Don & The Goodtimes Turn On ** Stereo 1964 (Slight Remaster)

See Wikipedia for the particulars on this group. These guys were a popular dance hall attraction from Portland, Oregon. Here on Turn On they are still in the primal mode of the early 60's Pacific Northwest rock ideology but feature a cool horn section on this track. They would soon change to meet the demands of post Beatle invasion which changed the entire musical landscape for these bands. "Turn On" was released on the A-side of the band's debut single.
Leader and keyboardist, Don Gallucci (originally from The Kingsmen), would go on to produce The Stooges of all things.
