If I ever get negative comments I just say: it’s fine not everyone has the confidence to do it. Shuts them right up! 🤣🤣

I find it odd how suddenly people find they can be quite rude about our grey hair! Maybe it brings the fear out in them. I love my silver hair, but when I went back to my hairdresser after 7 months of growing it out she was incredibly rude, like "oh you look so different, I didn't know it was you! Oh you look so err .. .different!" I'm sure she was trying not to say old! I won't be going back. I think some hairdressers just want you to spend money on their products and don't like it when you take control back, and some people just don't understand you are happy being you, however that looks 🥰
When hairdressers do this I find it infuriating, they give these remarks like they have offered their service for free. They are paid to dye, cut or style hair not to put down your life choices. Good choice on not going back there are many lovely and supportive hairdressers out there xx
My hairdresser was also very negative and did not say anything to support my choice .. I am now finding a new hairdresser.. plenty around my area .. hopefully find one to encourage me on my journey .

You are a delight to watch ❤️🇨🇦 I’m a hair stylist and I have guests who want to transition to greys. No such thing unless we do all of what you too have mentioned. 😂 cold 🦃 turkey but they are concerned about negativity. I tell them do you girl 👧🏿 no matter the others.

I agree I love that part when it looks like ballayage and they don't get that back once it grows out so it seems like a really nice part of the grow out to enjoy it. I am 43 and have greys all around the hair line but dark on top mostly. I am using a demi permanent to disguise it a bit and eventually I will strip those bits when I have enough growth. All my family are saying you can't do this and you are too young and you really need to get your roots done. . Pees me right off that does. Thanks for this channel you are so glam. Xxx

Your striking and I wish my grey hair sparkle was as grown in. I embrace it and find those that are negative are many times just afraid or not confident enough.
I wonder who the idiot was that invented hair color and told women they were not beautiful if they aged and had grey hair. 🤔🙄

I sometimes have the same texture and when the weather is humid I usually tie it! I use a straightening shampoo too as my hair depends on the weather 🤷🏼♀️😂
I find some ladies seem nervous about my going grey.
Strange isnt it that they would feel that way. You continue rocking your confidence (hmmm maybe its actually the confidence that makes them nervous x)

I can imagine that I might say to a negative comment aimed at me, "I'm not letting my ego and the cultural egoic consciousness run my life anymore. This gray hair is my badge of seriously wonderful life experience and wisdom. :)

@the grey Indian mine is literally white at the top and salt n pepper through out the rest of my head I also thought I would have all silvers lol not sure why 😅

I have a question, so I’ve been letting my grays grow out for about three or four months now and it’s only like maybe 2 inches, and then I decided I was going to put a semi permanent on it because it’s at that stage where it doesn’t look so great and now I’m worried that the semi permanent is going to just stain my grays rather than come out. I’ve already washed it probably four times and it still has a lot pink to it. My question is will it come out completely the light pink tent, or should I just cover the gray’s right now and start over?

Maybe its the hair...but believe me some do look about 20 yrs older.
Thank you Sangeeta, I am sure though it is not only women with grey hair that you have seen look terrible. I also think 20yrs older is quite an exaggeration, I think this is what we've been conditioned to think and perceive. Looking older shouldn't be an issue for women if it isn't for men.
Why do you want to look old and worn out?? 😥😥😥
