    Two additions according to my knowledge:
    1. Only Synology M.2 NVME drives can be used for the hard drive pool. If you use third party NVME, these drives can only be used as cache drives.
    2. Programs like Plex will be a problem on the Ryzen CPU as the iGPU does not support HEVC transcoding. The iGPU on the Celeron does, however.
    Anyhow, I still would buy the current DS7xx series for future-proofness.

      @@digital_aloha Thanks, I basically extracted that information from a German tech website, which also tested these units.
      So the NVME must be on the list of supported drives. Maybe some Seagate or Western Digitial drive is on the supported drive list. But I don't know of any at the moment.
