WORST Charger Upgrades

- Dodge Charger or Challenger upgrades that are HATED (throttle response device, pedal commander, roar pedal or PedalBox) & Loved within the community. Here is a list of 5 upgrades that were met with a lot of hate & another list of 5 upgrades that had a ton of support. The Charger 6.5L 397 Twin-Turbo Widebody R/T has had many upgrades to get to this point. Both Long & Short Tube Headers - multiple camshaft upgrades & catback exhausts. Which were the most hated upgrades & which were loved!
Let me know what you think of the lists! Pedal Commander, Widebody Kit, Car Wrap, Shorty Headers....
#Dodge #Challenger #Charger
My build has been called "Rice" many times.
Which means "Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement"
Bullshit, it's the real deal.
Your cars not 🍚 🤣. Rice would be neon lights all over, stickers covering it, a big tow hook, Kirky seats, camber, fart cans, burble tunes, and a whole lot of pole smoking 🤣. It’s all good man it’s like that everywhere in every club and every car meet. It’s always nice car…….but……. Insert penis. No compliment comes and if it does it’s followed by but. Everybody’s a critic but drives a pos or has some shop do all the work for them.
Dude, you don't have stickers down the door, soccer ball sized muffler tips and an A pillar full of gauges that don't do anything.
It’s alright Big Dawg it’s your car at the end of the day
So true. I'm having fun with it, that's all that matters.
Yeap 😂 everyone online hates on any dodge challenger/charger you have
Nah, man. You put your money where your desire was. I've watched you build this car from stock. It's been a pleasure and it's gotten me to think outside the box on building my Scat Pack out, differently. Piece by piece.
Kudos!
Nice! Glad some of these videos have been helpful. I really appreciate the support & I hope you keep building up that 392.
Best channel out. You basically showcase what all these 5.7 guys can do. If I did it over I'd pass on the scat pack and go rt heavy modified.
Can't go wrong with a 392. Great starting point to do a build. Thanks man, def appreciate the support.
I love all those mods. You see mine and I hear the same thing too. They love the Demon hood on my Scat. Man do what you want with your car. XMOD sounds like the next move for my car.
You're right! Your $$$, you can do what you want. That's what keeps all this entertaining in my opinion. Oh man the down shifts on that Xmod exhaust sound so amazing!!! You will love it
Love all your upgrades and modifications you have done to your Charger so far! I went with a Roar Pedal for my Challenger and love it. I turned it off once and hated how bogged down it felt after keeping mine set in race mode 24/7! Keep the awesome vids coming.
I've loved watching the progression over the last few years. Thanks for taking us along for the ride and can't wait to see what you have planned for the future. Great content as always.
Plenty more to come, I can't wait to get the R/T back! Thank you for supporting the channel & the journey of the R/T. Def appreciate it
Man it's amazing how far Blue has come. I love the clean look it has now. What a beast.👍
It's been a lot of fun! Plenty more to come once we get OLD BLUE back. Thank you for supporting the journey from the beginning
Im still surprised people hate on the pedal commander so much. Its such a great device
I never understood it either. It made my R/T so much fun when that thing was on sport +
Great Video !!!
Watching this video is like going back through memory of the channel from the start and the modifications done tonyour car which for sure inspired many HEMI owners to follow. I did many modifications to my 5.7 based on your videos and recommendations 👍
Memory lane! Thanks man for watching & supporting the channel from the early days. Always greatly appreciated
Omg. The pedal commander. Between you and Vinny. Lmao it was too funny.
Those pedal commander reaction videos used to crack me up hahaha! Vin def had a great reaction
I would love to do some of the engine mods but unfortunately I’m living in California for now and god forbid we want to add performance to our engines, I know there’s way’s around it but for now I keep it mostly stock, keep doing what you’re doing brother 👍😁
I hear you man. Once you're out of there or find some loop holes you can mod away. Thanks man for the support - def appreciate it.
I hear you, this state is pure concentrated ASS for car guys. The only upside is that I'm only about 35 miles away from Sears Point, and I drive by it on my way to work on Mare Island every day. If I get my Barracuda fixed up this winter, I may be able to do some racing on Saturdays, or Weds night Drags.
I still remember watching your pedal commander videos and enjoying your reaction, because I had that also. lol. That said, you have come a long way with that car and I’m happy for you. Enjoy. Life is better with a Hemi 😊😊
That Pedal Commander had so many people cracking up! It seriously was so much fun to mess around with & watch other people try it. Thank you for supporting the channel, def appreciate it
Shorty headers are normally used to make custom turbo manifolds in the LS world. Don't see why you can't do it with a Hemi. At the end of the day, it's you who is building the car to be what you envision. I've gotten grief for using EFI and a 5.9 Magnum in my 68 Dart
I think there's multiple reasons, but I think clearance & spacing is why Shorties are mostly used on Turbos setups. Either way, like you said it's all about your goals & who you're working with. No matter what you have, someone will have an issue with something. I've learned that along the way.
@@RTLife very true. Shorty headers usually help turbos spool up quicker since exhaust gasses don't have to travel as far and allow it to equalize back pressure due to less volume to fill before the exhaust gasses work it's way out of the hot side of the turbo. My usual response to haters is "Lemme use YOUR credit card for ME to build MY car how YOU want it done."
It’s just amazing what you’ve done to the car over the years I’m impressed everybody’s gonna have an opinion most people that do don’t even have a Mopar😂
SO true. I've learned to take the good with the bad. Some times I screw with the nay sayers for my own entertainment lol. When you load up videos, you see some silly comments - as you know!
The only thing I absolutely hate is my 06 heads with the EGR, God I
wish I could shit can those heads
for a upgrade without having the
money light on!! I love your channel,
keep up the great work!! Oh yeah I
love your Blue Charger!!!
Thanks man, I def appreciate it. My R/T build is going to keep progressing!
A committed fan base at the end of the day. Each to own. You still got your Beast at end of the day. Informative content you give us at the end of the day brotha.🤘
Thanks man, def appreciate it. Going to keep modding & having fun with this R/T.
I'm surprised that people didn't dig the stroker kit everybody's been doing it for decades great way to get big gains plus a cam NA without going the forced induction route. I do like the 345 hemi badge a little ricey but cool
I really thought everyone was going to be on board with the stroker, guess a lot of people are attached to the 345 displacement. Either way, I have no regrets with anything. It's been a ton of fun & there's still a lot more to come.
I loved the Bee logo, gave you a character an distinguished you from the rest. Agree with short to long headers. Magnaflow exhaust a plus. You gave us the example of having a street an racing performance car, a great job of both worlds. Myself I'm street only for my truck, love your views for using yours for street an racing.
The bee made the Charger look like Venom in my opinion, I loved it. Either way, I'm glad I did all these upgrades. Learning 1st hand is great & allowed me to see the positives/negatives of the upgrades. Thank you for the support - always appreciate it!
You said it right.. the goalpost is always moving. After every upgrade, someone tries to tell me how to spend MY money. I still get comments and dms like that even after I bought my Hellcat. I ignore those people now
yah it gets to a point where you just stop engaging & trying to justify yourself. Screw it, either you get it or you don't.
Exhaust was my favorite ❤️ It came with so many options!!!
That exhaust was a game changer! It sounded so damn good while downshifting
LOVE what you done to to your car. ALL OF IT. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you very much! I know the silver slutt is looking MEAN lately. Menacing
I can't believe people lost their minds over stroking the 5.7 rotf. I didn't like the Bee wrap though, everything else was a great add, especially the stroker kit! On another note, hope your move to our great state of Florida has been as awesome as your build.
I couldn't believe the negative on the stroker either. Kind of took me by surprised how many were upset it no longer had a 345 displacement. I figured it was really common for SRT's to do it, so many would find it interesting! Either way, no regrets on my end. It's been a lot of fun modding
BTW I love FL - my family has been so much happier down here in the sunshine state.
@@RTLife My family and I left Levittown Long Island almost 33 years ago, not one of us could not imagine moving back. Not going to lie though, I still miss the bread and baked goods LOL. Thankfully, I have an Umberto's of Long Island pizza just a few miles north of my home. 😁
Glad you and your family found happiness in the land of freedom, and I wish you continued success with the channel!
love everything you have done. Haters just make you stronger they are needed to show you have what it takes to be you. Thank you for all you have done. Kept it up!!!
No regrets on my end, it's been a ton of fun upgrading/modding this R/T. Learned a lot along the way - thank you, def appreciate the support
Well I love my shorty . And my warp . And my hurst 3” cat-back . There’s haters .
You bulid it your way . Hope all is well
So true!!! That's what makes all of this interesting & fun. I like your build as well man
Your rig is a great-looking and running car!
I use the factory SRT "shorty" headers on my Challenger with 2015-current SRT mid pipes, picked up a heckuva good mid and top end charge and it also keeps it emissions legal because it uses factory parts with 02 sensors in stock locations. LT headers may give a few additional ponies but the tuning headaches with location of the rear 02 sensors are not worth it to me.
Pedal Commander? Mine took a dump on me during a road trip and had to stop on the road and clear about 8 DTC's, then disconnect the P.C. and ultimately tossed it in a dumpster the next day. I fixed throttle response with my Diablosport tuner, gave it 20% quicker and it runs great, same mod done on my '14 Chrysler 300C hemi car. That car uses JBA shorties on it and both cars use a ported throttle body from Fastman, they do work well and run real crisp. Challenger uses a Flowmaster SRT 3" cat back exhaust, and my Chrysler uses the factory R/T Challenger exhaust(quiet but effective). I run 180 F. thermostats in both cars with great results too.
My Challenger returns me 24-27 mpg on the highway(manual trans), and the Chrysler(heavier car w/automatic)does about 22-24 mpg with the dreaded MDS system shut off.
Great video, thanks man!
A lot of people don't realize how much HP/Torque the SRT exhaust manifolds will add. It's a great option for 5.7L guys esp. if you can get it used for a solid price. I def hear you on that Long tubes - that was my thoughts as well. I wanted a direct bolt on at that point & it helped with performance. Keep building & enjoying that Hemi
@@RTLife yep! The Chrysler is known as "Sleeper" now. Both cars sure run great.
Hey man
You do you and every one else need to do them. Not to bash anyone but at the end of the day it's your money. I think it has all been great videos and it seemed to be the cost effective way to get what you want and the way you want it to look.
Great videos man
100% agree. It has been a lot of fun trying all these upgrades & finding out what it actually does in regards to HP/Torque & driver experience. No regrets on my end. Thanks man, always appreciate the support
@@RTLife i traded my v6 charger, great looking Tored with 72 lime green highlights, for a Alfa Romeo Stelvio. I do miss the look and attention of the car until i was searched at 430 in the morning at work because of mistaken car. Thought that was at the time. Alfa, if i can get to the mountains more often, will be so much more fun hitting the curves. Charger wad just a little too heavy but was a great ride.
Keep making videos
Definitely liked the twin turbo setup
I was surprised how there was almost 0 negative comments or nay sayers going twin turbo. I'm glad I went in that direction as well - it's been a lot of fun.
I have a 2022 scat pack, six speed manual. The pedal commander makes all the difference in the world. I love it.
People forget that The 392 Hemi is an RT too.
So true. The 392 Scatpack is an R/T
I thought the mods discussed would be catch cans, skip shift eliminator, etc. You guys are way above my pay grade... Good info though.
LOL - Thanks man, Def appreciate the support
@@RTLife absolutely, love your content 👍
I learned alot from your build you video content was always helpful in making choices for whats next to do. And even your dont do. Your car is awesome looking from the bee to now. In the end you have inspired builds and helped keep it a live i share you kinks to many mopar guys that ask where i got my information you b mason red hemi and mac a great team thank you
Those guys def know there stuff! I really appreciate you sharing these videos & helping the channel continue growing. The journey has only just begun!
Yo R/T Life first of all you came a long way with your R/T and it will always be a R/T. You put in so much work, time, and money into your car that it’s a icon. You will get hated on what you do regardless that’s just life but always keep in mind ITS YOUR CAR fuck what anyone has to say, you build it the way you want it, it’s your vision and screw what others has to say. Just keep doing what you do best bro the real ones got your back 💪🏾
100% agree with on that. My money, my car & I can mod it as I see fit. I've really enjoyed learning & experiencing 1st hand how all these upgrades worked. What was the downside & upside of each. I appreciate the support man, thank you.
Bee looks awesome and shorties are th only way if your lowered. Can't go wrong with turbos.
I liked that Bee - looked similar to Venom. The shorty headers were a nice upgrade & I'm glad I did it because they work perfect for my turbos
Great video bro! Thank you for the great content like always! 💯
Going to keep modding & having fun with it! Thanks man for the support
I hated the middle whickerbill on your factory spoiler lol But I've followed you from the beginning & love that you've kept & upgraded the same car.
You were not alone on that! So many hated it. I loved it so much even more with the widebody kit hahaa. Either way - gone now so it was fun while i had it.
I'm really surprised about the hood in the number 1 love it spot - I love it, but I would have thought a lot of people would have had a problem with it because it's such a striking deviation from stock. Definitely agree with the PC in the top hated spot, but I think the wickerbill shoulda made the hated list. Oh man, you took so much crap for that thing!
That little wickerbill did get so much hate hahaha! So many people were happy to see that things go. I loved it even with the widebody kit on. The hood surprised me to - either people were holding their tongue about it or everyone just was on board with liking it. Not sure
So you kept the original shorty headers on, even with all that other work? That's so awesome. I'm eventually doing those myself despite what everyone says 🔥
I ended up swapping the shorties back on when I went with the turbo setup. The long tubes took up to much space, we needed more clearance/space. The Shorty headers made a difference, I don't care what others say. I have the dyno slips to prove it!
ruclips.net/video/8mVxoc79X4M/видео.html
I say, fuk the haters. Your ride is a badass car and you've shared everything with us from the start and you didn't have too. I think quite a few people gained a lot of knowledge from your content. Keep it up man!!🤘🤘
Thanks man! It's been a lot of fun & wow did I learn a lot along the way. I really appreciate the support
I thought the bee was cool, but you can’t please everybody, so go with what you like. 😎😎😎😎
So true! I've learned along the way, no matter what you do someone will not like it. Either way, I enjoy doing this & will continue modding the R/T
The evolution of your car through the time you’ve seemed to have it is absolutely incredible. I’m relatively new the the mopar life myself with a 14’ RT AWD Max. Excited for the journey!
One of my favorite visual mods you did it's that widebody ❤️🔥💯💯💯🔥
That's one of my favorite as well. Transformed the R/T into almost a whole new looking ride. No regrets on my end!
Well the pedal commander is always my go to. I ordered my PC the day I bought my 5.7 and I don't remember the feeling of driving the car stock...
Nothing wrong with your bee wrap nor wide body kit.
I really like both options. They make the Charger pop from the crowd
That car has come a loooong way. I been there from the start.
yah you have. Been here since the start man. Thank you for supporting the channel from the early days!
Good video bro good content. Nice list for both ends. 👌
Has been a lot of fun doing all of them. You find out 1st hand the positives/negatives of each. Thanks man - hope all is good on your end.
@R/T Life all is always good here brother. Just gotta come defend my EVs from time to time but i still always support the content. 🦾
Never understood the hate for the Peddle Commander on a 5.7
Put one on my 2020 TA and it made a world of difference. Completely chanfed the driving experience. It is NOT the same as just smashing the throttle peddle.
100% agree. The people that never used it are the ones that had an issue with it. That thing was a game changer.
What about the rear-end upgrade? I upgraded my R/T to a 3.09 LSD and I absolutely love it. I see that yours isn’t stock anymore, but I don’t know which gears u went with.
Not much negative feedback on that 3.09 limited slip - most thought I should go with shorter gearing to help my 0-60+ times. Was a great upgrade - def a no brainer for 5.7 guys
Your car, your choice…the haters can stuff it.
100% agree on that
Im disappointed by Dodge that they didn’t offer the RT a widebody kit. They offered the GT the SRT look. Love your Charger man.
Been here since the "You should have got a real car" and loved every thing you've done to blue babe.
you've been here since the beginning. I really appreciate the support from the start, helped the channel get to this point. Thank you
@@RTLife Thank you believe it or not you've helped me by modifying blue babe and not stopping.
Your car your BUILD. Your money
and time into what you have is going to get my respect for the building of your car. I have a super charger on a
Six cylinder GT Charger. And you think you have issues on the way you
have built your car???. I respect your opinion and build of your car. I can not afford what you have but It's ok.
I like being different from the others.
Have you been reluctant to add up ALL your receipts since you purchased the car? I personally know what it's like to have a custom vehicle project get so advanced I stopped counting the money invested, this would be either including the price of the vehicle, or just the added on items/labor prices. Just curious.
The amount of $$$ spend on this R/T is more then the R/T is worth. If I had to ballpark everything currently on the R/T it would be around $40k-50k in parts/labor once I get it back again. Right now you can get a used R/T for $30k with low miles - so my R/T is worth more parted out then together LOL
@@RTLife I remember seeing a few seconds segment of a Jay Leno RUclips video where he said to another guy something like you put $50K into restoring a car only to sell it for $25K.Even if you are capable of doing all or most of the labor yourself, you are VERY lucky to make a slim 10%-15% profit if you decide to sell it. In my opinion, breaking even is a win.
@@stevesmith6236 yah this is def a big loss if I decided to sell my R/T. That being said, I've made my mind up a long time ago this Blue R/T will be in my garage until I'm 6' under. I'm going to be that old guy in a family sedan with a ton of HP in 20-30 years at meets lol
@@RTLife Cool!
Woohoooo. I caught a release!!
LOL! It's been a while since seeing you 1st!!! Nicely done
Shorty headers are great when the old cast irons break
The rap helps and the wide body helps you stand out
The stroker kit will easily out perform a hellcat and be more reliable and have less insurance rates because they think its still a 5.7
And the pedal commander is great for better throttle response cus the throttle is delayed from the factory and is not like a traditional throttle cable
It sounds crazy when you say that people are not satisfied with certain mods. Think about that, they are not satisfied with what you did to "your" car!....that you paid for.
hahhaa it does sound really funny when you phrase it like that. Guess people just like to start drama with negative comments.
Love your channel man been watching you since about 10k i had a base model v6 08 and eventually i got my 07 plum crazy daytona and have been modding it since feels good to keep up or beat my buddys scats at work and i’m the only one without a 500+ car payment got her for 7500$
#1.. Cold Air Intake 😂
LOL! The Cold Air Intake is the most debated topic ever. That should've made it on the list
Haters doing what they do best, which is just talk and hate. Its your car you can do as you pleased.
You're 100% right on that.
Still 345 based hemi love the engine build
I’ve never understood the wide body hate. People have been doing wide body kits for a long time. It’s ridiculous that people think wide body kits are a new thing 😂
Right! Widebody kits have been around since fast & furious days. I've always loved the look & figured once something was available for the Charger, I'd consider it. No regrets on my end
@@RTLife looks good btw 🔥🔥
So for the most reliable boost option you prefer the twin turbo? Cause I was thinking of boosting my 5.7
I like the twin turbo option because it's the most efficient forced air option at making power. The ceiling is also very high with turbos. The issue is the price tag vs supercharger. Ends up costing a lot more
Brother this is your car so enjoy it and don’t pay too much attention to the haters
Thanks man - I'm going to keep modding & having fun with it. Plenty more to come. I appreciate the support
Shorties on a turbo build make sense tho, keep the turbo close and hot
We wanted to keep it around where the cats would sit. Also they're tucked up nicely so poor road conditions are less likely to damage them.
Again I have a 07 Charger RT still trying to figure it out what to replace because I have other mechanics that aren’t passionate about the mods like me just want to discourage me.
Don't let others bring you down. It's a shame that so many people try doing that crap to others. Mod up that R/T & have fun!
I love the mod you have done i want to get me a r/t very very soon and i got big plans for a lot of upgrades myself and when tht day come i would like to get a supercharger and i want to put a 6.2litter and doing a lot to it but maybe you could be a sponsor one for me or point me in the right direction but dont mind the hate the throw your way bc i got plans for a r/t myself
Hey now! I think I criticized your hood. I think my major concern was water getting in the engine compartment. That was a couple years ago though I think.
Living in Commiefornia, I can't upgrade my Scat with nice things like full length headers or a Diablotune, so my hat is off to you. Have you considered a differential brace? They are only a few hundred bucks. I do have that on my list of upgrades, but since the charger is just my daily driver, and I don't beat on it, it's low priority. I did get the FR73 wheels in Satin Black from Factory Reproductions (staggered sizes). It's a shame that you can't get the rear in 18" for a taller sidewall when racing. You may want to take a look at them, very nice on the Charger.
My car priority is my '68 Barracuda, since the state doesn't care about stuff older than 1975. It gets the headers, cam, forged pistons, internal balanced crank, cnc heads, ignition, dual quads, et cetera. Keep up the good work!
Oh, and I may be trading in my '16 Scat for a new 392 this spring.
I loved the huge bee on the side I loved it
I did to. It kind of reminded me of Venom!
@@RTLife yes indeed lol keep on doing what you do champ 🏆
By belt slip they mean when their opponent slipped his belt off and whooped em.
Your car is bad ass bro ignore the noise ppl just love to cry
Thanks man! I def appreciate it. This R/T is going to keep getting faster & better looking
@@RTLife there is no other RT like it. Definitely one of a kind. Keep it up 👍
I'm curious with all the mods, how much whp you have compared to stock. I have a 5.7 and I'm going to definitely add some power in the future. I appreciate your vids it's helped me gain knowledge about mods.
Stock is around 330whp range. My R/T is around 770whp range now. It's going to likely see a boost in a month or so - going to turn it up even more. I appreciate the support
@@RTLife incredible bro. Looking forward to that vid once you get there. Thanks and stay safe bro
Oooooweeeeeee is me, every time I turn on my charger
Hey RT life, you happen to know if there are pentastar 3.6 stroker kits? Been lookin and can't seem to find any
I haven't been able to find one. The 2-3 best upgrades for 3.6L is twin-turbo system, cat-back exhaust & 3.09 limited slip - you will be fast!
@@RTLife I have the AWD system and i know it can get complicated from what i read. Thanks for the reply!
@R/Glide get Looks Headers ?! 👍
PS ignore HATERS?! don't underestimate the 5.7l hemi.
Texas Speedway Performance Can.
Great Vid! 💯💪🏾
Thanks man! Def appreciate it
Great mods , I like it looks cool. Hey think positive, now that’s a winner always peace
Is twin turbo a cheaper option than a super charger
No. it's a lot more expensive, typically. Labor for install is #1 & material drives up costs. That said they're really efficient.
Your car is fire 🔥
Thanks man - I really appreciate it
I honestly never really understood why someone would be mad at someone else for doing stuff to their car, not only that i don’t understand why a widebody kit would be an issue when the 5.7 is a v8 just like the Scatpack and hellcat shit if we’re being honest the 5.7 is better then the scat pack
Any reason not to go with Manley & Callie's on the internals?
F the haters!!! Sweet car😍
Thank you very much, def appreciate it
I don’t understand the hate on the widebody kit okay maybe the grill because it’s a hellcat grill but it’s legit fender flares…
Wat is your suspension set up after the wide body? (Link)Nice car bro!💪🏼❤️
I want to cam an twin turbo my 300 ... What's a good place to get it
Awesome list. I've been following your build for years as I am building mine also. I purchased a stroker kit from FRP Tuning and Ryan has been incredible every step of the way! I have his Mark 82 Cam currently and will be upgrading to his Tomohawk cam for the stroker. I know you follow my ig page also and I appreciate it. Looking forward to be featured in one of the videos soon! Stay tuned, Stroker should be wrapped up in a month or so! (IG Sancha_345)
I'm pumped for you man. Once everything is all dialed in you're going to have a blast! Keep me in the loop with your build - would love to have it up on the channel someday. Thanks man for continuing to support the channel.
Does the killer be hood fit a hi ram??
How much was the twin turbo kit ?
Someones gonna hate what you do. Im running n/a and everyone says go boost. I drive a 5.7, everyone says go 392.
I don't like all the up-badging whining. Too many people wanting to control others' decisions. Why do they care so much?
I have no clue. My guess is they paid for a widebody & don't want others enjoying the look without paying the $$$
@@RTLife I believe the same thing honestly. I find it ironic that most of them tend to run around parroting, "Better built than bought", and not listening to themselves.
Specifically for up-badging, and I mean actually putting a hellcat badge on an RT, is kind of cringe imo. I don't care too much to make a gripe about it but I understand where those who do come from. The gripe about having an after market OEM styled widebody kit on the other hand is just insane to me. It's a cosmetic upgrade, it's not performance inspired or anything (aside from meaty tires?)
Upbadging is def a big NO-NO in my book. I don't care how fast your car is - either no badges or keep the badging proper. Styling though, I say fair game. If you have a hellcat, throw a demon hood on it - just keep the hellcat badges on.
I get what you're saying but there will be tribute cars being built. As long as they keep true to the tribute I won't point and laugh.
Did you have any problems why the killer bee hood getting water in any electricity near the engine or the battery of you moved it? I’m thinking about getting the killer bee hood but I’m scared I’ll damage some things within time can I be sure of that
You will love the Killer bee hood. Just cover the vent over the intake & you will be just fine. It has been such a great upgrade since installing it.
@RTLife are you still running that without hood pins? Any issues? I'm about to pull the trigger on it but that's my only hangup, don't like the look of hood pins on that.
My xMOD dont sound like yours😅
Who's tuning it? Mine sounds a lot different now because of the turbos. Can't wait to do some HWY pulls & downshifts with turbos to see how the Xmod sounds now.
@@RTLife maybe yours sounds different because of the cam.
Brian at DTP racing in chesepeake Virginia tuned it. (I think thats his name)
The opinions of other people isn't something any man should be concerned about
😁👍🏻
Thanks man
I dnt give a fo what they think, if they have a legitimate argument about a mechanic parts its good if its their damn opinion, well i would like them to write it down and shove it
Some people go online just to stir up drama. Many talking nonsense to get a rise out of people. You're right man
Nope I love the pedal commander
It's so much fun! Esp. on Sport +
@@RTLife I still have mine as well on my 07 hemi rt charger I just got a tune from hemifever I didn't even tune the pedal commander but with the tune it feels faster
Was that a reference to modern red hemi? 👀
Also it’d be nice if you actually raced your car. “Twin turbo rt vs ______” would def get clicks
Which part? I will race it once I have it back.
@@RTLife excited to see that, the part where you mentioned belt slippage
@@bennydrives no. Although he’s mentioned it in the past but not really as an excuse for a lost race. It took a really long time to save up for a built transmission & all new fueling to handle the 770+whp - I’ll be back racing & having fun.
@@RTLife that’s exciting for sure. I’ve been subbed for nearly 2 years I think. I used to have a cammed RT 5spd nearly fbo then I sold it unfortunately lol I miss it. Crazy to see how far you’ve come with yours.
🔥🔥🔥🔥👍🏿🍻
Thanks man!
The people that hated the pedal commander are the people that didn’t read the instructions and installed it wrong or changed modes while driving 😂😂😂😂
Continue to build up your car while your haters in the back lurking.
Will do. Plenty left to do for the R/T. Thanks man
You’re welcome my brotha. Thank you for responding back and the motivation. Honestly I don’t see why your car is being called a “rice” car when you’re building performance and looks with top dollars while the actual “rice” drivers are doing exteriors on a budget. 🤷🏿♂️ people are really weird these days. Plus what you’re doing is a custom built to your liking and how you want your car to look and perform, honestly. Especially using twin-turbos. You’re the first that I have heard to use twin-turbos while most Mopar owners has a whipple.
Putting different body panels from a higher trim is NOT up-badging, its in the name up-BADGE, yeah if you had 392 or hellcat emblems on the car that wouls be lame. Tons of mustang guys put gt500 grills, bumpers, fenders etc on GTs/V6s.
Car guys on youtube can be so stupid and illogical.
I'm just repeating what others are commenting to insult my upgrades
@@RTLife yeah I know I'm on your side though those games just they want to hate anything that ain't exactly 100% what they see it as
