The “insurance doctors “ are what we have in my area, sad to say. I walked from work to the doctor’s office several times a number of years ago. I was about a mile away and had 15 minutes to get to my appointment on time. As soon as I got there, the nurse would take my blood pressure. Not giving me time to cool down and my heart rate get back to a normal rate. The “doctor “ tried to get me to take blood pressure medication. He insisted that I had high blood pressure and needed to take this medication. He wouldn’t listen to me about why my blood pressure was high at the time it was taken. The last time I went to him, I got someone to give me a ride. He said that the medication was working because my blood pressure was normal. I told him that I never filled the prescription. And that the only reason my blood pressure was normal was because I didn’t walk from work to the office. I got a ride so my heart rate was at a normal rate instead of a higher rate because of excise. Then I told him to get my records because I was no longer having him as my doctor. He wasn’t happy with me at all!! I think he needed the medication at that point. Since then I only go to a doctor when I feel like I need a doctor. To date I haven’t been sick in over 20 years, not even a cold/flu. I’m not taking ANY Medication of any kind. I’m 67 years old this month.
Same for me 89 years old and no meds only B-12 because I am a vegan. I’m excited to find this video hope I can connect and learn more. I love watching homesteading programs especially Carolyn and Josh.
I am 70, No meds. Beginning to have some issues; but no way I will go to a regular Am.Medical Doctor. I know my issues stem from diet & it is up to me to change my diet.
I am a Naturopath in the Texas panhandle with a passion to teach parents how to take care of their families naturally. So excited to see the medical trend changing this direction.
We need a million docs like this doc, this is a critical junction in the USA. Excellent content, we need a national network of docs like this. Help. I am in Ohio.
I too am in Ohio. And have found none here that I can afford. Forced to now pay for Medicare I go thru the hoops but ultimately have to treat myself with the help of a few drs who aren’t tied to insurance based medicine. It gets costly though and they still follow some of the office models that others do. I’ll do it as long as.I can. And get healthier in the process.
This literally just changed my life. Although my dad is a traditional doc, for the last 10 years, I've been pursuing a natural health lifestyle here on our homestead with nutrition and herbalism. But I still feel the need to have a medical practice behind me. Having suffered through patient shaming most of my life, I avoid the medical grid system like the plague. I just looked up DCP in my area and found a practice that is not only DCP, but includes holistic treatment options as well. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
Hands down the BEST episode you've EVER done!!!! I've spent the last 15 years battling chronic sever ITP. I was on a constant drug ( to the tune of $10,000 a month), hospital/clinic treatments roller coaster. Life was miserable. I finally went to a naturopath, studied the effects of food on my disease, started taking herbs, and having a lot of faith in God. Today my disease is in the rear view mirror, no thanks to traditional medicine. Western medicine was ALL about the money. My husband is ready to retire but didn't because of health insurance. Now we have a different avenue. Thank you so much! 💓 This episode was greatest!!!!
I'm Robert's better half Debbie. I am a retired registered nurse who practiced medicine in a large public teaching hospital. In the 1999-2000 I assisted one of our attending physicians in setting up a CAM clinic at our hospital. CAM stands for complimentary Alternative Medicine. He performed acupuncture, gave exercise courses and prescribed herbal medications. Actually I was surprised that the hospital allowed him to do this back then. I'm really excited to look into this new system. I am so happy I'm retired because our medical system is horribly broken now. Thank you for sharing this awesome information.
LPN for 30 years. Healthcare was broken when I entered the field and it’s only getting worse. Not to mention the treatment of nurses is disgusting. Thinking of retiring soon myself
I love the chit chat because it beautiful seeing how Josh and you respect and honor each other, which is a testament of the teamwork that is needed to be successful and fill fulfilled in the way of life you have chosen
I am a 70 year young woman who is getting serious about my health. I take no prescription drugs and want to continue learning as much as possible. Thank you so much for this episode.
I enjoyed this so much! I’ve always been pretty “off grid” because I never trusted doctors. Even as a child, I’d tell my mom what was wrong with me and what was needed. Read tons of herbalism books starting at age 12. I’ve successfully treated my husband and children without Dr. intervention with the exception of trauma/broken bones. Last year, I had a blood panel worked up by an “off grid” doctor just to see if I had any red flags. She told me she’s never seen better labs. My vitamin D level was 102. She told me to keep doing what I was doing.
We have a doctor in our town who walked away from insurance payments and started a practice about 10 years ago, he doesn't take insurance, it's a brilliant idea he only accepts so many patients so he can take time with each patient. He also makes deal with labs and pharmacies to get discounts on drugs and lab work... He has grown exponentially and has added two other doctors to his practice. My Daughter is a member of his practice, and she pays $50. a month that's it no other charges and she can go to her doctor any time it usually only takes a day or two to get into see her doctor. This Doctor is a second-generation Doctor in our community and has a huge following. He also managed to let more than three quarters of his staff go when he went this route because all they do is bill insurance... A lot of his patients still use insurance for emergencies. So, if anyone is in western Washington, I can direct you to a great group of doctors.
Yes yes and yes. I was 4 months bedridden with doctors experimenting with medication that was making me worse and telling me „just keep taking the meds“ and not sending me to do the tests that would make sense. I went to naturopathic medicine practitioner and he diagnosed me with Crohn’s disease just by looking at my lips (of course he then sent me to do the tests and we confirmed his diagnosis). We healed my Crohn’s with only natural means including colon therapy, ozon therapy, complete nutrition shift and identification of food allergies, supplementation and refilling my vitamin storages. Since 2.5 years in remission. My health journey indeed brought me to this vision for my life to want to learn to homestead, can food etc. Thanks guys! Mind you I am in Germany and here the fully naturopathic healers (not talking about conventional doctors who will give you a homeopathic spray every now and then) are not considered doctors, are never covered by insurance and aren’t allowed to sign any papers for you such as illness paper or confirmation for your chronic illness in case you need it to file for welfare etc
My family has been involved in this type of practice for years as well as using Samaritan. It is WONDERFUL! My late husband was a pharmacist and everything Dr. Issa said about the way the insurance model works is truth. I am so thankful for brave doctors who offer us something better. Health care at its finest.
@@kellyreynolds1980 we have that here as well. But our doctor’s practice is growing by leaps and bounds. He’s adding more doctors to the practice. Hopefully this concept will spread. People are hungry for it.
My grandfather practiced medicine for over 50 years and the system described here started back in the 1950s. By 1990 he was considered a quack doctor bc he wouldn't conform to these practices. My own experience with the medical system has led me to seek out herbal solutions. They want to treat my symptoms and not do an official diagnosis (bc that requires testing and too much time) then the insurance comes in and says "you have no diagnosis for these medications so you don't need them and we won't cover them". The system is definitely broken and I'm so glad to see that there are doctors willing to fight it and bring medicine back to its original purpose TO HELP THE PATIENT.
We had the world's greatest doctor pass away in my area not too long ago. He graduated from Harvard and practiced in a smaller building outside of their home here in TN. He and his wife barely charged enough to get by. I'm pretty sure he delivered half the babies born in Grundy County for 50 years. He didn't even charge for most prescriptions if he had them on hand. He stitched up and put back together too many to tally on one paper. Look up Dr. Harbolt (folks around here pronounce it Har-bow, all one syllable though) if you have some free time. People from 3 and 4 counties away would hear of him and come see him when they needed help. Raise your shot of kambucha, tea, whiskey, water, whatever you're drinking tonight to this man who raised up a tiny mountain town and kept it going for half a century.
Thank you! This is so needed! We are in need of real Health Care that helps the patient. Not treating symptoms with dangerous drugs that cause more harm, but solutions/healthy regimens to bring actual healing. Insurance and big pharma today perpetuating sickness. Yes, take our health off grid and discipline ourselves to eat/drink for the health of the body as directed by off grid doctors like Dr Issa! We need more people like you who really care about real health for people!
Now this is a real Dr!❤ You are very blessed to know him, few and far between. Ive studied herbs and natural health after being in the medical system. Ive been in natural health 24 plus yrs, but couldnt slow my lifestyle down, and implement them, living in the city, with my own business, and not fixing my own food, stressing about business, staying up late, and cancer hit! We all need to put our health first, from eating, sleep, etc, and first a walk with our precious Lord, and Creator. We sold our house in the city bought some beautiful land time to heal now, and not go back to the hustle and bustle life. My Oncologist was a pharmacist!!! This is the hardest to deal with. Our beliefs totally different. I know Im her worst patient or client. But so far shes not quit...lol! But also she dont know all the natural things I do. Im still here, have 70 plus chickens I take care of, and their houses, garden, can, preserve food, just mowed grass yesterday, with stage 4 cancer terminal. One yr ago I just had spine surgery were rsdiation and cancer totally ruined my vertebrae, and it had to be replaced, in the middle of moving, I was in a down hill spiral loosing a lb a day. No more radiation, learn my lesson, no chemo at all! But I cant give up! Research for answers they are out there! Thank you for all your information yall. This will be a help to so many people! I've learn to just dont busy yourself so much you forget to actually live! All this having everything or should I say material things dont mean anything when you are sick, you cant enjoy them, and you will find out how much you dont need, and how much peace there is without it! Good job Carolyn! May God Bless yall! ❤ I wish I could find a Dr like him!
Yes I have insurance and a regular Primary Care doctor... but I see my Function Wellness Doctor who is AMAZING! I pay cash for my functional wellness doctor. Totally worth it. She fixed my "depression" which was actually a Vit D/Vit B/hormone deficiency! I am a Nurse and complained for years about the same symptoms and was just started on antidepressants which DIDNT work and actually made me worse with the side effects. All my "regular" labs were normal. My PCP never checked my vitamins or hormones which was actually what my problem was. A Functional Wellness off grid doctors give the information to the patient and puts the power back in the patients hands. It's an amazing thing!
Well this was fantastic! My husband gets very irritated with me because I've basically given up on doctors except in an emergency situation (other than I have to do follow up visits once a year with a neurologist due to being on seizure medication) but I really started noticing a few years ago that doctors no longer seem to focus on ways to help their patients get better, they just find ways for their patients to get by. That is NOT what our bodies were created to do. And a related problem I've noticed with most people today is that they have no idea how to listen to their bodies and/or take care of even the most basic medical issues themselves.
My husband always tells his doctor to let his wife work on that first. The doctor usually gives me 3 months to reverse or lower what ever the issue was. I got him off of all meds using diet, herbs and exercise for several years. Every month we got a letter from the insurance with references for meds je didn't need.
My now ex husband refused to do anything for his health besides what the docs prescribed. Except that he took massive amounts of vitamins/supplements but he was still obese with diabetes, heart problems and an amputated leg because if it. The vitamins must help since he is now 82, but it drove me crazy for 20 years.
Hi from Melbourne Australia. I loved this chat and was such an eye-opener to your health system. This past year has seen many people across the world look for alternative health care and more importantly take charge of their and their family's health. I have always cooked from scratch so I know what is in my meals. Being in control of your health and having an Off Grid Dr puts confidence back to the people and the Dr him/her self. thankyou
This is fantastic! When hospitals are refusing life saving organ transplants because the patient is not vaccinated, we need a new system where people are actually valued as image bearers of God. I’d love to hear Dr. Issa’s opinion on the COVID vaccine
I've been following you guys for YEARS and this is one of the most useful videos! I am already researching for our family's switch. One thing I am wondering about Dr. Issa is what his reccommendations would be to young adults wanting to open a medical practice like his, but they have to go through medical schools and their indoctrination, loyalty to Big Pharma, etc. This video is an answer to prayer. We have a group of Amish near us and they avoid the hospitals immensely, especially since "C" in 2020. Everyone is looking for alternatives. I will be sure to share this with friends and family. Thank you!
I've been with my Lupus Dr. for 22yrs & PCP for 20yrs. She moved on and I cried... It's very hard for us to find Dr's such as yourself and it hurts when we lose a good Dr. who really cares & who truly up front with us.... No way can a person be diagnosed in 15 minutes. I always get the office to make appts every two weeks .... why to get paid or to continue the session. I wouldn't keep going through that.... I'm blessed cause I got the new PCP through word of mouth, and he knows my issues.... Thank you Father.... But a lot of us really don't have that connection. WE REALLY NEED WAY MORE DOCTORS LIKE YOU BACK IN THE MEDICAL FIELD.... And pray the ones that we have who get hung up in the system don't kill us ...... greed is a sin...... heck so is 15 minutes office time with a script, it's a sin too.....🤔😣😥😮😄😄😄😄😄 LOL
I just retired after 38 years in the medical field as a revenue cycle report writer. Dr Issa's words rang so true for what I experienced in the rapid changes in the 'insurance model' of practicing medicine. EVERYTHING is driven by 'reimbursement'. 5-15 minute office visits and revenue-driven benchmarks with and without quality measures robs the patient and the physician of an important relationship based on CARE. Thank you so much for this segment!
@@YeshuaKingMessiah In a medical practice, revenue cycle reporting is the tracking of revenue (charges to patients or insurance companies for services, supplies, medications, durable medical equipment, lab and imaging studies, etc) through reimbursement (payments by patients or insurance companies for said services). It is all driven by level of service coding and proper documentation to maximize reimbursement. Many times this analysis model creates pressure on providers to see as many patients as possible to increase revenue/reimbursement. Then Administrative quotas restrict the provider from being able to spend sufficient time with each patient to provide quality care focusing on treating root causes of illness rather than a 5-10 minute visit and prescribing medication to treat symptoms. It has hurt our healthcare systems and the patients they serve.
@@shelleylee8774 ok it’s an analysis model for MDs that put profit above care So many MDs don’t even practice now, they open the office and hire PAs and NPs to work, charging the ins co for visits, etc but paying less to the worker. Like when they make u consult with the RN on phone before they’ll deign to speak to u-possibly. Smooth deal, AMA.
I have been a nurse for 30 years and I have seen great "Old School" doctors who had to change their way of practicing medicine that was once this very off-grid kind of practice and were forced to move to the insurance run practice model. Thank you for talking about this off-grid medical practice.
I'm Diabetic. I went on Carnivore Diet. I took one pill, omipod and 2 injections. My sugar got really low. I have quit most of them to see how it goes. I loved this video.
I've heard stories of a lot of diabetics having their condition reversed when they do the carnivore diet because it gives their pancreas time to recover from overworking. The diabetes may eventually come back, but at that point, you know how to put it back into remission. Maybe your pancreas just needs a vacation. Good luck!
Off grid medicine sounds great, the system is so screwed up, I've been a nurse for 1 years and I can see how broke this system is I've been wishing their was something else I could do to change the system. Gonna definitely look into this. Thanks for posting.
Love this! Our doctor opened practice like this 6 years ago & it’s been excellent for our family. She takes functional approach & spends 30-60 min with each patient. The membership & ability to text your doctor is invaluable!
This is how my doctor is he is basically self-pay. He will run tests through your insurance if you would like but it is not what drives how he takes care of you. He is also holistic doctor which here in Florida are kind of hard to find.
My husband was in “Modern” medicine for years and left because he got so tired of the Insurance company’s demanding what the treatment will be. He opened a direct pay practice in 2014 and loves being able to actually care for his patients and having the time to hear them and their needs. He also is certified in being able to train people how to workout/exercise. He is able to treat the whole patient, not just the symptoms. It is a great system.
This is the first doctor I ever heard ask his patients what have they been eating. Diet and life style. If I ever needed a doctor he would be the one I would want.
This is awesome! I’m blessed to have both an integrated healthcare provider and an NMD. I also am blessed enough to do what needs to be done irrespective of insurance, which we do have. It helps with imaging and such. I was slowly dying for 10 years without being listened to or diagnosed. Fortunately I kept going to different places and got what I needed. I’m so thankful for health!!!! Keep up the good work and making a difference!!! You’re saving lives!
Ty homesteading family with off grid doc! Excellent! Everyone should listen to this podcast with the way the healthcare system is these days in the virus world. Ty much lord bless. We really need God these days. Lord help us please
For my children's ear infections I have sauteed garlic to address the bacteria and onion to address the pain. Once translucent I strain the oil, allowed to cool down so it is warm. Have my child lay on their side with infected ear up. Put in a few drops and let it sit 5 minutes. Usually there is some relief pretty quickly. Switching sides with a towel under their ear for drainage. This has worked wonderfully. As an adult self treats using same method. When he has kids I know he will do the same.
This is great! My husband broke his back and ended up on 18 prescriptions! He had 2 heart attacks and the number was raised to 23 and we were told he'd never got off of them. After 25 years living this way, I got him off all but two of them! Were working on those through nutrition and other modalities. I have helped many people lower their drug dependence over the years or never start!!! I love hearing about the off grid doctors!
This is amazing. I knew some medical professionals were going off grid, but it's exciting to have someone to contact now who has his practice in place!
I found out about this model A couple of years ago and it has been the best change I ever made with regard to my Healthcare. Being able to spend almost an hour every time I visit and actually be heard and have my questions answered is helping me stay healthy.
I love your videos so you can chat as long as you want. I always learn new things. Loved learning about this new/old medical model. Dr. Issa sounds like a great doctor!! I hope to find someone within my area.
Our son just went to a dr our Oath Keeper group just started working with who has a monthly price, no insurance, and it was great. She was helpful and kind, he didn’t feel hurried like going to a normal dr. He was given a script for an ultrasound in case he needed it if the antibiotic didn’t work bc we live 45 minutes away from her office. We wish we had known about this 1 month earlier so we wouldn’t have had to get insurance through my husband’s work but we know where we are going after our year is up with the insurance plan.
A nutritionist helped me a great deal once. She requested the result of the blood test and a 3 day report of everything I ate. Based on that and my symptoms, she suggested specific vitamins and herbs which did wonders!
Thank you so much for this! My husband and I have been looking for a way to homestead full-time without medical insurance and I think y’all have given us the answer! We thought one of us would be stuck in a town job for the rest of our days because of our dependence on insurance… but this is so freeing!
If you do something about your own health care, do it! The typical model of "sick care". That is is exactly what I call it. Great doctors want you to be healthy not a life long dependant user if meds. Thank you for this interview.
This is definitely what we need more of everywhere. Our family had to seek our holistic PCM who was already unplugged from the medical machine over 10years ago. Unfortunately traveling the 3hours to their office has become a significant burden and we havent been in 2 years though thankfully we have all been fairly healthy. I would just prefer to take immediate need sick visits to them rather than the local medical complex.
Love this! This speaks to everything I’ve believed most of my life since I was a kid! My mom got into holistic healing after reading a book on how to reverse cancer naturally in the 90s. I can’t remember the name of it though, but it made me very cautious around the traditional medical community.
My 13 yr old was coming down with a cold and cough and I tried your mustard poultice. He slept thro the night without coughing once! Thanks! I make mustard seed baby pillows - an Indian tradition that prevents and remedies flat spots in infants. One of the reason mustard seeds are used(other than coz they are so tiny and make the pillow so pliable) is that it is supposed to help with congestion....I didn't connect the dots till yesterday. Maybe sleeping on the mustard seed pillow releases tiny doses of the spice? Anyway, thank you for sharing your remedies with us!
@@redinthethevalley Paper bags!!Even cooler, I can't wait to try it that way. You guys are the best. I hope a lot more people start trying these remedies and benefitting from them. Thank you for educating us:)
Thank you so much for this video. I am sick of how the medical system just turns to pharmaceutical drugs. I am glad you Dr. Issa are trying to get to the root cause of your patients health.
My chiropractor works this way. When he saw how little insurance covers for chiropractic care he sold his business - he has another, unrelated business as well, and focused on that for a couple of years - then built an office at the end of his home and started seeing patients again, for a set dollar amount, which was about what most of them had been paying as a copay anyway. He's spent anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour & 15 minutes with me, depending on what's going on, and always gives me stretches and/or exercises I can do to reduce the frequency/severity of issues, or sometimes eliminate them completely. I did a quick look-up, and I have a DPC location about two hours away.
Fascinating!! Did not know about taking health off grid. I really feel like this is what I have been looking for, it makes so much sense! Of course, take out most of that conflict of interest and more tailored to the individual instead of standardized labelling involved with insurance. Awesome conversation! Thanks for educating us and adding more tools to our toolbox.
Wonderful! Blessings to you and the Doc! Such a blessing to hear this good news. My sister worked for two surgeons and they doing medicine because of the red tape, surgery quota and no longer could help people be free and healed.
Dr Issa is a man after My own heart. Years ago, there was a newspaper article interviewing 3 physicians that went cash only & took back their right to actually care for the patient & the patients loved their dollars--much less of them, btw, going towards health care that actually benefitted them. I'm very interested in pursuing this. Thanks so much for the interview. ❤️
I have finally found a department that I can hangout with my patients for a little while, within reason (they want a max of 1hr per patient), and it brings me so much happiness and back to why I became an RN. It’s so upsetting that the healthcare system is indeed very “soul deadening” as it is very money focused herding patients in and out as quick as possible. I would absolutely love to start working off grid and have enjoyed starting to make tinctures and incorporating more medicinal plants into my garden. I would love to one day not be tied to my job and would love to just homestead. I wish I lived closer to y’all and the off grid Doc. Thanks so much for sharing all your knowledge with us ❤
Thank you for this conversation. I know both sides of Fed and State Insurance. I was an Eligibility Specialist for a State Insurance. From my health side, I can tell its a insurance flow /stream. If one thing shows up your put into current and hold on you get sucked in to diagnoses and treatments. Then I was looked at as not wanting to get well when I refused Rx. Then the letters, Emails and phone call start.
U can always just take the script home and never fill it Or don’t pick it up if they insist on faxing it in Or take the pills home n never take them All so I can continue to get what u do need from the dr YOU own you, THEY are consultants. Not “under their care” but giving their educated advice in ur final choice.
Sounds like how the doctors operated years ago. They even made house calls. When you called to speak to the dr, you would get to talk to the dr. Now you get a call center and hope for them to call you back. So sad what it’s turned in to. 💕~Cheryl~💕
Thanks for having him on. I drive by there all the time when I go visit my daughter. I always wondered what they did. I will be signing my husband and myself up.
I wonder if any of the off grid docs know any of the doctors fighting against the medical disinformation put out by the CDC, FDA NIH, etc... they should all get together and change this very broken system we have here in America! As a nurse of 50 years (retired now), this information is sooo refreshing! Can't wait to see how it develops!!👵😇
I'm from Ireland , living in England. I love doing natural remedies. Course Im not against modern medicine. Just would rather try natural before I take antibiotics etc. Love learning more. Thank you ❤️
I really enjoy your videos. This one was super interesting. Going "off grid" with medical is something I have been debating on for awhile and I'm glad to see that it isn't as far fetched as it sounds
love that he is going back to taking care of his patients having insurance can hurt a person insurance you have to go through all these tests when the doctors can spend more time with you and know what's going then they want to send you to a specialist I miss the day when one doctor could do it all wish more doctors would do this would love to know where i could find a doctor like him where i am in Arkansas
I just retired from a 20 year careet as an Anesthesiologist to start practicing Longevity and Metabolic Medicine off-grid and off the Titanic of coroorate medical care.
Dr Joel Furhman is glad to bring his patients to health. He was asked aren’t you afraid of losing patients? He said no because there are a lot of sick people. He writes lots of books too.
I've never had any sort of "health insurance" and at 49 years old next month, I'm extremely glad of that fact. Some people feel "exposed" without some sort of insurance, but I've always seen it for the racket it is. Cash pay, when needed and now...I don't even "have" a doctor. I've become my family's doctor. I suppose I could find a Dr. Issa. Surely there are some in Oklahoma!
My husband is on track to die of medical care. He had a dr that was helping him get off diabetes med then she moved. The next doctor increased his RX on the second visit. We need to find someone in our area that is not afraid to help him get off meds! This gives me hope. Thank you😎
There was a young lady 19 years old, who was in snd out of hospitals every 2-3 weeks due to Diabetes & a Dr she happened upon told her to eat peaches for a full 2-days, she did her symptoms went away. Of course, she then changed her diet. My Brother-in-Law was diagnosed with Type 3 diabetes & he and my sister decided that he would not fill the prescriptions with bad side affects, but would try an all natural approach. They went vegetable soup w/beans, cornbread and salads 2-3x’s/day, the next month, his symptoms almost all gone. In the 2nd-3rd month, the diabetes was no longer. He was 78 @ the time & still going strong. No meds. Do not forget the water.
Love this. As a nurse of 30+ years I love that he treats the patient not just the symptoms. It is nice that he spends the time with the person and not worry about the time or how many he has to see a day. This is the way it should be. 👍
Our doctor practices this way. It’s wonderful! He says “Any doctor can find disease, a good doctor finds health.”
Amen!

The “insurance doctors “ are what we have in my area, sad to say. I walked from work to the doctor’s office several times a number of years ago. I was about a mile away and had 15 minutes to get to my appointment on time. As soon as I got there, the nurse would take my blood pressure. The look on their faces when you respond "no" when asked if you're on any prescriptions! I'm 68. I guess that's not normal!

Now you're getting there!
Wow love this interview and Dr Issa's health testimony. He should start a youtube channel. I would love to hear more about how he changed his health.
Yes, I'd subscribe immediately.
I would subscribe for sure! There aren’t very many physicians on RUclips focused on health improvement as well as proper nutrition
This 💯
@@tional5266they get shut down unfortunately
that is AWESOME. You need to have him create a list of "off -grid" docs for the whole nation!!
Love this new healthcare model! So great to see physicians getting back to what’s important: caring for and empowering patients
Wow! I'm in North western Oregon but would love to know about this Dr!!
Where in western Washington???
Centralia Washington
Wow, how near SeaTac are you? I don't mean the airport, lol.
Hello fellow Samaritan member! I would love to find a DPC in our area, but we in in the land of 2 medical monopolies.
Wow, yes this is so awesome! I'm so glad there are doctors rebelling against this broken system. Thanks for sharing!
👆This is part of his story a major news outlet captured several years ago.
What a blessing! I'm in Rutherford County. Wish I had known about this wonderful doctor.
Me too.
Revenue cycle report writer
U made a living doing that? Incredible.
The world never ceases to amaze me every day.
I work in a medical system's revenue cycle too and it is nauseating the way patients are treated.
@@mlady6564 what IS revenue cycle
I think I must not be getting that
@@YeshuaKingMessiah In a medical practice, revenue cycle reporting is the tracking of revenue (charges to patients or insurance companies for services, supplies, medications, durable medical equipment, lab and imaging studies, etc) through reimbursement (payments by patients or insurance companies for said services).
@@shelleylee8774 ok it’s an analysis model for MDs that put profit above care
So many MDs don’t even practice now, they open the office and hire PAs and NPs to work, charging the ins co for visits, etc but paying less to the worker.
Nurse of 30 years here too. It was bad when we started and has only gone down hill since. Hoping to get out of the field soon.
Good luck!
I hope you do well! Be safe!
Consider looking up Dr. William Davis who helps ppl reverse type 2 diabetes and more
Off grid medicine sounds great, the system is so screwed up, I've been a nurse for 1 years and I can see how broke this system is I've been wishing their was something else I could do to change the system. Gonna definitely look into this. Thanks for posting.
Love this! Our doctor opened practice like this 6 years ago & it’s been excellent for our family. She takes functional approach & spends 30-60 min with each patient. The membership & ability to text your doctor is invaluable!
My goodness
What is the membership fee??
@@YeshuaKingMessiah $100/month for our family of 6. I think it’s $25/per month for individual. Very reasonable.
Wow that is so affordable! Can I ask what state you live in?

This is how my doctor is he is basically self-pay. He will run tests through your insurance if you would like but it is not what drives how he takes care of you. He is also holistic doctor which here in Florida are kind of hard to find.
We do something similar here in TN.

Wow..I have been "off grid healthcare" for 50 years..this is a great reminder .. I appreciate the encouragement!
Maybe I will work more this year and she'd this 20 pounds.😇🤷
This is the first doctor I ever heard ask his patients what have they been eating. Diet and life style. If I ever needed a doctor he would be the one I would want.
This is exactly what I need and want. After 58 yrs on the health grid, I relate to the doctor. I am tried of the meds and 15 mins with the doctor.
I wish every doctors would be like this.
Also, the poultry stuffing pins work great for unclogging spiggots-also for unclogging shower heads!
I've never heard of this type of practice, it was very eye opening! Thank you Homesteading Family for sharing!
I recommend Dr. Sherry Rogers! She's an incredible Doctor!
Off Grid Doc's story is like Dr.Bergs' story.
Both true docs, what a blessing 😇
I haven’t heard about this person before that you mentioned.. is his story here on yt?
I love your videos so you can chat as long as you want. I always learn new things. Loved learning about this new/old medical model. Dr. Issa sounds like a great doctor!! I hope to find someone within my area.
Been off grid (electrical) grid since 2007. Love it
This exactly what I have been tell a friend of mine that works for a doctor. I don't want to be on medication all my life.
I love the deer.we never get tired of encountering them.just sn added blessing.also the rabbits.
Its a genuine Doc Baker!!! Love it.
Thank you so much for this! My husband and I have been looking for a way to homestead full-time without medical insurance and I think y’all have given us the answer!
We thought one of us would be stuck in a town job for the rest of our days because of our dependence on insurance… but this is so freeing!
i've wondered for years if insurance is PART of the problem!!
This was awesome. I’m not a homesteader, but I’ve been of this medical mindset my entire life. Thanks for letting me know I’m not alone…
Ahh yes a mustard plaster! My late mother in law used this when she was living! To this day we keep dry mustard and paper bags specifically for this!
@@redinthethevalley Paper bags!!Even cooler, I can't wait to try it that way. You guys are the best. I hope a lot more people start trying these remedies and benefitting from them. Thank you for educating us:)

GOD bless you all.
Hello, I came across your page today and I'm so excited about getting more information before I purchase my property.
I wish we had doctors in Australia like Dr Issa. I have no faith in our medical system and have not for years. Thankyou for your informative talks.
There are ..called Functional medicine practitioners..
You can talk all you want. I love to absorb all the great information you share while I multitask.
Thank you for this conversation. Please post this to Rumble also.
This was in AZ btw.
Thanks so much for sharing all your knowledge with us ❤
I had never even heard of such a thing. I am so happy I watched this and plan on looking for a DPC in my area.
U can always just take the script home and never fill it
Or don’t pick it up if they insist on faxing it in
Or take the pills home n never take them
All so I can continue to get what u do need from the dr
YOU own you, THEY are consultants.
YES YES YES YES YES!!!! Excellent! I’ve had this mindset for years. I am so glad to hear doctors moving this way.
love that he is going back to taking care of his patients having insurance can hurt a person insurance you have to go through all these tests when the doctors can spend more time with you and know what's going then they want to send you to a specialist I miss the day when one doctor could do it all wish more doctors would do this would love to know where i could find a doctor like him where i am in Arkansas
I just retired from a 20 year careet as an Anesthesiologist to start practicing Longevity and Metabolic Medicine off-grid and off the Titanic of coroorate medical care.
I currently run a DPC clinic in Southeast Idaho and my patients love it! Amazing medical model.

Dr Joel Furhman is glad to bring his patients to health. He was asked aren’t you afraid of losing patients? He said no because there are a lot of sick people. He writes lots of books too.
Yes!
I'm already on this path and I've never felt better!

He was 78 @ the time & still going strong. No meds. Do not forget the water.

I love this so much!! Going to share, share, share!!
Love this. As a nurse of 30+ years I love that he treats the patient not just the symptoms. It is nice that he spends the time with the person and not worry about the time or how many he has to see a day. This is the way it should be. 👍
