Me, in bed, watching this before I fall asleep: oh a nice lil video to watch before I doze off. * sees how you start jewelry certification * * get up and turn on the computer * “you’re kidding me. I’ve spent days without that?? ):”
Small correction - waiting to be cp160 for the survery isnt the only requirement, if you don't have max skill points to actually use those mats, 50/50 of the mats will be cp160 mats and lower level mats.
thank you so much for this video ist really helped me out! I have one question: I got to cp 160 a few days ago and i am playing a build were i should farm a dungeonset at first and then after it i should use a raidset for my build. So why should i craft when i don‘t need one of the craftingsets for my build? I really enjoy the crafting but i don‘t get the sense of it😅
so, question. is really worth it to steadily level up metalworking (and other similar skill of the other crafting trees) as you progress?because as you level it up, the materials become harder to find and more costly with the writs. i know the end goal is to have it maxed so i can craft the max gear.. but until then, while I'm just leveling, i find it sooo much easier to do the writs with just the level 1 metalworking. so should i stay at 1 and just wait until i can max it to 10? of should i level it every time i can? like i don't even see any increase in inspiration with leveling it..
Do I need to keep low level crafting materials in my inventar and refine them? Or can I sell all of the low level stuff from deconstructing and wait until I can farm rubedide fe?
I am having problems to get yellow (golden) resins and tempers for upgrading gear to yellow (golden). Usually I do writs but they seldom drop any yellow item and buying them in PC NA is expensive AF. Any recommendation / advice will be welcome! :)
Great video! New player here, you explain things very well. Need some advice which profession would you advise starting for a sorc? I'm debating between tailoring or woodworking. Or can I just straight up farm my gear? Like in wow I just usually farmed my gear and used professions for money, ot doesn't sound like its the same in ESO.
love the possibilities of this game but a year ago I found this game to be a little difficult. you have me wanting to give it another try on Xbox one. i got eso gold edition.
Thanks for the Beginner videos! Can I ask you a quick question, off topic? What is the UI that puts the Bars on the left like that? I am using Minion so can I find it in there? Maybe you have a guide on addons that is semi-up-to-date?
Hello , I'm still trying to learn all this , I keep up on the research & Brake down / Deconstruct everything that I don't need , I even make items and then deconstruct them again as many times that i can , Now that I have level 50 in all my crafting skills and there are some things that I can not make , It's the basic items but at a higher level , Do I need to level Ranks up also on top of my main levels ? It's like I'm level 50 in woodworking & My Combat level is 800 Champion but there is items that won't let me make at the upper levels only at a lower level , What could I be doing wrong & What's the best way to fix this problem ? Lets me make it but at the lower rank only . Console Player
Hi I just started ESO and one of my characters is (going to be) a master crafter. This is a great video - I do have one question. What Addon are you using for provisioning? I would love to be able to sort my recipes like that!
Did I miss it or did you skip over the main question noobs like me want to know. Can you only pick one skill? I’m trying to pick a craftsman trade but am afraid to talk to a trainer if I can only choose one
So I basically I only use crafting to increase the rarity, right? Is there ever a reason to craft a 160cp from scratch since they don't provide any set bonuses?
I wonder why all these beginner's guides show us players already on 50 level. My difficulties are at the lowest levels and how to initiate all those skills. For example, a good guide would be if the player is level 2, 3, and is really beginning the game. I'm not criticizing your video, admit that there are useful advices, but what I really need is the very beginner's guide, step by step. I have 2 more difficulties to manage: my age, that makes me learn and act more slowly, and the language, because I'm Brazilian and unfortunately the game presents talks and writings only in English, even Brazil having a huge number of players. It's disrespect from Bethesda (Zenimax) with us. Brazilian gamers that make guides have the same problem: all them are super-extra-high levels and really care not the beginners. (sorry if I couldn't express myself very clearly, my English is very poor)

As a noob just starting this game 2 days ago, this is an absolute Godsend. THANK YOU!!!
fr this so helpful, i just started playing seriously
Just 2 weeks ago my orc was trying to figure out his way around Tamriel, now he's learning about crafting. They grow up so fast.
The "sell ornate, deconstruct intricate" bit alone is fantastic advice for beginners
I've just returned to the game after a couple of years away & have forgotten EVERYTHING. This video has brought me back up to speed, thanks so much!
Been playing for two years and never touched any crafting systems. This is great info, thank you.
Pretty underrated ESO channel, this is so helpful!
Came back after 3 years, this helped out this old noob a lot. Thanks
He's right... research and deconstruct as you level and most of the crafting lines will be at 50 when your character reaches level 50 CP 160.
instaBlaster
Thank you for this! I got the game on sale from Steam and I have no idea what I have to do in the game. Your videos helped a lot! Keep it up! :)
Thanks so much Adam - another Clear and Concise video with heaps of essential info to follow. Appreciate the effort :-)
I never been that big on crafting but after everyone telling me that crafting is a huge part of this game I kinda decided to try it out thanks!
Best guide I have ever watched for crafting beginners. Thanks a lot :D
Thanks for the video. Very useful for a new player like me.
Not really a huge crafter in any game but might as well while do it while im levelling my first character
Thank you so much for all you do bro much love and respect!

lol, welcome to mmos. simple but complex
I know I am a year late but what is your outfit in this video or what motif? The dye looks amazing too

Thanks for the vid :) also what is the add on that shows percentages on your equipped armor in the inventory screen? Thanks!
alpha gear
‘Heavy attack’ that notif icon lol I see what you did there.

Get Kinra's/Tzogivn and Releqeuens
Do race and class have any impact on the different crafting techniques? For example can my orc stamina dps be my main crafter for all of my alts?
When you research a trait on one characteric der does it apply to all your other characters on that account ?

really nice tuto but i don't understand what "research" does it unlock it ?
How you make your UI like that? My menus are super old and too much menus showing less things
Also where is the place you are at?
I went to the addons tab and it’s blank
Do I need to keep low level crafting materials in my inventar and refine them? Or can I sell all of the low level stuff from deconstructing and wait until I can farm rubedide fe?

Do you get better writs daily if you have everything researched all your passives activated. Or motifs used?
Should I use every profession or just stick to a few I'm using a bow stamblade
Should I only focus on two crafting professions because I've been deconstructing everything and now my bank is full of materials
Amazing work bro very good video

where do you buy crafting materiel
Guild traders
Do you guys think having a character only for crafting is a good idea? I saw many players having a main crafter character

I have 2 add on videos in the channel actually it goes over those :) it should be alpha gear though
Are the guild is only for on PC players?

What is the addon you have that changes the inventory and everything? Also, thank you much for the guide! Earned a subscriber!
Inventory grid view and thank you :)
Very helpful thank you, shame though we can’t have those handy add-ons for consoles!
Is it bad that I don’t know how to craft anything, I’m lvl 50
All I do is deconstruct stuff
I made it 8 days without ESO plus; you absolutely need it to play this game with how many materials exist.
Hi I just started ESO and one of my characters is (going to be) a master crafter. This is a great video - I do have one question. What Addon are you using for provisioning? I would love to be able to sort my recipes like that!
Wish I watched this before I got 28 levels in
cp 158 here... RIP
Did I miss it or did you skip over the main question noobs like me want to know. Can you only pick one skill?
I’m trying to pick a craftsman trade but am afraid to talk to a trainer if I can only choose one
If you mean like black smithing or woodworking you can do it all on any character. Just takes skill points and the initial “quest”
hey so cool ! thanks for the hard work. just for my info how many hours did you have on this game ?
probably over 2000 hours at least
So I basically I only use crafting to increase the rarity, right? Is there ever a reason to craft a 160cp from scratch since they don't provide any set bonuses?
You can craft craftable sets at specific locations just look up craftible sets and it should tell you where to craft it
You can't pick up the certification quest from the boards. You have to talk to an NPC.
If you havent talked to either NPCs, yes you can pick up the Cert quest from the board.
@@SilverHeimdall yep :)
You wouldn't happen to have a Xbox guild possibly would you? Sadly that would be pretty helpful
We don’t really :(

I just posted a question in the discord about this! Thank you! (@Tolicus)
So much for a guide if I can't log into game(Thanks though) . Nice Greymoor launch ESO !! FAIL!!!
