEU.
This artwork was a bespoke order from one of my customers.
Made out of Special type Chevre & HCP(TCIM) Alligator leather and the Initial stamp + renewal design stamping option was added.
All the leathers used and the way of making this luxurious leatherwork are the same as the French luxury leather brands.
No cheap fabrics were used and no bare flesh sides have remained on the backside. All of the parts are fully leather-lined and it is not an easy process to achieve the slim linear thickness between several layers of leather. This is one of the reasons that French luxury leather goods are expensive.

That skiving knife cover is gorgeous.
Also I commend you for not punching all the way through with the iron and awling each hole. Despite each edge probably being thin enough to punch through, without making too big of a hole. Well done.
Thank you for the recommendation! But those kinds of irons don't have tapered blades, so I can punch all the way through without widening the holes. But, as you recommended, I used to use the awls when I'm stitching thick parts 😉

What do you use on your acrylic template to have the leather stick to it? Does it work with veg tan leathers? Thanks! Beautiful work!
Just a normal double sided tapes, you should test it if you can use it on your leather articles.

왁스를 먹인다 하여도 색상이 들어가지 않기 때문에 컬러는 원래의 리넨사 컬러 그대로입니다
혹시 영상속의 화이트밸런스가 변화되거나 하는 부분 때문에 컬러가 다르게 보인다는 말씀이셨다면 그러한 컬러의 리넨사를 사용해야 합니다:)

The goatskin in this kind of wallet is typically 0.5mm for the interior. There are lots of options where you can buy this high end quality of Chèvre Sully where they split the leather for free.

absolutely exquisite work. Bespoke is by far the way to go if you are spending the high dollar amount demanded by luxury brands already. I LOVE the alligator and would love to have a leather piece with an open umbilical scar. I understand it is considered a fault on the leather but I think it would lend some character to what it's made with

Hmm,,, if the open umbilical scar you mean is the genital part of the alligator/crocodile, we don't use them because of the fragile end scale around the open hole.

I made this wallet out of ALL crocodile, ie a Sepik River crocodile…it turned out beautiful. I wonder if the entire thing is croc if it’s worth more?
I think the entire interior in exotics is not the aspect that makes the value of the final artwork higher than the normal interior.
Exotics are pretty delicate to use and that makes it poor practicality for the huge capacity wallets like 8cc bifold design.
That is the reason why we don't offer an exotic interior for the bifolds.
This is Fabulous, your skill your expertise everything was amazing. I watch this with calm and hope someday you will made something from best exotic in the world “Himalayan alligator ”. I’m waiting for that day.

how big is the wallet? Looks quite large compared to a regular bifold
W10.8 x H9 cm which is smaller than regular bifolds. I've designed it as compact as possible with 8cc capacity😉
I was wondering why the stitching was white (silver), but you changed it to black and it looked so much more luxurious. 😍
That was just my mistake but, Yes it looked so harmonious with the black stitches after revising👍🏻😉

Just want to know, does alligator belly leather have smaller scales than crocodile belly leather ? which one has smaller scales ?
They all are different from each other and we cannot know which one always be the smaller one than the other.
They just have different scale patterns.

As we understand that this beautiful animal was sacrificed from the tanneries and farms, we always feel sorry for that and what we do is just turn their legacies into an art.
