Thanks for the tutorial it's great, can I just ask is there any guides or clips under the light unit that the bumper attaches too? Mines is sagging under the light unit and doesn't look like it was aligned properly.
@@SelectVehicleSpares Thanks a lot, I'm about to do this in the next hour, again great video I watched it several times to familiarise myself with doing it
I just wanted to get some idea of the work involved, cool vid very clear and straightforward… I think I will be paying someone to do it though, bit beyond my capabilities! 🙂
Parked over a kerb yesterday pulled the bumper brackets out snapped both 10 mm bracket off completely. Day of trying to epoxy the bracket on didn’t work so it’s back on but with no 10mm fixed either side
Street curb catched my bumper on the left side while I was parked and started going reverse (A3 2010) and I pulled left bumper part off broking most of the holders on that side. Can this be repaired sucessfully, or it is better to replace the whole bumper? There is no visible destruction on bumper surface, but actual holders and other things are looking pretty bad... I want to kick myself in the bu** for not seeying that high profile curb while I was parking.

@@iamneo1690 Yes, there is a small guide on the front panel underneath the headlight.

If you still have the broken pieces you may be able to find a bodyshop who can plastic weld them back on. If not then it would be a new bumper.
Could you please do a video on how to remove the entire wing mirrors? Not just glass the whole thing, including wiring.
Yes, we have a video here: ruclips.net/video/4ZLY2OfVAq0/видео.html
@@SelectVehicleSpares thank you!! Didn't realize it would be that much work 😁

How do you put it back?
Watch the video in reverse.
ahahah. I wish it was that easy. I am trying to put mine back.@@SelectVehicleSpares
How long you took to remove it?
It should be around a 20 minute job to do, maybe longer on the first time.
