    I have been growing my hair out 2.5 years...i think i have another 6 to 8 months, since I left it long. I really like the color now...hated it at first stage of grow out. My new hair is soft and shiny. I love it most days.

    Great video. I'm still growing out layers from a bad haircut to. My (not usual) hairdresser did it uneven as well. So I'm cutting my own hair again until the layers are where i want them. Normally i cut my hair but go to hairdresser for all over trim. My hair is bra strap lenght cutting the back lenght myself is very time consuming.

    You look gorgeous as always! Love that you are growing it long! I feel there are not enough long haired silversisters out there 🩶

    Point #1 is such a common concern, I agree! I grew out my silver for 2 years 5 years ago-then went back to dye for the past 3 years. Now I am starting a tentative silver grow out again, with the intention of achieving very long healthy natural hair by age 60 (that gives me 4 1/2 years to get there). Last silver grow out, I still had a fair bit of wet sandy colored hair mixed in all over and especially in the back. I've loved dyeing my hair very dark all my life (even though my natural hair is wet sand colored/bronde) but the root upkeep and toxicity of chemicals are both increasing concerns. Your hair is gorgeous!!!

      Sounds like you have a good plan this time and some extra motivation!!! Hair dye really is so toxic… it’s been so nice to no longer have to think about all of that!

    If you hadn’t liked the pattern of your gray would you have colored?

    • @amandasilversister
      @amandasilversister  Год назад +3

      I don’t think so… I was so tired of dyeing it and hiding the roots… but knowing what you’re going to get would be so motivating!!!
