This is something I need done on my 2007 a3, almost exactly the same but reversed in terms of side. What's the cost on a project like this? Additionally, what's the price for a similar job from a garage that has capabilities for this work?? Does it even make sense?

If you like the car then yes it makes sense ! Depends on where you are located I think he was charged around $700 canadian per side
