That C5-Bb4 was amazing & so was his C#5's & his D5. That D5-F#5 was AMAZING, it sounded more mixed than anything thou, but very heady, loved it. Loved the G5 too, & the F5-G#5 AMAZING!
Thank You for doing a video for him. His lyrics are very meaningful and there's so much depth and intellectuality in his music. He has a great range! Did I mention tha this tone is beautiful?!
He's bascially a Male Anastacia, the way his voice is. His voice is awesome. Such a nice high belt range. Let's not get staarted on that falsetto/headvoice..just beautiful. Best part of his voice.
@MimiXtinaChelleKRow That's good to know. You should do a video for Elle Varner when she releases her album. I don't wanna label her but she's kinda R&B/Jazz, & she's been showing some amazing range live. I didn't know her head voice/falsetto range was so high. She can also belt very good & has a unique voice, & runs.
YAS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, Prince, Micheal(of course), Marvin, Anthony Hamiliton(my mama's fault), Rick James(not by choice, again mama XD), and some other oldschool dudes. Yes back when each male singers actually had both range annnnnd amazing technique! Nowdays they sound so whiney and I never really find any differences in timbre's, it's always the usual light high whiney voice, which I have no problem with, I'm a tenor contraltino myself, I just like power and just fullness to it ya knw?
I understand! Thankfully I grew up with all of that and the three ladies you mentioned..wait not Xtina hahaha actually I did with Xtina too. I fogrot she came out in 99 hahahahah. But hey, at least you know them now!!!
Hahahaha he still raised it, constricting the throat:) It wasn't to the sky though like typcial strainers do. Lyfe actually has control of his voice, and like you said, does it when he growls(which he should fix, becaue one can growl with neutral larynx) and gets excited hahahah. Have you heard of Craig Lewis?
@neworleans504fresh He did? That's so bad. If that's true, I hope he can be released so he can get his life back together. I hope he can keep on making music too when he comes out.
I agree. Males(at last great ones) vocalist/singers need that spotlight too!!! If you want any ideas on videos and singers I gotchu!!! I'm still relatviely new to videomaking so I don't know how to get pictures, clips, or even links bwahahahahahha
Yeah he really is underrated! Sigh. Eh Usher? I would say Robin. Just because Usher has a tendency to raise his larynx whenever he acends the scale. Lyfe does as well, but not until the extremes.
Ahh true, that's cause Robin knows his limits. His belts are good though and he can change the texture of them as well. Robin has an awesome falsetto though. Dare I say, more than enough to match Usher's!!! bwahahahahahahhaahhahaaaaaaa TBH I don't even listen to male vocalist tjese days(I listen to the old greats).
bwahahahahahahah I know how you feel!!!! They are just recycled. But I think people are starting to get the idea and therefore are starting to make different kinds of vids!!! Yes, I'm tired if the babby daddies getting shadowed!! But that's because female vocals are so much more interesting. :P. Thats why old school singers are awesome cause they had some crazy vocals

yeah, from these clips he raised it on the Bb's, B's, and C's and C#'s. Although two of those C5's were really nice!!
I actually love him too, never owned any of his albums, but I used to listen to his music a or a great amount of time.

He has an amazing tone. He's very soulful. What happened to him?
great head voice :)
Well he sounds like Lyfe Jennings and his headvoice/falsetto is IMO better than Lyfe's. WHOA! well at least you got to know them still!
