Well if this is a teaser that's supposed to entice us to PAY for EXCLUSIVE content, then ffs, it sucks! Plus, the last free DoD episode, another teaser, was utterly pathetic and it was clear that Fred didn't even want to be there. See for yourself ffs.
I couldn't find a jeep truck, so I did a subaru brat instead with a custom coil kit up front and quarter eliptic rear end. shaved fenders, 35 inch grabbers, ranger axles and a 2.0 turbo diesel from a tdi jetta. elocker and Detroit, full cage and custom tube doors. already done moab, t-rex, the rattlesnake, mad dog hill and the dominator. sickest subie in western Colorado
How did they make a jeep truck boring? Guess the tripod and constant interruptions did that!

Wouldn’t have made some sense to walk around the rig so we can see it. Letting the guy who built the truck speak with out interrupting might have helped too. My apologies for the negative tone, but I would really liked to have known and seen more of that kick ass jeep.
They were trying to bait us into buying a motor trend subscription but I'm not going there.

I disagree that the front clip of the CJ-10 is ugly. It’s unique.

theTIVANshow their bad about that on these ded extras. I think they leave out the camera man and just deal with a tripod.

love them SD33T engines. I had one in this account photo. 1983 Jeep Cherokee with put in SD33t and got 35mpg. took me everywhere onroad and mostly offroad
I love this idea and I want to make one of my own but I'll have dana60 kingpin front and14 bolt rear and the jeep tub will be aluminum and a different diesel engine and transmution with a np203/205 transfer case setup, with a customers chassis and more.
Is there some reason why you can’t show what you’re talking about like the bed?? Is the camera fixed to a telephone poll?

This is probably the most boring monotone dirt everyday I have seen. No changing camera angle constant interruptions feels like they are completely uninterested in this vehicle. Even the builder seemed to lack knowledge of his own vehicle.
about a month ago I bought a 1974 jeep j 20 ( which is a truck for those who don't know) for $3500 on ebay. that's what I call a jeep truck on a budget.
Thank for the Extra but could we get and extra extra on this truck and especially what he had to do to make it a pickup

From Butler Pa Birth Place of the Jeep...Diesel is awsome, however go with Cummins!!!! Or go Big Block. 401 Backed with a T-18. Maybe 4.0 with AX-15. Gas or Diesel? Dont matter to me as long as its loud, slings mud and crawls. I aint biased either way.....Im just a Gear Head, Gear Jammer, and Most of all a True Jeeper.
