You can have garlic infused oil because that affects the fodmap levels, and you can have the green bits off spring onions. Not sure about the sausages and beans though.
@@Juantjw hi. First and very important I am not expert, and I only speak from my experience. Unlike you I gained 20 kg over 2 years since I was diagnosed with IBS. I've been having major stomach issues for months now and didn't understand why. I did some research and think it may be IBS. While I wait for a dr appointment I'm going to try to change how I eat to hopefully get some relief. I found your channel and I'm so grateful I did. The low fodmap diet is super overwhelming but your recipes look delicious. Thank you!
I went to the doctor they kept asking me was it just at the top of my stomach and i was saying yes but i was in so much pain i couldnt think straight. They said acid reflux as usual. I went back twice in one day the doc said if not better come back. The second time they game me dicyclomine and it helped me. So when i left i asked for a prescription of that. Later i looked it up says its for IBS. I saw so many things i specifically ate and had a trigger or bout. Doctor didnt say i have ibs but i can tell and have already changed my diet and so far its helping alot. Along with those dicyclomine for when i mess up. So i guess we're our own doctors till we get to a real one. 👍🏾✌🏾
Just found out I have IBS. I love food and this is like death sentence for me. But your intro with your schnauzer already made me feel better (I have two). Thanks for sharing the recipes !
I know this might be corny but I started a journal to document my flare ups. For me it was when I went through some kind of stressful event or when my anxiety kicked in which made my IBS extreme. Since any change in bowel movement could be the sign of something very serious I went through all kinds of scans and tests which added to my anxiety and IBS. After finding out nothing was seriously wrong I’ve gotten treatment for my depression/ anxiety and I haven’t had a flare up yet. I’ve also started the fodmap diet as well which I believe has helped. I also stopped snacking on sugar and chips and have lost almost 20 pounds. While I don’t believe IBS can be cured it can be controlled, good luck to you all!

Dairy/cheese and sausage will absolutely destroy me as someone with IBS so I don’t consider these dishes low FODMAP. I could see the sausage being ok if there are no FODMAP spices in it - e.g. you grind and case the meat yourself.

I apparently have a mystery disease according to the GI Dr's. After being in the hospital for two weeks and every test imaginable, I am no further ahead than when I started. I have painful inflammation in my colon and originally in my stomach as well. The only thing that brings any relief is an antihistamine called hydroxizine. The problem is it has side affects like around the clock drowsiness. Since getting discharged from the hospital I have been eating gluten free and low histamine foods. It seems to help a little but its hard to tell if its the drug or the eating better. I know the drug works for the inflammation because it worked in the hospital on a liquid diet. The diet is helping me lose weight at very least. This thing I have resembles ibs in many ways. It also is directly linked to unbearable anxiety which is what the hydroxizine was originally prescribed for. Thanks for the videos.
