From scratch that’s what I have shared ma or sir, You can also read through this maybe this helps more First are you a nurse THE NEXT STEP IS 👇🏾👇🏾 Identify the Immigration Program that suits you: (a.) Unlike UK that is 3 months. Make No mistake Canada is Patience....
Thank you Nurse ofela for all the information,I am a Nurse from Nigeria I have plans of coming to Canada through schooling this year a diploma program in newbrunick, and am about to start NNAS verification, I am a bit confused, I have gone through the NNAS handbook, for the education form, am I to send to all the schools have attended or only one of the schools. I Am RN,RM,periop operative Nurse ,BNSC,PGDE in education I am a nurse educator registered with NMCN.
Hello Nurse O’fela, Please to clarify aside the forms the employer has to fill. They are also going to write a detailed description to my job roles right ?on a separate form/sheet.
That should be on the hosp or organization letter head, properly signed ... you should just have this handy, nnas won't require that immediately but they may as you progress and you don't want back and forth
@Nurse O’fela thanks for the videos I watched the part 2 and I really appreciate everything you did . I have one question I just graduated as BNSC and passed my RN this May 2022 can I sign up for this nnas or I have to do one year clinical(internship ) before signing up
Good day nurse O’fela pls is it Ielts Academic or general I will need to drop during my nnas assessment??? I already passed ielts academic but I was told I would be needing ielts general in canada
The academic is what you'd need during your nnas assessment, since you have passed congratulations and weldone, 🤔 nnas may not require you to write ielts academic, once you are able to prove you actually studied in English language
Good morning thank you for the information, I wanted to ask if you get to Canada and work for a hospital, do they teach procedures to you cause I talked to a UK nurse who graduated from Nigeria and he made mention of the fact that the hospital/employer teaches them so procedures assuming they might not know and trying to make them familiar to their hospital policy
Well there is an adaptation procedure for every country, I am not an RN YET, I am a licensed practical nurse and each province also differs in canada, but no for sure that you’d get an adaptation procedure, for example, clpna allows you to work under Supervision once you pass your jurisprudence exam to become an lpn, while you are working with a provisional license and under supervision, you are learning their processes here and adapting that way, for RN, you would be required to do bridging courses most times, while you are at that, you are going to take some clinical and practical courses, that way you are also adapting.. but In any case, whatever you are not sure of as In procedure, the rule here is to consult the procedure manual as well as talk to your supervisor about it, it’s not a sin to discuss such,
Hello NurseOfela thank you for all the information you share, it is really helpful. Please I want to know if there is any Canadian university that offers top up degree programs to diploma nurses and midwives to become Bsc holders
Tops up none that I have heard of. What we have is the after degree program, which is only for bnsc holders, you can come In to take some 1year/2years courses like Nursing leadership in Conestoga College, palliative care , gerontology nursing . Those work too, as immigration pathway to Canada
I am medical doctor trained outside canada.graduated More than 10 years ago.im interested to change career to nursing.do i need to do a pre requisite course again when I'm in Canada??
The after degree nursing program covers that, and yes you may need the pre requisite courses, because nurses from Nigeria who went back to school here for same program still did, however you can send an Email of enquiry to U of A , university 0f Alberta or U of C , university of Calgary or other ones that offers the program
I've researched online, maybe I'm checking the wrong one but I've seen different school that offer BSN DEGREES if you have RN it's like what you did when you went to Babcock after going to a nursing school
Please what if I do not have up to one year working experience and no PR but applying for a study visa, what do I do as I cannot register with NNAS yet?
I love you and I love your videos they are rich and really helpful, you said their is age range, so am above 40year does it means the migration and working in Canada can't work for me? or is there a way I can go about it? thank you
Thanks for the kind words, it can work but your chances of coming in via express entry is low due to the age, however coming in as a student works for all age range.. or using a spousal permit or open work permit
Hello Nurse O'fela.God bless you for sacrificing your time just to make things easier for us.My question is, can the trust sponsor me in to relocating to Canada with my family after getting every process done? Which route is suitable for me to take please.Thank you as I wait for your kind response.
Hii Mam. I have do 2 years License Practical Nursing (LPN) program after matric. I have 7 years experience of multiple departments as a LPN in National Hospital DHA Lahore. Can I apply for a job of LPN in Canada from Pakistan?????
Thank you for this video. I have a Basic midwifery certificate and a post basic nursing certificate, will I qualify to apply as an RN in Canada?? Please I need clarification
There are agencies here for nurses, too Many actually . But facilitating a Nurse travel from Nigeria is what I have never seen, Canada is too proud, they can’t employ you from Nigeria without ensuring that you fulfil all requirements, do NNAS assessment, go for bridging courses if stated or do the exams here as directed by CLPNA OR CARNA
I’d say education, if you are still very young less than 30, you can try Express entry , but personally from experience of people close to me, I feel education works faster, yeah tedious as you have to work and school , I feel It saves you more time of having to wait for express entry.. and the higher your qualifications, like have msc instead of bnsc the more your Chances, there are other factors that give you point too like your age, your families here and the likes … EDUCATIONAL ROUTE FOR ME 🤣🤣
I forgot to add that agencies pay more here, for example if government or private pays 25dollar per hour for a licensed practical nurse, agencies can pay from 40dollars above for the same position. However, there are also pros and cons to working with agencies which I’d share once I am done with the second part of this video
@@NurseOfela please dear sis, I will like you to throw more light on this educational route because that is what I want. I have taken time to look at the post graduate certificate and bridging courses pathway but it seems confusing to me. Please I'd really appreciate if you put me through and give me the best option and guide there is . Thank you
Thanks sis for this information,it's quite interesting. Pls I need an advice or question based on my results. I av the following results, Registered nurse 2006, Registered midwife 2010, Bnsc 2020 and Registered Accident and Emergency Nurse 2021. Now my question is which among the results will be best to start with for processing, thanks sis
Most times the post basics we have do not really amount to a lot here, The experience counts or matters in some organization, but it’s not generally considered comparable to their standards
Lol I am the only consultant here and if you watch that video closely you'd find all your answers, except you need a step by step guide which now becomes a consultation.. the first thing you need is to get a suitable immigration pathway!
Great content… new subscriber here. Thanks for the info. You mentioned something about using laptop to upload forms? I thought all documents were to be sent through courier.. and secondly, pls how did you send your proof of identification
Using the laptop to read on the website , to access the website, to download the forms not to send the forms o😃😃😃 and some people also stated they were able to send their form via email , like the school sent the form via emails directly,.. I will advise courier anytime any day! They have loads of unread emails trust me !!
Oh really.. to download the form😄.. my bad.. thank you. I’ll send mine using courier then. Okay but I can send the notarized proof of identification via email , if I understood you correctly.. yea?
Yeah but wait till they ask of that , plus are you making plans to come here yet I mean get a work permit here or a permanent residence that is of utmost priority
Please ensure to pick English language as your first language once you start filing the NNAS form, that MAY SAVE YOU FROM WRITING THE ENGLISH EXAM IELTS
Well NNAS requires that you Have some work hours that you’d fill into the form, I can’t remember for sure, you can please check the NNAS handbook via Their website to get the hours certainly. After fulfilling all requirements, you do not need a work experience here first before you can be employed, however employers differs some may want you to have an experience in a certain field, be certain that someone else will Be willing to train you
No please you can’t apply for nursing straight from Nigeria, but when you get here you can actually study nursing here for 2years , I’d do a video to explain thus better hopefully today
Hi nurse O’fela thank you for your well explained and detailed information, have been your follower and must commend you are doing well. Please I want to ask if an internationally trained nurse(Nigeria) come with a study program for palliative care nursing after completion of program then went to write nclex outside the Canada will the nurse be eligible for an RN?
Yes they will be eligible as rn in canada but not in all provinces Only Ontario takes nclex written outside of canada for now, Alberta says they can but I am yet to see that in action.. for ONTAIRO THE ROAD IS CLEAR, thanks for the compliment
Any nurse willing to practise in Canada just start with nnas every other thing will follow once they get their advisory report from nnas Here is a link to know more about the nnas assessment ruclips.net/video/yzg8YAZ-mB4/видео.html
Hi Beautiful please. Watch this video to get an overview of how the Canadian immigration works and which will best work for you as we discussed a lot of the immigration pathways
Not to be employed ke nooo🤣🤣 my next video should answer this actually, you may not work as a nurse but you’d get something doing hca psw. And the likes
Thank you dear colleague for this wonderful information, God bless you. I have a question! What are the ways through which one can become a LPN/RN after Masters in Nursing in Canada
Oh if someone has masters in nursing in Canada or you mean the person has masters in nursing from Nigeria, if it’s from Nigeria then they can try express entry, provincial nomination also works, once they get that or about to, they can begin the NNAS PROCESS
@@NurseOfela does this mean you don't have to go through NNAS to be able to work and please what is the best way one can get a school for this masters programme
@@NurseOfela does this mean you don't have to go through NNAS to be able to work and please what is the best way one can get a school for this masters programme
As a student I am not sure of that because your student visa will not cover the whole Of Your family.. however you may need to talk to an immigration consultant on this and proper guidance too, if you do not mind, I can connect you to two people in Canada here who are consultants
Good morning, this is informative lecture, my question is can individual with diploma in Nursing apply to work in Canada? Secondly I expected you to tock about life expectancy their like house rent how much does it cost one per month? As well how much Canada paying nurse annually? As well Ma, as a Nigerian nurse aiming to work in Canada how can I first start my verification process? because I don't understand what you said about it. Thank you
To work in Canada , one cannot apply from Nigeria, that’ isn’t achievable at least not yet, but someone with RN CAN WORK AS a NURSE HERE WHEN THEY FULFIL ALL REQUIREMENTS, either by practising as a licensed practical nurse like I am doing after writing the jurisprudence exam and CPRNE or go for bridging courses then take nclex to become RN, rn can also take the after degree nursing program here to get their licenses as Canadian RN, you can watch this video for more info on that ruclips.net/video/NFWTpK1ZdKI/видео.html Got more questions do let me know
@@NurseOfela what is their requirements then. As well going inline with what you wrote does that mean one can not apply while here in Nigeria must she/he comes to Canada?
One can apply, I mean one can start the processes needed to become a nurse here while in Nigeria but unlike Uk where you can get the employer to do some things for you to facilitate your going to Uk , canada doesn’t do all that , you can start your application process but will not be able to get a job till you are in Canada and have finished all the requirements
You can migrate as a fresh graduate . Your options will be the after degree nursing program OR CHOSING PROVINCES THAT ALLOWS NURSE TO CHALLENGE NCLEX STRAIGHT WITHOUT NECESSARILY GOING FOR BRIDGING COURSES . I’d share the link to all I have mentioned
If you want to go with the route of CHOSING the best provinces you’d need to start with this the NNAS ASSESSMENT ruclips.net/video/yzg8YAZ-mB4/видео.html GOT QUESTIONS PLEASE REACH OUT TO ME VIA THE COMMENT SECTION THANKS
Someone sent this on my group, I listened because I felt someone may need it if I need to share. Information are helpful but try not to reveal information like doing some stuff yourself eg writing your job description, the video is going everywhere. One Luv
There is no harm in writing your own job description if you have been given a power of attorney or an authority from your boss .. still carries the letter head of the hospital, still carries his or her signature so yeah... but maybe I reason from your angle ,it's the way to go to avoid stress, or does that mean I'd call everyone who watch back to state some facts do you get😂, .. so yeah thanks for your submission
The same process as we have in this video…. No difference. Get a migration route to migrate here then start the nnas assessment Does the person have just midwifery no rn ?
You talked about 5years of working experience...what will then happened to a RN that just finished school and want to travel to Canada immediately and work as a nurse instead of starting to work in Nigeria
That’s what they ask but doesn’t mean everyone must have that ….. whatever year of experience you have is what you declare or add while filling the forms
Good day. Thank u. I am a registered nurse/ midwife. Leaving outside Canada. A Nigerian. Pls help me list out the steps I need to come to Canada to work. I want to start the NNAMS stage. Pls add me to the WhatsApp group that can help me to avoid errors. Thank you. Pls, help me with steps i

Oh really.. to download the form😄.. my bad.. thank you. I’ll send mine using courier then. Okay but I can send the notarized proof of identification via email , if I understood you correctly.. yea?
Yeah but wait till they ask of that , plus are you making plans to come here yet I mean get a work permit here or a permanent residence that is of utmost priority
Pls what documents are to be notarized? Thank
www.nnas.ca/ you'd find the document to be notarized therein
Is age a barrier in practice in Canada. I am over 50. Can I still practice in Canada.
Are you still in Nigeria
Thanks so much for this information....
I'm a Nigerian but i got my bsc in nursing from the Philippines.....Does this same processes apply?
Thanks
Yes please same process apply as long as you are processing Canada, you’d have to go through NNAS
Please ensure to pick English language as your first language once you start filing the NNAS form, that MAY SAVE YOU FROM WRITING THE ENGLISH EXAM IELTS
Do i necessarily need to have experience to work in Canada as a nurse?
Well NNAS requires that you Have some work hours that you’d fill into the form, I can’t remember for sure, you can please check the NNAS handbook via Their website to get the hours certainly. After fulfilling all requirements, you do not need a work experience here first before you can be employed, however employers differs some may want you to have an experience in a certain field, be certain that someone else will
Be willing to train you
Good day am a licensed nurse with experience so what do I do to migrate to Canada
By watching this video you'd understand the one you commented on
Can I start NNAS processing while doing internship?
Yes if you wish to claim zero hours
Thank you ma
However having an immigration pathway Is the most important as well
I learnt you have a whsapp group for nurses who wants to migrate to Canada. please can you kindly share the link? Thank you
Not for those willing to migrate but those who have started their nursing licensure procesesb
I have first degree in fisheries and aquaculture in nigeria 🇳🇬.. can I apply for RN directly from nigeria without any nursing background in nursing
No please you can’t apply for nursing straight from Nigeria, but when you get here you can actually study nursing here for 2years , I’d do a video to explain thus better hopefully today
@@NurseOfela thank you for responding 🙏 ❤
@@estheraluko278 also watch out or turn on the notification bell for my RUclips update today
@@NurseOfela thanks for the reply. Is it the regulatory body in Ontario that will notify or instruct the nurse when to write the nclex as nnas does?
@@NurseOfela lastly if one already wrote nclex before coming to Ontario without study in Canada is the nurse eligible to RN in Ontario?
Any nurse willing to practise in Canada just start with nnas every other thing will follow once they get their advisory report from nnas
Here is a link to know more about the nnas assessment

Hello, I just completed my diploma in nursing awaiting my licence (rn). What is the best route to immigrate to Canada ?
Hi Beautiful please. Watch this video to get an overview of how the Canadian immigration works and which will best work for you as we discussed a lot of the immigration pathways

@@NurseOfela pls can you add me to the watsapp group
Have you started nnas
Is it possible to not be employed after NNAS assessment?
Not to be employed ke nooo🤣🤣 my next video should answer this actually, you may not work as a nurse but you’d get something doing hca psw. And the likes
Wait on my next video Ife you sef edit na just getting home
From work 😫😫😫
Thank you dear colleague for this wonderful information, God bless you.
@@NurseOfela no I meant Masters in Canada
If you have a masters here like do masters here you are baba na 😀😀😀 you should be able to get even administrative nursing jobs
@@NurseOfela does this mean you don't have to go through NNAS to be able to work and please what is the best way one can get a school for this masters programme
@@NurseOfela does this mean you don't have to go through NNAS to be able to work and please what is the best way one can get a school for this masters programme
Thank you Ife. Please can I migrate with my family as a student?
As a student I am not sure of that because your student visa will not cover the whole
Of Your family.. however you may need to talk to an immigration consultant on this and proper guidance too, if you do not mind, I can connect you to two people in Canada here who are consultants
@@NurseOfela I'll really appreciate that. Thank you.
Could you please reach out to me via Instagram dm my Ig acct is @ife_ofela so we can exchange contact
Thank you
To work in Canada , one cannot apply from Nigeria, that’ isn’t achievable at least not yet, but someone with RN CAN WORK AS a NURSE HERE WHEN THEY FULFIL ALL REQUIREMENTS, either by practising as a licensed practical nurse like I am doing after writing the jurisprudence exam and CPRNE or go for bridging courses then take nclex to become RN, rn can also take the after degree nursing program here to get their licenses as Canadian RN, you can watch this video for more info on that
ruclips.net/video/NFWTpK1ZdKI/видео.html
Got more questions do let me know
@@NurseOfela what is their requirements then.
Please watch my two recent RUclips videos how to start is right there also read the info in the description box that will help thanks
U asked about house rent 🤣🤣🤣 don’t be in a hurry we do that when we talk about the cost of living in canada
Can you migrate as a fresh graduate? Or do you need working experience?
You can migrate as a fresh graduate . Your options will be the after degree nursing program OR CHOSING PROVINCES THAT ALLOWS NURSE TO CHALLENGE NCLEX STRAIGHT WITHOUT NECESSARILY GOING FOR BRIDGING COURSES .
I’d share the link to all I have mentioned
For the after degree nursing program here is a link for a guide on how to go about it
ruclips.net/video/NFWTpK1ZdKI/видео.html
For the BEST PROVINCES FOR NURSES IN CANADA
ruclips.net/video/Nnlc0YTVAOU/видео.html
If you want to go with the route of CHOSING the best provinces you’d need to start with this the NNAS ASSESSMENT

GOT QUESTIONS PLEASE REACH OUT TO ME VIA THE COMMENT SECTION THANKS
Someone sent this on my group, I listened because I felt someone may need it if I need to share. Information are helpful but try not to reveal information like doing some stuff yourself eg writing your job description, the video is going everywhere. One Luv
There is no harm in writing your own job description if you have been given a power of attorney or an authority from your boss .. still carries the letter head of the hospital, still carries his or her signature so yeah... but maybe I reason from your angle ,it's the way to go to avoid stress, or does that mean I'd call everyone who watch back to state some facts do you get😂, .. so yeah thanks for your submission
Which ielts do i need as a nurse?
For immigration general
For licensure academics however nnas know longer requires ielts
How can a registered midwife from Nigeria migrate to Canada ma
The same process as we have in this video….
No difference. Get a migration route to migrate here then start the nnas assessment
Does the person have just midwifery no rn ?
@@NurseOfela i have 3years RM license coupled with 18month post basic general nursing (
That’s rn rm …. Yeah that works
@@NurseOfela thank u Soo much ma for the info
Thank you for the update ma’am
What if it’s only just Midwifery ( Diploma in Midwifery)
You talked about 5years of working experience...what will then happened to a RN that just finished school and want to travel to Canada immediately and work as a nurse instead of starting to work in Nigeria
That’s what they ask but doesn’t mean everyone must have that ….. whatever year of experience you have is what you declare or add while filling the forms
Yeah sure Rn can … are you aware of the RUclips live we have April 9 please make sure to attend we’d discuss more .. thanks

Great 👍, but please does age also count in applying as a nurse ?
Applying as a nurse, ? Are you a registered nurse in Nigeria or you are looking at venturing into nursing once you get here
@@NurseOfela , yes,I'm a registered nurse with BNSc in Nigeria
@@abiodunoni2492 so age doesn’t count to apply as a nurse, age only matters during the EXPRESS ENTRY when you are really processing your immigration
