Glad to see that you are touring Roots and Refuge. We've loved watching it develop and grow. Thanks for showing and promoting it. One of our favorite homesteads.
Amen!! I wish she'd bring back the devotionals a little more like she once did !! However she's already a great inspiration to being a better person and gardener !!
Hello Justin! This was GREAT! We are subscribers to you both! We are young farmers/homesteaders from Kansas! We so enjoy the same things your families enjoy! We are milking three cows right now and are working on filling our greenhouse today! Thank you for sharing this! It looks like you all enjoyed it so much! I am fourteen and I am the voice behind our channel! Blessings to all of you!
My momma always had a house full of plants. I’ve followed in her footsteps. Hard to believe some house plants can sell for $1000’s. I have a Monstera Albo Vargata that the clipping from it I can sell for $50 a piece all day long on Facebook marketplace. It’s mind blowing. Jesse’s golden pothos she showed you (her oldest plant) she can snip back a couple pieces to the nodes and sell each of those pieces easily for $10-20 each.
So nice to see this and know by now the cow has calved and the inside stalls mostly doen as well as the outside milking station. Greenhouse platforms done and glass greenhouse framing doen. Amazing progress and all exciting!
please take a minute and update folks on Art and Bri. Nothing from them in WEEKS. we are all worried sick, and since you are their friends, would appreciate hearing something to let us know they are okay. How can they survive without income?
I been following R&R for a long time and only now I realize how much enormous progress they have made in just one month. It's mid-February, and the barn is operational, they have 2 new calves, greenhouses are growing, Jess is milking cows like a pro ..... I'm in love 🤩🥰😍
Always happy to see my two favorite vloggers working together, thank you for all your work sharing what you know! I hope your videos help bring about an agricultural revolution but if it doesn't work out that way I'm pretty confident your channels have taught me enough to keep my family fed. One percent every day... it really does make a big task sound doable.
Years ago, I bought a boat - a1929 Matthews, 8 tons of mahogany, and took a philodendron with me when I moved aboard. I hung it from a hook in the salon cabin. It got seasick and began to drop leaves. I gave it to a friend ashore and it came right back. Maybe it was the constant motion of the boat...
I hear you on the coffee Miah, my husband and I take our espresso machine with us on vacation. And you should try Redwing boots. My dad has been buying them for as long as I can remember and they last him 3-4 years working everyday as a farrier.
We are admitted coffee snobs. Have the same espresso machine. Would love to have a commercial one in our house! Very jealous of your zone 8- we are in NH waiting for spring. Many blessings to you all❤️💕
Nice, we love muscadines down in Louisiana😋 Jess has gotten sooo much done since this date it makes me dizzy, yet severely impressed and motivated. Great job Jess and Jeremiah!
The Tolkien Cookbook!! I want all the cookbooks. I don't refer to them often but they'd sure look pretty on a bookshelf! ❤❤ I really love the crossover events with other youtubers too. The different editing and story styles with similar content is fascinating!
hey there , may I humbly suggest a batch of "Honey Lavender Goat Milk Soap" perhaps with a bit of oatmeal . ?????? I mean with all that sweet goat milk and all ,... justsayn...😊
Carolina Boot has a Domestic line of boots for men that are specifically made in the USA. They're a great workboot, my husband swears by them. Unfortunately their women's boots are not made in the US. I wear my LLBean Duck Boots regularly during the winter.
My name is Anna DeHart. I started watching your channel last spring. I just wanted to say that I've learned so much from your channel gardening, homesteading, an even from your devotionals. I just wanted to say thank you. My mom passed last march and I took care of her. So throwing myself into gardening helped me grieve an I watched your channel alot. So thank you an bless you an your family
Hello dear Jessica, In a conversation with Justin and Rebecca, you did not know the names of your houseplants in the living room and kitchen. I would be happy to help you with that. The plant that dangles in the kitchen you brought from the old house, is called Golden Pothus, or in its scientific name that is not usually remembered: Epipremnum aureum.
I was wondering if you guys have considered testing the feed you give your animals to make sure there aren't any GMO's, heavy metals, or pesticides in the feed that may be causing your inflammation and health issues. If the animals are eating these things in their feed, then you are consuming it as well when you harvest the animals. Grass fed, grass finished, pasture raised 100% organic is all you should be allowing your animals to be raised on and you'll consume the best quality from them as well. this will help give a better ratio of Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids, and help lower your inflammation, and give better vitamin and mineral sources from the meats. Try and stay away from all sources of soy products in feed and your pantry items as well. I hope this helps, you guys are doing so well and it pains me to see you struggle so much and for so long with the health issues. Good luck and keep up the good fight! P.S. I cross posted this on an earlier video from 6 months ago, thought you might find it easier on a more frequent video. Take care
Jess was the knowledge I needed to grow tomatoes. I typed in how to grow tomatoes and Jess popped up.I watched her ( grew good tomatoes) and been hooked to her ever since. SHE MY FRIEND HAS OPENED MY EYES TO MANY THINGS TO GROW ! She led me to many other channels too. Including yours. O and abundance + .❤ R&R P.S I don't like tomatoes. Grew for my family
I found Roots and Refuge through y’all a couple of years ago and I’m so glad I did. Thank you for promoting other Farms/Homesteads through your platform.
I mailed a couple dozen hand painted veggie plant name stakes for You and Ben for your garden. They should have gotten there before christmas and I would really like to know if they got to you? I am on FB and you can PM me.
I really enjoyed the video I liked it that you made it real it’s not that everything has to be perfectly clean and organize every minute when you work every day on a farm I don’t know how you do what you do but I do appreciate that you show it like it really is when things die they die when things are looking beautiful they are looking beautiful you do a great job with everything you do Jessica love your channel so much I try to watch it every chance I get hugs and kisses from grandma Sandy and Debbie
So happy we got to look at Roots and Refuge ! I love watching what is going on at your homestead. Y’all really make my days happy! I have learned a lot from watching your blogs. Loved keeping up with your films! Beautiful family! Thank you for so much knowledge 🥰
I have all my indoor plants in my living room and kitchen windows. I don't like to keep plants in the other rooms because I forget to water them. Plus, we need curtains in our bedrooms. I live in the north and we need to have something green during our long six-month winters.

SLOGGER MUCK BOOTS! Made in the USA and you can send them back to be recycled when you wear them out. Comes in different farm patterns and colors!
