What a great joy I feel in my heart. I am being called to the priesthood. I really love the institute but I am also discerning my vocation in the company of Jesus. Please pray for my vocation.

What amazes me is that even in this day and age men are brave enough to shun the modern world's pleasures to choose a life of sacrifice (which actually is another word for LOVE) all for the glory of GOD.

These is absolutely a Beautiful service . full of reverence for GOD, you can feel the presence of GOD, very holy it inspires you to go to church .unlike the garbage of the new mass ,and those monstrosities they have for churches .you could not feel the presence of GOD even if your life depended on it . I guess that,s why they have all those empty churches.
I so agree with you. The devil got involved in Vatican II when they changed the Latin Mass to this Ordo mass. You and me realize the Huge difference BUT Im one of the lucky ones as I now ATTEND the Original Latin Mass and I cannot go to the new mass anymore. I am so grateful to GOD for sending me to the Latin Mass. It's like being in HEAVEN during the High Mass. AMEN. Hope you find one in your Region...God Bless, Anne

1967 was the first year of all English Missal with the Priest or Bishop facing the people permanently.
These "new Rites" appeared one year AFTER this so called 1967 Missal.

I do see the beauty of the liturgy! I do see the reverence and dignity of the sacrament! Now, I wonder about the time!!! Sadly, we are not in 1950. Sadly those beautiful days are gone. We are in 2019. There is not doubt that something needs to get better in our liturgies and the past can give us an idea. But living in the past is that the answer? a cardinal with a long cape? I think we need to find some balance between past and present. Sorry, if I offend someone.

Many of us dont see it as a problem. In fact we are happy that these cardinals are reviving or at least sustaining the lost traditions. Too much has been lost ever since Vatican II and enough is enough.

There was only ONE CHURH present in the world the first 1054 years of Christianity! Do you think there was Salvation for those Christians belonging to that Church that was created the day of Pentecost by the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:1-4)?
Paul was very lucid as to a certain characteristic of the Church none negotiable that was delivered by the Holy Spirit. If Salvation Truth had to be based on one verse of the Holy bible alone, it would be the verse spoken by Paul to the Ephesians 4:5 “5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism”.

Leaves me cold. Same old heirarchial male dominated rituals. Stuck in the past I'm afraid but for those who fear change this is the way it will continue to be. Sad that half the faithful aren't represented at all in these rituals.
I go to an ICKSP parish and love these ancient “male dominated” rituals. I’m a female and part of the laity. The Mass is about Christ, not me. It’s one of the reasons why I’ve struggled to be recollected in the Novus Ordo; I’m not denying its validity, but I often feel like the standards are lowered in every way from plain priestly vestments to bland liturgical art/bad architecture, from uninspiring music to watered down theology in homilies. Many Novus Ordo parishes are emptying. That doesn’t mean that the form of the Mass is the cause, but it doesn’t seem to be helping parishes thrive, either. I don’t see what is so bad about celebrating the Mass experienced by centuries of saints.

It´s a costume drama! Pomp and ceremony and ritual. Jesus was poor. Jesus did not dress up in robes like he was in the theater. This is a far, far departure from the Jesus of the bible. It is time to take off the dresses and the colored costumes and go out into the world and help people.
