Randy Rhoads is the definition of Guitar God/ Virtuoso. He was a classically trained God before he was a teenager. At age 14 he formed the heavy metal band Quiet Riot. Only to lose his life to a coked out pilot who wanted to do tricks in a plane. Ozzy Osborne to this day cries when he hears Randy's guitar. Watch Ozzy and Jack's road trip. He went on a major drug and sexual rampage, when he had finished it was still undecided whether he would continue, but with alot of care from Sharon and i think counseling, is why we still see Ozzy preforming today.
You got it wrong, the pilot was high on coke and crashed the plane into a bus his ex wife was riding in. Poor Randy Rhoads...... he was a great person, one of the few rockstars that never did any drugs and really didn’t deserve a death like that.

Great song, but you need to listen to the Ozzy masterpiece that is "Mr. Crowley". Creepy synth intro, combined with Ozzy's phenomenal lyrics and vocals, and not one but TWO shredding Randy Rhoads solos make this one of the best songs I've ever heard. Give it a listen and hope you enjoy it!
Congratulations !! You have heard the best guitar solo in history !! Randy Rhoads was just a musician God !! Greetings from Mexico Alex !! Pd: hope the win a shirt, how awesome would be to send one to a fan in Mexico ?? Worldwide baby !!!
Tanner Shirk Amazing singer and uh, super gorgeous. But as great of a singer, and as gorgeous as he looked, he was and still is an a**hole. That’s why they got rid of him. Too much collateral damage. He thought he was not replaceable. Everyone is replaceable!!
I've always loved Crazy Train. The riffs Randy Rhodes plays when he sings the chorus is....crazy. You'd never think Ozzy could write but he can. Whenever I hear a rap band samples an iconic song it always breaks my heart. When I heard vanilla ice sample Pressure from David Bowie it hurt and now you told me another rapper sampled Crazy Train. It just seems wrong, taking a great song and watering it down when you sample it. That's just my opinion, obviously millions of people love these songs.
Though Ozzy mostly denies it now, his solo group was originally going to be called Blizzard of Ozz. The first two albums were recorded with Lee Kerslake on drums, Bob Daisley on bass and a great majority of the songwriting along with guitar wizard the late great Randy Rhoads. That group recorded Ozzy's first and second albums, Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman. However. Ozzy decided to fire Bob and Lee and brought in Rudy Sarzo on bass and the legendary Tommy Aldridge on drums. They were the band pictured on the gatefold sleeve...and they did the tour with Randy...but the first two studio albums were recorded ORIGINALLY with Bob and Lee. There was a brief window of time when Lee and Bob were embroiled in a lawsuit with Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne over royalties owed them from sales of the albums. Subsequently, Ozzy went into the studio and had Bob's bass lines and Lee's drum lines removed, then brought in two "studio" musicians, Mike Borden from Faith No More on drums and I think Robert Trujillo on bass before he joined Metallica. Allegedly this was done at Sharon's suggestion to deny Bob and Lee any royalties for future sales of the first two albums. And, in the wake of Randy's death in a small plane crash, Blizzard of Ozz died and it became Ozzy Osbourne solo, with a long rotating roster of musicians and songwriters. You notice Ozzy took credit for Crazy Train. I believe Bob and Randy wrote the song. Randy wrote the music Bob provided the lyrics. Ozzy insisted on a songwriting credit but other than the opening, it's difficult to say what else he actually wrote. Bob also co-wrote Perry Mason, the opening cut on Ozzmosis, which you need to check out too, dude. Zakk Wylde and Jake E. Lee were both exceptional songwriters and any album featuring either of them you should definitely check out. Bark at the Moon definitely for Jake and No Rest For The Wicked for Zakk. Truth be told, I don't know any albums by Ozzy that actually suck. I really don't. Ozzy has had other great guitarists since Jake and Zakk but...those two were truly torch bearers for the amazing Randy Rhoads. Jake and Zakk carried the Randy tradition forward although, oddly enough, if memory serves, Jake did HIS guitar wizardry WITHOUT a whammy bar like Randy and Jake used and handled all string bends manually, old school style, with just his fingers.
Randy Rhoads (Guitarist) and Ozzy co-wrote Crazy Train. Randy Rhoads single-handedly saved Ozzy's solo career with Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman. Randy actually sat Ozzy down and told him they had to something different than how a song is normally played. Randy was an AMAZING guitarist and just 22 (going on 23) when he was talked in to auditioning for Ozzy's band. Randy was 25 at the time he was touring with Ozzy when he died on 03/19/82, in Florida. He perished in a mysterious plane accident when a small Beechcraft Bonanza plane piloted by the band's tour bus driver crashed and burned. The driver was flying a friend's plane without permission, and without a valid pilot license. He flew multiple times over the bus the band was sleeping in until the plane "clipped" the bus and he lost control. As a result, the plane flew into the house near the bus, and all three people aboard lost their lives in the exploding fireball, with the startled Osbourne clambering out of the bus to witness the horrifying sight. Randy could only be identified because of the jewelry he wore. How Randy ended up onboard the plane, dying at the peak of his fame, is a mystery. He didn't like planes, and rarely partied with the members of the crew. Someone on youtube said he was trying to overcome his fear of flying. Why he chose that day with that pilot is beyond me. On top of that, the only thing they found in his body was nicotine. To this day, Ozzy still gets emotional hearing one of Randy's riffs. Zakk Wylde (who plays guitar for Ozzy on and off for years now) was a fan of Randy's playing before he sent in an audition tape to Ozzy who (some time after Randy died) was looking for a new guitarist and when Zakk plays something like Crazy Train, he finds a way to play it that honors Randy's memory while still remaining true to himself and his own style. I have a ton of respect for Zakk as a guitarist for that alone.
CaptNRetro haha right, I mean it's played at like every sporting event, intermission for everything. Commercials. It's just crazy. Maybe not the WHOLE song but no way someone never heard the chorus or opening riff. Impossible.
No, no, no. I'm sure he's completely genuine and not pretending at all. And he's probably never heard of the Beatles, Frank Sinatra or Justin Timberlake either...
Couldn't wait for this one. I just wanted to see your expression to Randy Rhoads and right at the beginning of the lead.....there it was!!!! Never again will there be another Randy Rhoads. And it's hard to believe it's been since 1982 since he passed away. I still mourn for him and wish I had more of his music.
The thing I love about this songs solo is that Randy, in true Randy style, was trying to compose a solo for the song and not having much luck. Ozzy took him aside at one point and told him to stop overthinking the music and just play what he felt. And he did . And this is the result.

Also I told you on Twitter that you should listen to Mastodon and Whitechapel. Make sure to check out those two bands. The song Oblivion by Mastodon is amazing and so is Possession by Whitechapel. Hope to get a shirt from this. Keep doing what you’re doing! 👍🏻
A friend of mine interviewed Ozzy when he came to town for a concert - anyone in town to give a concert was interviewed by him, so lots of folks - and he said that Ozzy was not only the nicest of all, he also stayed talking as long as my friend wanted. Good guy.

Or never learned how to write.
Yep I was thinking the same thing. On top of that some of the lyrics are just plain incorrect. :)
Matt Kettmann Wym? I love precahers
Matt Rogers, especially when "there" not "to late" to get "abored". XD
Obviously, they were a dropout who made their own rules.

The authenticity of his facial expression here is so wholesome.
"I can't stop moving my head", that's maybe one f the best ways to describe how great this song is ;)
Trivium krisute gomen
Randy roads R.I.P he is a beast.
Congratulations !! You have heard the best guitar solo in history !! Randy Rhoads was just a musician God !! Greetings from Mexico Alex !!

Alex! Love love LOVE how your eyes light up when listening to this music! I'm 54 years old and lived this! You ROCK!!!!
Skid row I remember you. Amazing singer!
Tanner Shirk Amazing singer and uh, super gorgeous. But as great of a singer, and as gorgeous as he looked, he was and still is an a**hole. That’s why they got rid of him. Too much collateral damage. He thought he was not replaceable. Everyone is replaceable!!
Rammstein - Amerika! You'll not regret it!! Powerful lyrics
Vetleks reaction video of rammstein are impossible due to rammstein's policy of copyrights and fair use
Vetleks we are living in amerika ist wunderbar ... This is not a love song . this is not a love song

Megadeth - Tornado of souls

Motorhead - orgasmatron...!!!
Guitarist Randy Rhoads, arguable the greatest guitarist who never live long enough to prove it. Phenomenal tone and technique
I love how randy still impacts us as much as he does
For more Ozzy, How about Mr Crowley or No More Tears.
Matthew Drake And Hellraiser
Definitely I wanna hear you scream
I've always loved Crazy Train. The riffs Randy Rhodes plays when he sings the chorus is....crazy. You'd never think Ozzy could write but he can.
Whenever I hear a rap band samples an iconic song it always breaks my heart. When I heard vanilla ice sample Pressure from David Bowie it hurt and now you told me another rapper sampled Crazy Train. It just seems wrong, taking a great song and watering it down when you sample it. That's just my opinion, obviously millions of people love these songs.
You need react to the "Mr. Crowley" by Ozzy Osbourne plsssss
Con los solos de ese tema se le van a erizar hasta los pelos que no sabia que tenia.😍
Did I drink before I came here? Yes. That's the only time I watch reaction videos. For some weird reason it makes me feel less alone.
Randy always brings Goosebumps doesn't matter 1st or 1000000 time listening.
Every time!!
Hell yeah
I've listened to more times than I can count and each time I head this solo I get goosebumps
No way in hell you’ve never heard Crazy Train in your life . I refuse to believe it
CaptNRetro my immediate thought
CaptNRetro haha right, I mean it's played at like every sporting event, intermission for everything. Commercials. It's just crazy. Maybe not the WHOLE song but no way someone never heard the chorus or opening riff. Impossible.
Yeah he has definitley heard it before lol
Believer is a great song too
No, no, no. I'm sure he's completely genuine and not pretending at all. And he's probably never heard of the Beatles, Frank Sinatra or Justin Timberlake either...
React to Ozzy Osbourne - Mr. Crowley
Dante Escobedo definitely my fave
Now that is awesome.
Would be great
The best!
One of the greatest solos ever
Couldn't wait for this one. I just wanted to see your expression to Randy Rhoads and right at the beginning of the lead.....there it was!!!! Never again will there be another Randy Rhoads. And it's hard to believe it's been since 1982 since he passed away. I still mourn for him and wish I had more of his music.
It's crazy to think when this song was written and how much it is STILL accurate to the times we now live in...
The meaning of this song still very relevant today. The masses are still sleeping. Ozzy is one of the best.
Check out Mr. Crowley by Ozzy!
Crippie Karaoke yes!
The thing I love about this songs solo is that Randy, in true Randy style, was trying to compose a solo for the song and not having much luck. Ozzy took him aside at one point and told him to stop overthinking the music and just play what he felt. And he did . And this is the result.
Man... I heard this song for the first time 12 years ago but this solo still gets me goosebumps... Randy Rhoads Forever!!
Led Zeppelin - Stairway to heavenPink Floyd - Comfortably numb
Thank you, I've heard this song a million times but never actually paid attention the lyrics. I now have a new found fondness of this song!
Ozzy-No more tears or Perry Mason please
Also "I Just Want You" and "See You On The Other Side"
You are so adorable! Your reactions are priceless! I peeped at some of your older videos. Love that you're loving Metal.🤘 My how you've changed! New subbie! 💋😘
I love to see the progression of Alex's headbanging over the months. Before it was like kinda shifty and spioratic, and now hes definitely finding the pocket to the music.
One of my favorite songs by Ozzy. I remember being in elementary school and having this song on my iPod Shuffle. I always had it repeat. It was amazing. Also I told you on Twitter that you should listen to Mastodon and Whitechapel. Make sure to check out those two bands. The song Oblivion by Mastodon is amazing and so is Possession by Whitechapel. Hope to get a shirt from this. Keep doing what you’re doing! 👍🏻
He already reacted/listened to Mastodon - Oblivion
Dante Escobedo I didn’t know he uploaded that. Thanks for letting me know. He should still do Whitechapel though
A friend of mine interviewed Ozzy when he came to town for a concert - anyone in town to give a concert was interviewed by him, so lots of folks - and he said that Ozzy was not only the nicest of all, he also stayed talking as long as my friend wanted. Good guy.
Heard this song probably a thousand times over the years but this is the first time actually seeing the lyrics. Never figured it for a "deep" song until now.
