- Oh My Goodness - This was meant to be posted last weekend and I thought it was! Apologies for that little mishap
This is a short video especially for any of my silver sisters who have just embarked on their journey or are in the early stages. You will get a chance to see what my month by month transition has looked like, from beginning to the present day. I am hoping this will give some of you the insight of what this journey brings, it really goes to show that all transitions can be very different, I definitely thought I would have a lot more grey than I do have ! I told my partner I d like to transition he said stay brown and my hair dresser said no i don't have enough grey yet
Your hair looks amazing, and striking against the darker strands and your lovely complexion. I'm 45, had grey hair since 20, been colouring ever since. Just after I had my last colour done, 20th of July, I decided enough is enough and currently going through the transition (cold turkey). Now 6 weeks into it and I'm actually looking forward to seeing what my natural hair looks like, for the first time, in 25 years!

Love your encouraging words. I have been on this journey since March 2020. And I can’t tell you how many ppl say it looks so pretty. But one person my hair dresser continues to tell me I would look younger with color!! But I am not buying into that. Sticking to the grey. I am just tired of the salon visits. Hair cuts i am good with. But if I get color what I will look younger for 1 week??!! Bc my grey pops out in a matter of one week then I will look older again! Lol. Too funny. I am sticking to my grey. Have a great day. And thank you for your channel.

I'm turning 40 in May next year and I've decided I'm going to stop colouring my hair. I've been colouring for 20 years just for fun. But now that I'm going a bit gray, I want to embrace the wisdom showing through my hair. 😂

Beautiful. I have been dye free for over one year now. I’m not as grey as some. I have very dark hair and the grays are more highlights throughout. No line of demarcation, which is nice. I dislike the colored ends of my hair (which was simply henna coloring my greys), but I don’t want to cut my hair too short and I’m afraid to try removing henna or coloring over it. So I’m living with it for now.

I have an indian hair case , she’s been dying her hair box dye level 1-3=L1 anyways. And wants to transition to grey , every week she paint her hairline herself. So I suggested to start with a good 5 inches off. As her length is to her waist. So now I know how to talk to her thanks to your clips. When you tell them the truth they may not believe you that’s a long journey either go cold turkey, shave it or keep on spending money /time and stick to a committed agreement.. otherwise I won’t even start , yes I told her that. However will do a strand test then I can show her what’s posible and what’s not so take it or leave it. Thanks

What color will go with gray hair best
For me personally I think blue, green and grey look amazing. For me personally the only colour I find I dont like wearing so much now is pink. However everyone is different and many women can pull off every colour x
At the end, it looks like she had lowlights put in to tone down the gray.
Yes, darker colour to help blend x
