- Fish Bread rolls
~use grams for the most accurate result~
* 1 cup water
* 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast plus 1tsp sugar
* 500g( about 4 cups) Bread flour
* 50g (4tbs) sugar
* 1 teaspoon(7g) salt
* 1/3 cup oil
* 1 medium egg
Filling:
* 2 mackerel fish(washed and gutted)
* Seasoned with: chopped onion,1 teaspoon salt, crushed chicken seasoning, scotch pepper.
* 1 cup Water
* 2 tablespoons butter
* Handful chopped onion
* 1 chopped scotch bonnet pepper
* 1 chopped green pepper
* ½ teaspoon salt
* ½ teaspoon crushed chicken seasoning
* ½ teaspoon garlic powder
* ½ teaspoon paprika
~egg wash: one egg + 1 tablespoon milk~

236ml or a little less than 1/4 litre
I have a question. Do you cover the yeast when proofing it?
It helps proof faster but it’s not compulsory
@@Kikifoodies thank you for responding. I don’t even what I have been doing wrong, but my yeast wouldn’t rise when I tried proofing it with milk.
@@bisolaakanji8009 Your water has to be lukewarm on degrees between 105 and 110 Celsius. You will also need a thermometer for that. Trust me your yeast will come out perfect.
