Dear I have a question. You know us Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi people’s childhood hair rituals 😊 how we are so used to putting oil like mustard and coconut oil in our hair since childhood. Which hair oil is good for grey silver tone. I am worried now putting oil will make my hair brassy or yellowish.

Your story is my story. I am just starting and I am 56 but I have greys thru out now. I cut it to shoulder length to get the dry end cut off and let the roots grew out. I am letting it grew out so I can then cut it shoulder length again and get rid of the dye I still have left. But I agree it is freeing not to dye any more.

I find it interesting that people are proud to be going grey. Grey hair is nothing more than an external sign of mineral deficiencies, mostly copper. If someone is proud to be malnourished, that’s their business though. You do you girl

My first comment ever on RUclips and I couldn’t help but feel a bit teary by your elegant responses to rude comments to grey hair. 🥹🤗 I have suffered from rude comments from friends and family as well as extremely rude stares when I let it all grow out from my mid-20s as that was when I started greying and then from early-2019 I have been dyeing my greys. Hopefully one day I have the courage to just let it all be au natural again. Your videos have been like therapy to me. 🥹

Honestly, when I saw you with your gray hair I was shocked at your beauty. You are truly breath taking. I get what she is saying... we remember ppl (celebrities, friends from past) as they were and compare them to that which isn't fair. But your gray hair isn't just okay .. it is incredible and you are gorgeous! My mom is also horrified that I am even considering letting my grays go. Im sure I will get similar comments.

The more people, especially women normalize going grey, people will be less shocked and accept women going grey in their 30s and 40s. Slowly us women will dignify having grey hair 🤍🩶

I have to go cold turkey....my scalp began having allergic reactions to the dyes...itching and then scalp sores....pustules....I'm done....I won't risk my health anymore....I've been dying out of necessity since 2003....now, I see most people don't care what I do with my hair nor do I....what a joke the whole journey has been. I have beautiful platinum locks. Imagine if I'd have invested all the damn money I'd have put into dying my hair all these years.....sickening and yet, that's what I did and where I was mentally.....ridiculous.....I was kidding myself all those years. What a damn joke. = If I knew then what I know NOW......I'll miss being an exotic brunette but what the hell did it do for me?......NOTHING......I AM DONE....ready for a new beginning and a new, authentic ME.

My sister keeps trying to get me to color my hair again. And I’ve had other people say oh I don’t like your hair gray. You should go back to coloring. Well, I’m sure my reasons are very similar to most of you ladies as to why I decided to stop coloring my hair I like it. I’ve told some of these people that one of the big reasons that I stopped coloring my hair was that in two weeks I had to do the regrowth again, and my hair was falling out more so I tell them you know what I’d rather have gray hair than no hair! I’ve noticed many women because they color their hair so much and menopause. They literally look like they’re going bald. They are thinning out so much and I think to myself are you gonna continue to color those 10 hairs you’ve got on your head. Of course I would never say that to them. My hair still sheds because I have hypothyroidism which I take medication for but it sheds a whole lot less and it’s so nice not to have to deal with colored hair that can get so dried out etc. etc. so don’t let anybody tell you you look bad if you like it, that’s all that matters.
