Just got to remember Steve that with age paint will vary in colour, some of it is what 40 years old or more, oxidisation, different stages of paint over the years, Owell enjoy your trip
I am really enjoying your videos their Steve and yes I will also look out for you travelling around in America Route 66 stuff as well just to let you know. From William 👍
Pity you can't get a 1980s large station wagon like the Griswold's family truckster with standard floaty suspension and ordinary handling with power seats, windows and door locks! I hope Scott can sort out that thumping noise of the engine.
You have got to laugh at events mate. Have a safe trip to Vegas, and keep an eye out for big Mark on Fremont Streetvin Begas, he livestreams from there and is known as ‘the Ither Me’. Watch out for British made deckers in Vegas too
Just a quick idea regarding the blue paint match, maybe they don't exactly match up because of patina/age? As you said some parts match and some parts don't so maybe like how old the original blue paint is, it might have faded and lightened a little with use. Loving the videos as always, enjoy the US!
Been watching this from day one and have to say its my favourite channel by far ,what a cracking job youv done reviving the old girl 1101 she looks fantastic and once the valves are redone it will be done , one question is what will she be doing once finished are you going to use for hire or personal use as can see alot of content if you hire bus and driver ect weddings hen nights or city tours as options are limitless . look foward to more great videos steve regards kev from england and enjoy your holidays mate well deserved
@@1966uk123 thanks yes we are hoping the valve will come good! Eventually I will take the buses back to their home town and use them in local events and car shows etc. just let the general public enjoy them!

Get the version without the extra white and try that. Paint can alter when curing which can take weeks, and usually darker I believe.
The step looks great i would'nt worry about the blue paint to much it's an age thing have great holiday
It’s finally here, Woo-Hoo! 🥳 🎉 About time you are being sponsored Steve 🙌🏻 Have fun on your holidays 🍻🍹 Love your work! ❤
haha thanks! There will be videos from the holiday :)
Enjoy your holiday Steve looking forward to the footage of your road trip.
@@richardhawkins6960 cheers!
Don't beat yourself up mate over the small detail, you're doing a cracking job.
@@stevel6117 thankyou!
Especially on a front step of a bus that nobody looks at. Who cares about a 5mm gap where the doors fold?
It no longer looks derelict.
@@jamesfrench7299 true. But I care. It would shit me everytime I looked at it!
@@stevestufff I know. Maybe cut up another ready to fit and then rip out this one?
@@jamesfrench7299 it’ll do for now. If I redo I’ll need to order more EVA.
Lovely!
The 'tash, as it were, might grow on us . . .
