Cillian is phenomenal, Peaky Blinders is amazing; but his acting becomes stiff when compared to the diversity of the two aforementioned.
James Gandolfini shower more emotional range in a single scene than Tommy did all season. His cold and dead outlook was better and more realistic. Michael truly felt and looked like a man who lost it all and was no just surviving for revenge.
Tommy Shelby becomes a bland character when compared to the best movie gangster and the best TV gangster.

Michael fucked up and wanted to be the victim instead of manning up and fixing the problem. That's the reason Michael sealed his own fate, instead of facing the consequences he wanted an alternative route.
And Tommy was a brave man using his own family as bait in the middle of a field 😅😅😅 it's a fkn program who really cares.

Michael being the boss asked Michael(subordinate) to do x but he didn’t do it. That’s not playing victim, Tommy’s solution was for Michael to make that money back as he should’ve. That’s the consequence of making a bad business decision that goes against your superiors objection.

I think the biggest issue that Tommy had with Michael wasn’t just that he lost all the money, but he didn’t show an ounce of regret. He thinks he can walk back into the business, like nothing happened, and even go as far as to demand taking over everything.
That’s basically the moment Tommy was forced to start moving pieces around towards Michaels inevitable death

no she wasn't, she was just extremely shocked because of Tommy's words. It's a HELL of a thing to say "your unborn son will have witnessed you saying this" which is why Michael flipped out, and why Polly suddenly tried to prevent Tommy from finishing what he started saying.
Polly is never scared for Michael because of Tommy, not once in the show. Polly has a wrath greater than most characters in the show and she knows it, she has no reason to be scared for anyone because of Tommy because she knows deep down her position in the Shelby company/family is basically equal to Tommy's. Just because Polly doesn't slit throats regularly doesn't make her lesser, if anything it makes her even more powerful, because she doesn't have to use gore and violence to uphold her reputation, instead she uses words and her aura of might, which is arguably even more terrifying.

I hate Michael went this route. It all started when he didn't warn Tommy that he was going to be ambushed by that Italian gangster, he broke Tommy's trust so he sent him to America, where he met his wife who was a further bad influence on him. There was a time when Michael did good by the family and fit in, but he threw it all away by his own choices.
Which is especially shitty because Michael could have gone far and been almost as smart as Tommy.
