Now THIS is music!!! Always loved when the old Derek Trucks Band used to cover these two gems when they had Todd Smalley, Yonrico, Kofi Burbridge or Bill McKay etc. Those were the days! First saw Derek when he was just 15 years old and KNEW he was headed for greatness...
Did anybody else catch the switch to finger picking my Marcus at 3:46 and then the flip back to pick 10 seconds later? So fucking smooth. That’s what separates the greats. I watched this so many times and finally caught that.
When is someone going to just tell Susan to stop playing guitar and just sing. It’s so bad at this point, greatest band today and they have to fuck it up by letting Miss Plunky Plunky bink bink hammering downstrokes like she having a stroke. You’re bad at guitar Susan, voice of an angel but goddamn it’s bad.
I hope your musical journey is a vast and epic diatribe to those who don't quite live up to your level of focus. I'll be over here loving music and my life as well as everyone around me doing the same. Mrs. Tedeschi included. ✌

It's a lot different than that. Maybe just grin and bear it? Or say it in a nice way. She's working her butt off up there.
