Isn't the internet a wonderful thing. The "it works" is such a great feeling. Love the onboard ride.

Shows how vital the right contacts are with these old timers. Very specialist knowledge needed at times, especially as there's less and less as time goes on. Even an old car can be hard enough.

it certainly does. I have met some very talented people through the bus museum.

It could be the exhaust valve in the ped so al weeping mate. Sounding sweet though. My mate Paul Goldtnotpe has a 1975 AN68 with the pedestal shift, that was rebodied when 2 years old after an engine fire, it is a Roe body with National bus poppy red livery, regd MUA865=c and it lives at Dewsbury bus Museum alongside my old 1981 National 2 XUA73X. Take care mate

Welcome back Steve!! Awesome work on the bus getting those doors sorted. I'm about to do a Resto on one of my gear shifters that colour, is that, a royal blue?? That's what they used, and that Brown, wonder if I have to get that paint made up? Can't make my mind. I don't really have any of that paint left on any parts . Still sounds like a Leyland 😂. Was good of scott to help, 👍👍👍

not sure what the colours are called, but they are not the same in every bus!! Fading etc. Best to get a colour match where possible

Hey mate Welcome back to Aus. I noticed a slight rattle upstairs behind where the camera was mounted. May have been the poles on the window, one of those may have been loose. Other than that it sounds fantastic. Hope to catch up at BUSFEST. Cheers. 👍👍👍🤙🤙🤙

Wonder why the bus was put in such an awkward spot to get to in the 1st place? Wonderful job you are doing Steve, you have such patience, I would be cursing and swearing, but I wouldn't give up. Would have to make my video R rated. 🙂
