@jocelyne taylor You would be wise to save your money ,I got the skin set and I swatched them, the colors are ALL different than advertised or the way they look in pictures, especially the caps, not a single one matches the colors. They are only for medium-dark and dark skin, and the ones that look light beige/cream in the pictures they are actually yellow and greenish yellow, who had green skin? Then the peach is nice but still too dark. I am extremely disappointed, I wouldn’t mind the dark colors,but it should be balanced, they have 10 browns,4 of them very dark and the rest is medium. Very misleading, the advertising,the pictures, everything,and I guess she is representing them,coloring for them and I don’t want to say more,just very misleading.I never bought Ohuhu before, the brush nib is pretty nice, maybe the 48 or 72 set is more useful, but even those from what I heard from others they concentrate on dark colors,and for some reason a lot of greens. I was excited about the skin tones, but what you see and what you get are very different things. I can’t return them,because alcohol products can’t be returned, I’m glad it wasn’t more expensive.
They don't look that bad! It appears most of them are meant for base colors, while the other vibrant ones seem to be mild enhancing touchups. But either way, it just depends on the individual artist using them. People like em' vibrant, people like em' dull.
Whsn I saw the caps on the markers I was a little mad about the lack of any really dark skin tones but once you swatched them I was pleasantly surprised!
These are meant to be used in a more comic 2 tone style. Not the way a lot of artists would use them. I also think they're used for undertones. I'd love to see how I'd use these

Maybe the yellow is intended for underneath? I may try putting a pale yellow under other tones to see if it works. Other than the mislabeled pink and oddness of the yellows it seems like a decent set. Quite good for the price. I hope it’s great for many people. Fun video thanks.

The blonde character (with the braid, but also the other one you colored) definitely looks the best overall. I'd agree with another comment that most of these feel to o vibrant, mainly compared to the other colors used for each character.

I think I would have personally layered a peachy color over the YR6 to mute the yellow a tiny bit.. that way it's still obviously a more yellow/warm undertone skin color, but it'd also make it look a bit more realistic and less simpson-y.
The "weird" colors are meant to be undertones or be blended into the other colors to balance out other undertones. Thanks why some skintone sets even come with shades of light green or vibrant pinks or oranges. It's the same as color correcting in makeup, they help dull other tones or give them depth. You obviously wouldn't color most skin straight green, but if you want to make a more neutral tone when you only have a strong pink undertoned marker, you can blend a very light green into it to make it more neutral. I like that they included the oddball colors, it actually is very beneficial.

I'm glad there's colors for darker skin that aren't too ashy or orange. And the yellows are really good for Asians and people of colors undertones or highlights.
I honestly bought a set of copic ciaos just today because I didnt have much faith in ohuhu for light tones and uh yeah What I bought has a nice mix for not being many colors
For those love you saying I don't get why there's yellows in SKIN set bag, let me make it clear that these are undertones and some people have yellow tint to their skin and it depends on style it also depends how you color and what colors you use for skin.Like for me instead of using the yellow for a undertone sometimes I might use it as the flat out color of their skin. I'm using me as an example 🤣

I’m constantly disappointed by the “variety” in skin tone colors that brands create. They have plenty of variety for the lighter end of the spectrum of skin tones and neglect the medium to darkest possible skin tone variations.😒 I wish they would try harder

Yes! They just sent me the skin tones and I was laughing with my husband about the black brown color. I was so confused!! 🤣

I just rewatched this and I noticed Ohuhu used your art for their amazon site.
They use it on their website too, I just went to check the markers out after watching and was surprised to see the artwork

There are actually some really good light colors in the original ohuhu markers, like 27, 29 and some of the grays.
