- Hello ladies, in this video I mention 5 different ways that you can cover your hair in the early days. The first 2-4 months can be the toughest in this journey. This is simply because the growth can look accidental and we are just rooting for it to get to the stage where it looks like it’s on purpose. I hope you find this video helpful, please comment, like and don't forget to subscribe x

I’m in my 40s and haven’t colored my hair since August 2020. I’m just tired of coloring my hair. I have been coloring my hair since I was 15 as I loved to do so. I’m starting my grey hair journey now cold turkey. My hair looks similar to yours. I’m so afraid how people will react to my hair. Happy I found your channel.
I resonate with this so much! I too thoroughly enjoyed dying my hair but also became fed up in my 40's, power on sister, I promise it will be worth it and you will feel so different. How far along are you?
Love your grey hair videos! Thank you for making them. Just started to grow out my grey about 2 months ago. :)
Thank you for your tips, of course you are so beautiful all those scarves looked fanatastic on you!
I love the first headscarf. I used to use scarves like that when growing down shorter hairstyles to long. The third one was also beautiful 🙏💙
Thanks so much for your videos on grey hair. Huge support. I am going to bite the bullet. Being Indian and having jet black dyed hair which has actually gone all white is going to look quite awful in the transition period. Attitude is important... especially when you are going through the penguin phase. Bless you for taking the time to help!
Thanks. These tips are good for growing out bangs too.
Thank you for your inspiring style!
Absolute love your hair, such a gorgeous color 🌸💜🌺
Thank you , I don’t think I’ve actually ever loved it more myself ❤️❤️

Thank you for the tips.
I think I'll run out and buy some nice scarves!
You look so pretty in the scarves; not sure if it would work out so well for me, ha ha. I am very encouraged by the idea of what you call "strip dye," picking up the top section of my hair and dying that; I think that might end up making a pretty interesting effect.
Oh yes - strip dye definitely looks like it’s been created on purpose x
Excellent tips, thank you!
Glad it helped Linda x
Love!!! Great tips x

Wow l love your hair . Your video is so encouraging
Hi Shakeela - that’s made my day, so glad you find it encouraging xx
It made my scalp itch.
Very helpful tips. I am only starting out. Have about 6 weeks growth and a very obvious regrowth line. Thank you.
It’s early days, I feel they are the harder weeks personally, before you know it it will be 6 months! 🙌❤️
@@TheGreyIndian - I ordered some wide hair bands and scarves off Amazon last night and they arrived this morning just before I left to meet a friend for a socially distanced walk along the river so I wore one and it worked a treat to hide the awful line as my hair is more white than grey.
That’s amazing!! So glad it worked out well for you, I have a huge smile on my face right now ❤️❤️
Wow amazing idea thank you 🙏😘
Thank you, glad it helped xx
You look gorgeous with your hair pulled up on the sides! If I had your face, I’d wear it up and show it off!
Love your tips on how to hide the greys with scarves. You look fabulous in them Do you find they work loose as your wearing them?
Thank you Genie, initially yes however I started double knotting them, with the more silky material I would use hair grips and slide in from the back xx
My grey/white hair is in patches in the front and at the part.
It’s been about a year that I’m lettin my gray grow out n honestly I’m breaking down n about to dye it. I just can’t stand it anymore. Been using root sprays overtone color conditioner cuz I just can’t stand it anymore. Chopped about 5 inches or more and I just think I’m not ready for gray hair yet
Hey Kim, thank you for your message.. honestly you should do what you're happy with, ive come across many silver sisters who had attempted to let their natural hair grow in the past and because it didnt make them happy - they dyed it again. Do what makes you happy, when your are ready to go grey, you will be happy about your decision xx
Love tips
Why don't hair product companies make temporary hair powders, sprays, concealers in shades of gray??? I was a brunette and have been coloring my hair for years. I want to transition to gray. My regrowth is very light/ white. As I lighten and cool down the brown I will need lowlights for dimension and to blend regrowth at demarcation line. Having temporary root color would really help. After getting to natural shade completely, I probably add lowlights bc I don't want white hair. I need root touch up products in gray!!
Oh I hear you!!! The assumption has always been that the companies only need other colours to cover grey. Mind you it would be very difficult to make a colour light and bright enough to cover dark hair x
Exactly what I thought! They are scared people will give up the colours if the grey becomes a fashion fad...?
I watch all these videos and the grey looks great on most women when they have mid length hair or longer.
Amazing ideas..toggling between transitioning as im in my early 40s and indian in asia...🙃. Climate and curly hair double whammies! 😅
Same girl, same
I love this but the back of my head is wretched, my greying pattern makes it look as though I have a monk-ish bald spot and combover. I know this because I caught sight of myself on cctv 🤣
My mom can't use any of your ideas. She can't wear hats they make her head itch. She can't wear scarfs or hats at work. She can't use the spray in the can she has seborrheic dermatitis and can cause excessive itching.Any other ideas for her?
Hi there, sorry to hear this, has she tried visors? these are hats without the top section? On my ways to transition there is a process of maybe dyeing just the top section of hair so the grow can be gradual?
The problem with those sprays and other temporary colors is when you scratch your head the color gets under your nails and looks unsightly. Any suggestions?
Perhaps semi-permanents? I am transitioning to gray also and I’m wondering if semi permanent would be a good way to grow. I wonder if it would mess up my progress so far?
A nail brush helps, or cuticle stick.
For Europe and workplace...the cap/hat/scarf version is not so suitable for me
Scarves always fall back on me
HI thanks for the tips :) hug friend connie
Youre welcome x
Can you please fix the audio on your videos? It's so hard to hear
If there’s anyone who actually needs this useless advice, I don’t want to meet them. This is the most basic, obvious “advice” available. Scarf, really? What an innovative idea! Thank goodness this was short, because wow.
