    What if I have individual images for each page…they aren’t set up as a two-page spread.
    Do I have to combine them into a two-page spread first? Or is there a way to export all my images as individual pages and THEN format it into a book format? Thank you

    • @mirkakim7991
      @mirkakim7991 8 месяцев назад

      you can export them into individual pages and then in pdf viewer change the view setting to side by side.

    Hi, I would like to do the opposite. I bought an illustration bundle off Creative Market, but it is in pdf. How do I put that into Procreate please?

    • @MirkaHokkanen
      @MirkaHokkanen  4 года назад +3

      christina wedow I dont know how to do that. I assume that the illustration bundle also comes as separate illustrations in a folder and the PDF was just a way to view whats in the bundle.

    Thanks for the helpful video! When you export it to PDF does the find functionality still work on the PDF? For example, to search for a word in the design? Or does it just turn it all to an image?

    • @MirkaHokkanen
      @MirkaHokkanen  4 года назад +1

      I dont know. I haven’t tried it. I think it would still see it as text, as long as you didnt rasterize text layers before saving.

    HI MIRKA. I made a calligraphy portrait in procreate. I followed all the steps : saved it in PDF, sent it to the printer to print it on a t shirt. surprise the printer keep only having the jpg format. we are getting crazy please your help. thanks

    • @MirkaHokkanen
      @MirkaHokkanen  Год назад

      The directions on the video are for saving pdf not jpg. If you want to send or save as a jpg, then you select that option from the menu instead of pdf and then export.

    I have 30 illustrations that I want to email to myself from Procreate, but it won't let me. I guess, it only allows a certain amount??? Any advice?

    • @MirkaHokkanen
      @MirkaHokkanen  Год назад

      They are too big file size to email as jpgs. I upload them into my google drive and then download from there to my computer. Or if you use some other storage site like cloud or Dropbox, you could use them too

    Thank you. But how do we stack our images and make an animation from it

    • @MirkaHokkanen
      @MirkaHokkanen  3 года назад

      You would do that with the layers inside of the file, but thats a whole another tutorial. There are lots if you search “Procreate animation tutorial” on youtube.

    • @MirkaHokkanen
      @MirkaHokkanen  2 года назад +1

      I just sent a full book dummy yesterday at the medium setting and it was under 8mb file size. I guess it would depend on who and what for you are sending dummies for.

    I want to make 44 pages comic book..,can I do that as well, ? Because I want to save this as a pdf file for kindle direct publishing.

    • @MirkaHokkanen
      @MirkaHokkanen  3 года назад

      Yes, you should be able to do it. I dont know about quality for kindle publishing for that many pages. If you have 44 images already there, you could try to make a pdf from those and see what resolution it ends up being if you select the high option when clicking through.

    do we need to flatten the file before transfer it to PDF?

  • @tamarlempert9387

    Thank you! This is an awesome video that simplified this confusing workflow for me, thank you so much! I have one question, if my drawings are on separate pages (and not on spreads) when selecting the pages to create the new PDF file do the margin & bleed remain so the printing agency use this file to cut the artwork accordingly or is another technique required for printing? Appreciate your feedback :) Thank you!

    • @MirkaHokkanen
      @MirkaHokkanen  2 года назад

      Procreate basically treats the pages as image files, so it will not be able to distinguish crop marks and bleeds. So what ever size your canvas is, thats what procreate will save it out as. So you want to communicate with your printer about what size your files need to be and then set your canvas to those specifications
