That crafting point makes me feel really good about being a little worker bee when it comes to non-combat skills in games. I created a magicka DPS character. If I want to change him to a tank, do I just need to reallocate the attributes and level up 2 handed for instance? I'm a bit confused since it says they are a sorcerer.
Just take your time marathon not a sprint do main story dungeons and battlegrounds join a guild ask someone to make you training gear and watch a build video for charecter you want to create I'm new and it all starts to make sense
I like what you said . The only problem for me is that these zone missions are so long. That it is hard to do the mage guilds. Plus I have all the DLC. And never know when I am doing the main quest
Watched this right before the final push for 50, getting ready to hit 50 anyway. No regrets. I tend to have extra skill points anyway, and that seem to be the main takeaway, you get more skill points if you do this and this. Road to 160 CP.
I am afraid to do daily dungeons. I'm level 15 now, I have no idea what to do there, were to go and so on. Maybe I should watch some guides before going or nah?
Just dive in, the first ones are really short and easy, so you should be ok. Also don't hesitate to mention when it's your first time in a dungeon, and people usually will be comprehensive. Dungeons get longer and harder as long as you're levelling, so I strongly suggest that you start doing them as soon as you can, your progression will be smoother this way. Don't wait until you're 50 to dive in, people will be way more forgiving with a level 15 who's discovering a dungeon than with a clueless lv50 player.
Just started playing myself. I'm so confused on where to go half the time, lol. I haven't even started the main quest line really, just been doing area stuff and uncovering the map and just doing those got me up to like lvl 35.
This can't be more true with the quests. When i see people grinding levels they get quickly up to 50, but don't have any skill points to have any advantage from all this grinding. Then they run around like headless chicken, grinding Skyshards and still don't have enough skill points. Before they actually can really start to play they are already frustrated. This is probably also a reason why people say that ESO is so damn grindy. I just go and quest like mad, collect Skyshards where i can and which come naturally with the questing. I don't get frustrated by repeating the same dungeon or delve over and over and over. While doing that i also discover most of the wayshrines and POI, get most craft stations for sets and and and. It might appear slower but later on it makes the game much faster and enjoyable. What i can also recommend is to get a few addons for PC Players to make life easier. Especially some of the map addonons that show skyshards and books Join the mages guild as early as possible and collect every book you can find. Nothin more annoying than needing shooting star as your ultimate and then you can't because you didn't collect any books and need to start the grind again. I also find that you can much better decide what other characters you may want to play in future. You can build up your main, but setup up additional characters. Do your daily quests and mount training on these alts as often as possibe. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes a day to logon to each character. But when you are ready to actually play these alts you have a fully trained mount and your crafting is already up to 50 and you did some major part of your research (if you are mad like me and want all crafting skills on all characters). I go on my main and craft a whole bunch of gear specific for research on my alts, place the gear in a storage chest or the bank, then research the gear on each alt. The addon TraitBuddy does help there as well. Another thing i can recommend is to research the Training trait on the main as quickly as possible. You can craft training gear for your alts. I usually craft them in sets for 10 levels Then i use the gear on my alts and swap every ten levels until level 50 CP160. After that i start to equip the alts with their final gear. The sticker book is a god send and probably the best change ZOS introduced. If i then need more CP i can still grind XP. But mostly i can grind alone and don't need get carried. And quite frankly, all the major grind spots are overrun. You enter a spot and if you are out of luck you can wait forever until a boss respawns. It is almost like going to an amusement park and wait the entire day to get to one of the main rides. You went there and all you saw was an endless queue and you were only able to get on this one ride and missed all other attractions. Doesn't make much sense to me. Another advantage i find is that you learn to survive on your own if you do the quests alone. It sharpens your senses to dodge roll out of AOEs. Later in trials and vet content it can make a difference for the entire group. I had several situation where i was able to stay alive long enough to rez enough people so it didn't end in a wipe. Start to play and decide what you want to play. Get all the information you can get and start to follow the goal to build the best character you can. Don't get bogged down in "I can't get that gear". You will soon enough. Get as many skill points as possible and don't bother in the beginning with getting lots of XP to get to CP160. You will collect enough XP with questing and without the need to grind the same spot again and again. If i build a new toon, it takes me about 3-4 days to get to level 50 just by questing. Then i get the max CP i did so far. If you have a character that has CP160+ your new alt will have automatically CP160+ and you can start equipping the final gear straight away. And that is why in the end you can be faster in building characters than all the grinders.
Unlocking guilds right away helps bypass so many annoying side-side quests and gets them completed so much faster. It took me a while to figure out how to get the Intimidate and Persuade passives. Plus books right off the bat & fighters guild when grinding at dolmens...
First thing I did was the main quests, i am at the point of doing the cadwell silver and gold thing and it is confusing the hell out of me, should i do those before level 50? What i dont like is it sounds like you will be doing a lot of the same 3 times over. Thoughts?
I can still do all these things after level 50 though, right? Like, I won't be screwed if I don't do them before? Because I just started a new character and somehow got to level 27 in a day and I've barely done anything besides zone stories
Do you have a website you use for all your mods, And you could tell us what mods you use, I used to mods manually but just recently I started using minion, Anyway, can you tell what mods you are using?
Can you also share the app again? I can’t find ESO Helper. I am using The ESO app and it helps a lot in finding lorebooks and skyshards esp as console player, we cant do any addons unlike pc. Thanks much.
so leveling up the fighters guild u dont have to slot one of the abilities? .. i dont care about crafting esp with the collection system.. im just going for trait research now.. thats most important i think
I believe you get some free respec scrolls at level 43, so don’t worry. Just choose what seems cool and save the scrolls for when you actually need to follow a build.
@@DarkStormEX the items that are researchable will have the magnifying glass symbol next to them. If you go into the research option make sure you are at the correct crafting station. Woodworking = Bows; Staves and shields. Clothing = Light and medium armor. Blacksmith = Heavy armor and all other weapons. All available researchable gear should show up when you are trying to research.
Make sure the item isn't locked in your bank or character inventory. That prevents it from being accidentally destroyed or sold by removing it from those lists.

another cool video, thank you Adam one thing I don't understand is that I can't get shields or jewels to do research and since I can't I go to the market to buy these things and unfortunately it is expensive and even worse is that I am at level 40 or 41 and I need gold very much, I don't understand why I can't get these things to do research, is it because I have been fighting with bow and arrows ? #Adam Lutz

I’m gonna be getting a playing it soon for the first time this helps a ton and if anyone would wanna game with me lmk
I am afraid to do daily dungeons. I'm level 15 now, I have no idea what to do there, were to go and so on. Maybe I should watch some guides before going or nah?
If your playing dps you should be fine just follow the tank
Just dive in, the first ones are really short and easy, so you should be ok. Also don't hesitate to mention when it's your first time in a dungeon, and people usually will be comprehensive.
Dungeons get longer and harder as long as you're levelling, so I strongly suggest that you start doing them as soon as you can, your progression will be smoother this way. Don't wait until you're 50 to dive in, people will be way more forgiving with a level 15 who's discovering a dungeon than with a clueless lv50 player.
@@andocalrissian5147 Ok, thanks :)
@@jeromemorin9352 ok ) Got it. Thank you :)
Set aside skill points to power level alchemy, you will need the medicinal use passive
Thank you so much for this 🥰
Just started playing myself.
Plus books right off the bat & fighters guild when grinding at dolmens...
what armour is he wearing? Im loving the robotic arms
The arms are a Motif from the Clockwork City
@@ShieldThane thank you!
Yw comrad!
Is it worth doing these after lvl 50?
First thing I did was the main quests, i am at the point of doing the cadwell silver and gold thing and it is confusing the hell out of me, should i do those before level 50? What i dont like is it sounds like you will be doing a lot of the same 3 times over. Thoughts?
I can still do all these things after level 50 though, right? Like, I won't be screwed if I don't do them before? Because I just started a new character and somehow got to level 27 in a day and I've barely done anything besides zone stories
Do the Psijic Line in Summerset for the free shinies!
Sorry for the ask sir, can you tell me what is ur outfits ? *.* look so awesome
The chest looks like the light armor from Orsinium
Is that game still fun if im not have membership ? I bought the game for almost year but never play it
Im in the theives guild dose that count?
So I have the mothers sorrow set for eso on the ps4 but I don't see the option to craft any of it........how do I craft it?
Gotcha, so is that what the video meant then was reconstruct rather than craft??
Didn't know that you could change armor trait with transmute. Tbh had no idea what transmute crystals were for.
Do you have a website you use for all your mods, And you could tell us what mods you use, I used to mods manually but just recently I started using minion, Anyway, can you tell what mods you are using?
Is the stickerbook bound to the character or account?
That armor your wearing what's name is it
can dungeons be done solo at low level?
You open the dungeon finder at Lv10 and they slowly trickle in til you hit lv 50
Those are not the starting zones but the first big cities... I think you're confusing beginners❗
Actually no he helped me alot im a level 18 almost 19
Please, what add on gives you the floating numbers and block/dodge prints?
I watched your add on video and Im still unsure. Is it a specific config?
Just in regular setting under combat settings. Change combat text to all on
Use advanced ui
One of the best to help a noob like me:)
Can you also share the app again? I can’t find ESO Helper. I am using The ESO app and it helps a lot in finding lorebooks and skyshards esp as console player, we cant do any addons unlike pc. Thanks much.
Hey, u make nice guide about tanking, can u do something about class for tanking? What they do and for what role they made?
You can easiky find Eso tanking guides on youtube
I swear every single video has the explanation of armor type xD
Ok this helps grinding for 40+ hours still not lvl 50
I'm so close to pulling the trigger and getting this for ps5 but only thing holding me back is I wanna wait for the ps5 patch.
so leveling up the fighters guild u dont have to slot one of the abilities? .. i dont care about crafting esp with the collection system.. im just going for trait research now.. thats most important i think
As a new player with low funds, how can I see how many AP I actually have in total without having to go do a respec for $$?
I believe you get some free respec scrolls at level 43, so don’t worry. Just choose what seems cool and save the scrolls for when you actually need to follow a build.
I hit lvl 50 so quick... I still have to do most of this. Maybe I play dungeons too much
Too much Dungeons 🤯 nah they are the funnest part!!
@@ShieldThane yeah man, im at cp160 now - decided I should start playing the prologue and story now! Lol
Thanks this helped alot
How do you find the weapons you can research. I have the item with the trait but it doesn't appear.
Is it in your bank or on your player? If in the bank you have to make sure you have the setting that shows Bank items when at the crafting stations.
@@jeremyb1975 its on my character. When I go to the station it doesn't appear researchable
Im surprised this isn't a 30min video on tips for new players like most videos on this game
Craft many sets you can just craft at 50 and I would suggest doing pvp and save you alliance points for the golden vendor in cyrodill.
I wish I would have done these two things before I got 50.
Nice!
I find that I reach Level 50 a long time before completing main and zone quests.
Pls gimme that interface, how do I make it like that?
Ikrrrr i want his UI mod
just started this game and its a bit overwhelming. I think I pretty much suck, I am in first person view and at 60/60 inventory. ;/
Get out of first person immediately and try ESO plus - it's more than worth it.
How do you not spend all of your time clearing your bags in this game? Are you supposed to be super picky about loot? I get that you can upgrade the space and I am but man I can barely play in the hour or 2 I have everyday because of inventory space I spend most my time just trying to get space in my bags even with eso plus. Feels like I'm playing games while tied up
Tried the random dungeons, got speed runners so not bothering anymore. Transmutation is never going to be a thing for a casual player.
I’ve been playing for quite some time now , and I’m cp 796. For some reason I just can’t seem to get my dps parses above 45k . Even after all the countless hours I’ve invested in mastering my build and LA weaving. Idk what to do anymore lol
Propably your portions you sure you leveled your alchemy to level 50 also you are parsing on what exactly because the 21 million include lots of buffs so if you parse 45k without bonuses Than that's amazing
@@yassinhafez1337 what does parse mean.
@@r0guetwinz it's like when you see your results against practice dummies you won't need them unless you want to apply for end game pve content
@@yassinhafez1337 ahh I see. I love this game I just wish I knew a bit more about it
@@r0guetwinz I can help you with it I play in pc EU I also like the game but it is a time sink xD
good guide y'all :)
another cool video, thank you Adam
one thing I don't understand is that I can't get shields or jewels to do research and since I can't I go to the market to buy these things and unfortunately it is expensive and even worse is that I am at level 40 or 41 and I need gold very much, I don't understand why I can't get these things to do research, is it because I have been fighting with bow and arrows ? #Adam Lutz
Just a quick suggestion. While the video is perfectly audible, I had to turn up my system and my headphones to max to have a decent volume level. Maybe try and adjust the level for future videos so its a little louder.
“It’s not just a bunch of fetch quests”
Objective update
“Fetch Lyris Titan-born”
“Fetch Abnar Tharn”
“Fetch Sai Sahan”
“Fetch Amulet of Kings”
And so on.
And for those who want to play it just for the lore?
the only thing that pisses me off in the game is the guards / companions are always late to the fight id love to see a npc 10v10 or alteast more of it
Find a good guild, not every guild is going to work out. Research the hardest to get and most used traits first, the research time can kick you in the teeth if you don't plan out the trait order to research. Also unlock the ability to research 3 traits at a time and the time reduction as soon as possible. Get the undaunted skill line maxed out early, I didn't start running dungeons until long into champion points level 500.
Go in pvp as a werewolf the most funniest thing I’ve done definitely overpowered but it’s whatever soon as you get cp you get ass blasted
Oh shit !!! I haven't upgraded my mount for like 2 weeks 🐭
