Hi Maangchi! I have been making these buns for sandwiches and needless to say they are AWESOME! They last really well when cooled and put into a plastic ziplock bag. Two weeks I have managed to keep them outside the fridge. Anyway, last week, I had a terrible sweet tooth and decided to make a cinnamon drizzle to go over them and OMG! They were perfect! Thanks again for posting this recipe! It helps me keep my diet cleaner by using King Author or fresh ground flour to make bread for sandwiches. It's just got better now that I can make cinnamon buns!

I love this recipe. So simple and so wonderful. I confess I made these twice today. The first time I inadvertently did not put enough flour (1 cup instead of 1.5 cups) and my rolls did not rise and become fluffy. The second time they turned out exactly as pictured -so light and fluffy-and I was so delighted! Both batches were gone in minutes. My family gobbled them up with our oven “fried” chicken we had for dinner.

I love these! I actually used the dough to make Italian traditional Easter bread and it was wonderful! I added orange zest and 1 extra tablespoon of sugar to the mix then braided it into a wreath with one boiled egg nestled where the two ends come together. Final touch was a few sprinkles just before baking it. Too bad l can't figure out how to post a picture. Thank you!
I’ve made this recipe many times. Very good job Maangchi! I enjoy your videos, very much. For a slight change today, recalling the potato rolls I’ve enjoyed, I substituted 1/4 c flour for 1/4 c potato flakes. I also began using bread flour, but that’s not mandatory. I enjoy this recipe with either AP flour or Bread flour. I’ll let you know if I’ve destroyed this lovely roll. Or whether the potato substitute also worked. I love your method of making these rolls, Maangchi! Happy baking !

Hii Maangchi, thx for the great recipe. I tried that, it turned out really tasty, the texture is a bit like compound cake. Maybe my way was somewhere wrong. The dough in fact was very sticky, I added flour a bit at a time, but at the end I was exhausted from kneading, so I didnt have enough time forming into small rolls. I just made one big giant roll, but still taste wonderful.

They freeze really well but they go very fast.

I love this recipe. So simple and so wonderful. I confess I made these twice today. The first time I inadvertently did not put enough flour (1 cup instead of 1.5 cups) and my rolls did not rise and become fluffy. The second time they turned out exactly as pictured -so light and fluffy-and I was so delighted! Both batches were gone in minutes. My family gobbled them up with our oven “fried” chicken we had for dinner.

Maangchi, I just wanted you to know that I just finished making these today, and they are wonderful! They came out so golden brown on top but super fluffy inside, and they're a lot more filling than they look. Me and my boyfriend started eating them with your strawberry jam I had already made in the fridge and we got full off of 2 of them. definitely something I will make again. Maangchi Hi! My apologies for posting on a video with so many comments, but I wanted to ask if the dough would still be the same if I quadruple the recipe? My aunt (who is Korean) & uncle (who is American) are coming to visit this summer & I'd love to make this for her. Six rolls would disappear in a heartbeat, so I'll have to make much more, but I know bread can be temperamental & sometimes just doubling the recipe doesn't work- so I wanted to ask.

I love these! I actually used the dough to make Italian traditional Easter bread and it was wonderful! I added orange zest and 1 extra tablespoon of sugar to the mix then braided it into a wreath with one boiled egg nestled where the two ends come together. Final touch was a few sprinkles just before baking it. Too bad l can't figure out how to post a picture. Thank you!

I’ve made this recipe many times. Very good job Maangchi! I enjoy your videos, very much. For a slight change today, recalling the potato rolls I’ve enjoyed, I substituted 1/4 c flour for 1/4 c potato flakes. I also began using bread flour, but that’s not mandatory. I enjoy this recipe with either AP flour or Bread flour. I’ll let you know if I’ve destroyed this lovely roll. Or whether the potato substitute also worked. I love your method of making these rolls, Maangchi! Happy baking !

Hii Maangchi, thx for the great recipe. I tried that, it turned out really tasty, the texture is a bit like compound cake. Maybe my way was somewhere wrong. The dough in fact was very sticky, I added flour a bit at a time, but at the end I was exhausted from kneading, so I didnt have enough time forming into small rolls. I just made one big giant roll, but still taste wonderful.
I've been making these for years and they are wonderful.
