Early in the video, a man commented that he wished every Catholic could be exposed to this mass. I am blessed to have an ICKSP church in Munster, my neighbouring province. I pass many, many Novus Ordo churches to get to mass. Why? For sanctifying grace, I need, we all need, the sacraments.
The reverend fathers at ICKSP are uncompromising in ensuring their congregation worship and receive the sacraments in the purest, most sacred way possible. Their reverence for the Holy Eucharist is a sermon in itself. It is not only the priests, but the congregation and everyone associated within the celebration of the mass, that live this sermon. If you want to understand the sacraments of Confession and the Holy Eucharist, go to a Latin mass, and if at all possible go to a solemn mass celebrated by the ICKSP.

The Institute is sending two priests (and very likely some nuns) to head our TLM parish in my city and I’m so excited. I’ll miss my current priest, especially since it’s not every day you find diocesan priests who solely offer the TLM but he’s being reassigned. Please pray for him as well as our new priests and nuns.

This is the Church of the future. Holy, pious, devout, traditional, young families and priests. The Vatican II crowd is dying off and going to their reward. The gates of hell shall not prevail against Holy Mother the Church.

@dorianlelong. One of the Canons visiting our ICKSP oratory stated last week that their called the Institute of Blue which delighted them because the blue is representive of Our Blessed Mother Mary 🙏, the Patroness of their Apostolate consecrated to Her.

What version of the Sanctus is played at the beginning?
So it's kind of a mixture. It's the Sanctus XI "Orbis Factor" from the Gregorian Chant Liber. So it's pretty traditional. But what makes this version special is that there is a drone being held on the starting note, which is sustained throughout, AND organum is added (which means singing the melody at a 4th or 5th below parallel with the melody).

well... not true that ALL masses were said this way before 1962... there were more liturgical rites than this one over the 2018 years.
i love the extraordinary form and this institute.
but that comment doesnt acknowledge the development of the liturgy since Christ ascended.
Holy Mary is the closest being to God!!! and of course we can submit ourselves before God, be we cannot present ourselves or talk to him in the way Holy Mary can

A shame that the modern altar can't be temporarily moved away during this Mass. It acts as a visual barrier between the people and the priest at the altar.

Fr. Francisco Nahoe is a Franciscan, not a Dominican. He visits from time to time, and we are very blessed to have him. We do have a Dominican, also, from time to time, and are always grateful when he is here.
Beautiful mass .that is what people are looking for, they want to feel the presence of GOD in their life . when you Go to A mass like these you fell exactly that !!! when you go to the new mass you feel empty , you did not feel Gods presence it all . so why go you did not get any thing out of it anyway . and those horrible services where they have the priest dancing , you seriously have to do everything you can not to laugh , are you really going to feel GOD,S presence there ?
I love and prefer the Tridentine Mass, but why do so many traditionalist priests wear the Roman chasuble as a kind of "uniform" to identify themselves AS traditionalists? Why never the gothic chasuble? The Roman chasuble actually represents a departure FROM tradition. Several centuries ago, gothic chasubles worn my high ranking clergy became so stiff with ornament that priests had trouble moving in them. Instead of simplifying, the solution to this problem was to cut away the sides! This of course allowed the that which had been hidden beneath it to be gussied up with lace and bling as well. The new "style" caught on, and parish priests copied it. At least one pope decried the pared down chasuble, and St. Charles Borromeo criticized it too. Please traditonalists priests: wear the gothic chasuble too?
