"Ad Maiorem Dei Gloriam"!
Breathtaking, for a TLM Catholic who remembers!
Awesome. I go to the Oratory in Green Bay🥰😇
Deo Gratias! Beautiful video!
thank you for all of your content
Great job, an excellent video!
splendid liturgy.
Hello ICKSP and DeSales Studio! I really loved the beautiful chant shown in the beginning before the Miserere, which is named in the description as "Carolingian Invocations: Seminary of the Institute of Christ the King."
I couldn't find any other recording of this online, is this some chant that has been lost to time save for the Institute's Seminary? Would Gricigliano happen to have it in a CD for sale?
Thank you!
Thank you! I have found it! It is also called the "Carolingian acclamations"
Why the solemn high mass on the Resurrection Sunday is not included?
I don't believe there were any changes to the Easter Mass only the tridiuum.
@@christopherpavesi7245 Still, it‘s celebrated according to Novus ordo missae - that‘s a huge change in itself.
@@larrygraysmith8411 I meant the changes to pre 1955 Holy Week. Palm Sunday and the Tridiuum were changed as well as some of the daily gospels during the week being shortened but I think Easter was left untuched.
@@christopherpavesi7245 Oh, thanks for the clarification.
Thank You this is so beautiful
They use the Liber usualis?
Yes, but they have permission to use the pre- Pius XII reform Holy Week.
@@ransomcoates546 Is that something you need permission for?
@@williamofdallas Yes, and it was generously granted under Benedict. I don’t know what the situation is now, although I saw pictures from the Fraternity church in Rome that showed the triple candles at the Vigil liturgy.
I belive ICKSP has blanket privilege to offer the pre 1955 Holy week. Pope Francis gave the FSSP a 3 year allowance but I don't think that has been renewed.
@@christopherpavesi7245Do you know if the ICKSP in Rome do it?😂 I am in Rome the whole holy week 2024 . Any idea where I can find out?
Does the icksp always do Pre-55 Holy Week?
Could someone please explain the action performed at 6:50 ?
The Blessed Sacrament is retrieved from the Urn in which the Blessed Sacrament reposes from Holy Thursday to Good Friday. It is usually a tabernacle for a side chapel, but here they correctly use an urn.
@@vincentloutkovnguyen1428 Fascinating. Thank you for the response.
The Good Friday prayers concerning the Jews has thankfully been improved in the 1962 missal.
