Hey guys, Dr. Luther has made it very easy for everyone to pass the CNA test, i just passed my writing with great help from him. He is the solution to all nursing licenses
@mispetiafranca1691 do you have LPN license from your country before? If yes, apply to NNAS for credentials evaluation, get your advisory report and port to CNO where you'll will be given att to write your board exam- Rex-pn
Thanks and appreciate 🙏 Note that there are now few changes to NNAS. You can now apply to Nova scotia college of nursing, college of registered Nurses of Alberta without NNAS. For British Columbia, you can use either NNAS or other Canadian certified evaluation body like WES, ICAS, ICES etc for your evaluation.
Hey guys, Dr. Luther has made it very easy for everyone to pass the CNA test, i just passed my writing with great help from him. He is the solution to all nursing licenses
Thank you so much for the analysis, this is the best have seen so far. My application still under review from cgfns and am planing to write nclex. Can I start with nnas, because I have 3 years diploma in nursing from Nigeria
Absolutely, start your NNAS application and add LPN and RN when filling. Also, choose ontario and newbrunswick province for your regulatory body. Thanks
Thank you so much for your time. I really appreciate you. Worth subscribing to. My dream country is America . The good thing is I don't have to write NCLEX twice. If I am transfering to Canada.
I have a cousin who never studied much, we studied together but she gives most of her time to her phone than her studies after writing the nclex test last month she passed and i failed😢, i asked her how she did it, just found out she got help from Mrs Theresa
The truth is most FNP's,A-GNP's, ENP's and NP's you see today passed with Theresa's help, my sister passed thanks Theresa and I'll be sitting for my exam in two weeks, I'm studying what Theresa provided already i trust her and i know with her I'll pass
Wow I'm surprised to see Theresa mentioned here, i worked with her few years back and i passed Nclex, I'll be going for nurse practitioner exams and she's gonna be my back bone
Hi Nurse O, this video has been so helpful . Please do you need experience to evaluate with NNAS. I’m qualifying in January and I want to start the process as soon as possible
Thank you very much Nurse O, for your detailed analysis 🙏 it's awesome! I am a registered Nurse with diploma from Nigeria, however I am currently practicing in the UK 🇬🇧, I have applied to start my top up Nursing degree and will be starting this September, I have been researching for information and guidance like yours on how to go about Canada process and I'm very happy I came across this video. Please my questions are. I) Do you advise I continue with getting my degree even as I start my Canadian journey; The degree course will last for 16 months 2) If I continue with getting my degree, then I will start the process with my diploma certificate, is there a place I can add up my degree certificate if I get it or would I have passed the stage by then 3) I will like to explore the CGFNS route to Canada as a RN even with my diploma certificate, how long do you think the whole process will take. 4) Should I still apply to NNAS for the LPN and RN evaluation and get the not comparable for RN before transferring my license from US to CNO Ontario, or is it no longer necessary to register with NNAS if I'm going through CGFNS PS# I don't want to sit down and just be on the process, I want to use the waiting time to start and get my degree; what's your take on it, I will appreciate your response 🙏
Thanks for the compliment 1. I'd advise you to pursue your degree cos it'll help you to have a good evaluation report if you do need it ( for provinces like ontario, newbrunswick, British Columbia) and also, it will assist you find good nursing job when time comes . 2. I'm not sure at the evaluation level, but it is not impossible as long as your report hasn't been issued. Same with when you're with the nursing regulatory board . 3. I highly recommend that you evaluate your credentials with CGFNS, send your report to Texas BON, Massachusetts or New York to request att, pass your Nclex and then transfer to Canada. This is what I'll highly recommend if you have the financial capability. 4. NNAS is not a must for all provinces now, if you've passed your NCLEX from US, you can apply directly to the following Nursing regulatory board, novascotia, Alberta, newbrunswick and Newfoundland . There's no need to do credential evaluation being a nurse from UK
This was amazing, Nurse O! Thank you so much! I just have one question. Please for someone who went through the US route with an RN diploma from Nigeria and a top up BSN in the UK, good IELTS result and has gone through the CGFNS process and passed NCLEX, do I still have to start from NANS or just submit my documents (CGFNS report etc) to the regulatory body of whatever province I’m interested in Canada like BC and Ontario? I would truly appreciate any form of guidance I can get. Thank you again!
@EmekaOUzo thanks for watching. Every regulatory board has their requirements. For Ontario, if you're not registered in any other Canadian jurisdiction, then NNAS is a must. I strongly advise that you should apply with NSCN, just pay the application fee of 57.50, transfer your license from US, and get licensed to become a Canadian RN. You can then transfer from Nova Scotia to other Canadian provinces of your choice, not as an outsider but as a Canadian applicant. You can message me on ig @ o_funky1 for more guidance.
That was before, but now some nursing regulatory board had come up with other evaluation bodies such as WES, ICAS, ICES, and CES, but you need to know what each province accepts before you proceed. NNAS is still universally acceptable in all Canadian provinces.
Hi nurse O, please you know Nigeria does not give LPN, Is just RN from college nursing. So are they the same, like just putting LPN cause you did thorough practical? Regards
Thanks for watching 👀. If I get your question right, as a Nigerian RN, you can use your license to get eligibility for either LPN or RN in Canada following your credential assessment. You don't need to take an extra course to become an LPN if only you get somewhat comparable reports from NNAS. You can message me on ig @ o_funky1 if you need further clarification
Hi, Thank you for this piece. Please kindly advise as follows 1. If I want to go through the CGFNS route which do I do in order of priority? CGFNS first or NNAS ? 2. If after registering with NNAS will I be required to evaluate my credentials while still in the process of CGFNS? 3. What chances do I have as RN/RMN Nigeria trained and currently UK RMN. Do I still need to provide proof of English test? Is it the general or academic IELTS ? 4.if after I've been accepted by my province of choice how then do I migrate to Canada from oversea? Thank you
Thanks for watching the channel Going through US route is a shorter way of getting your eligibility for att which sometimes might take longer to get in Canada and the benefit of this is that once you've passed from US, just transfer to CNO regulatory board who will accept this to bridge any educational gaps you might be having and also, fulfill the examination requirement . NNAS is totally different from CGFNS, although NNAS still sends our transcript to CGFNS but it's a two different application at that time. There's no order to which one you can do first infact you can initiate the application same day if you have the financial capability. At NNAS, you don't need any proof of English proficiency however, you might be required to provide either celban results ( can only be done in canada) or academic ielts but you can request for waiver from the nursing regulatory board you're applying to by getting a reference letter from your employer that you can communicate in English language. Migrating to Canada is another process entirely, you can apply for express entry( preferably), come through Student route or apply for work permit. I have videos on express entry ( permanent resident) and students pathway on my channel already, pls watch and let me know if you have further questions. For work permit, I don't have much information on this but you can apply for job from UK then look for employer that can process your application for you . Thanks
Before, NNAS is the only available credential evaluation body for all internationally educated nurses, but now, so many provinces have grown beyond using NNAS only to accepting other reports from other education assessment body such as WES, ICAS, ICES etc but you need to find out first what the province you're applying to accepts.
Hi, Thank you very much for this information, I really appreciate it. My question is if I use New York BON that does not require CGFNS to get my RN after passing NCLEX. Do I still need to do NNAS or CGFNS?
Yes, if you're considering CNO. There are other provinces that don't require credential evaluation again, but you need to check their website to see if your country is exempted. You can try provinces like Alberta or Nova Scotia. If your country is not among the expedited list, you can also use other ECA bodies, preferably IQAS instead of NNAS. Once again, verify with the nursing regulatory board of your choice to see what you'll need as requirements for registration keep changing
Yes, that's the closet. If you're from any of the designated countries listed under the novascotia website, I'd advise you to register with them to get att, then you plan towards immigration. Let me know if you further need help
Hello, is it better to write nclex first before registering with CNO after “Not comparable “ from NNAS or I can go ahead and register with CNO first before nclex
Thanks so much for the video. It was well detailed. I’m a Nigeria RN. Please I need help with the process for bridging program. Can you do a video on that or how do I reach you personally
You can message me on ig @ o_funky1 Usually, the nursing regulatory board will send you all the gaps you have, and you can then apply to schools suggested by them to have those courses completed.
Hi, thanks for the informations. I have some questions. Can i apply for the US route as a new graduate BSN with no work experience? If yes, then after transferring my nclex(rn) to a cno and go through express entry, can i be able to directly apply for a medical school without having to obtain a bachelor degree in Canada?
Thank you for this detail, I applied for Nova Scotia in may do I need to begin my NNAS process since is a long process without waiting for Nova Scotia communication to begin NNAS?
Hello ma’am have been evaluated by NNAS and I wrote my jurisprudence with CNO…….CNO referred me to touchstone institute for IECAP exam and I have the exam for next month and I can’t get even get materials for the exam please help me ma
Unfortunately, I don't have any recommendations for iencap. However, the exam is a standardized evaluation of knowledge, skill, and judgment. Examples are: Three Sample IENCAP MCQ Questions Question 1 A registered nurse is upset because of rude comments made about a client by the colleague. What is the first action the registered nurse should take in this situation? A. Report the colleague’s comments about the client to the unit manager. B. Tell the colleague to self-report the comment as professional misconduct. C. Discuss why this type of comment is inappropriate with the colleague. Answer: C. (Demonstrates an attempt at collaborative problem solving strategies, including conflict resolution. Demonstrates a professional presence and models professional behaviour. Nurses are expected to work collaboratively to solve workplace conflicts.) Question 2 A registered nurse disagrees with the social worker’s discharge plan for a client. What should the registered nurse do? A. Review the recommendations with the social worker providing insight into discharge plan. B. Partner with the social worker to integrate individual views into the discharge plan. C. Offer suggestions to the social worker regarding the discharge plan. D. Inform the social worker that the registered nurse understands the discharge plan best. Answer: B. (Conflict among colleagues can have an indirect influence on the therapeutic nurse-client relationship. Nurses are expected to inform the health care provider of their concern. Nurses must participate and contribute to health care team development through shared problem-solving, and decision-making.) Question 3 A new nurse wants a day off from the hospital where she works but has been denied vacation by her employer. Which organization (group, institution, association) could the nurse use for help in this matter? A. Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario B. College of Nurses of Ontario C. Ontario Nurses’ Association Answer: C. (ONA deals with contract and workplace issues. You could also find more online just as I copied the above from Google. All the best
Thank you for the detailed information Does it mean you will have to immigrate to Canada and write the exams or you will have to write it in your home country before you migrate to Canada
@@nurseo3408hi, you said the nclex exam can be taken in any country. I’m seeing that South Africa has a test center, would taking the exam there cause any issue?
Thank you for your video. I just received my advisory report and got somewhat comparable for lpn and not comparable for RN. Should I register to con for lpn one time or wait til I write and pass NCLEX? I'm currently in the process of applying to write NCLEX with New York
Thanks for the compliment. There's no need to delay your registration with the regulatory board. Create an application and wait for their decision, which might be somehow tedious( asking you to do bridging or IENCAP) but the exciting part is that you've applied with Newyork to request for att and immediately you pass your Nclex just transfer it to CNO and this bridge all the gaps you might have.
@shenelleyards8803 you can apply for RN only now since you are on US pathway to get att already. Sure, CNO will ask you to do bridging or IENCAP before considering you for Nclex, of which if you pass your Nclex from US, it'll automatically waive all your identified gaps that you might be having.
You just have to add another nursing group, and this will cost you additional fee. It's optional though to add LPN but sometimes, it helps you to become certified and become professional while working towards achieving your RN if your report is not comparable. You can dm on ig @ o_funky1 if you need further information
Hello ma'am. Thanks for the information. I have my RN and BNSc degree. I'm looking to go to Canada through the study route (Masters). One of the requirements for admission is to be registered with the nursing board in Canada. Will you recommend that I go through the CGFNS or NNAS process inorder to write NCLEX and transfer to register in a nursing board in Canada?
It all depends on the province you intend to reside in. If you are looking at registering with Nova scotia or Alberta nursing regulatory board, you wouldn't need credential evaluation and you'll possibly get att with either of them. It's not necessary to go through CGFNS now that becoming a registered nurse in canada has been made easier. However, if you're considering CNO, Ontario, you'll still need to go through NNAS.
Yes, but you'll have to re-evaluate the same documents based on courses. Immigration report is slightly different from the education report, but you'll still use the same documents. Make sure you check the nursing regulatory board for the requirements because it's not all Canadian provinces that accept other evaluation reports outside of NNAS.
Thanks for this video. I want to ask, if one is given not or somewhat comparable, and you agreed to go for d bridging courses, can you be allowed to be working as your schooling, maybe as a psw in that same province?
Yes, that's very much possible to be working as psw or hca depending on what they call it in the province. Also, have you considered exploring US route to request att, write and pass your Nclex from the state and transfer to Canada. It's another process but I consider it better to going for bridging courses though it's individual decision but just give it a shot
@@nurseo3408 Okay. Thanks. Well, I'm still in Nigeria trying to immigrate. Will definitely do all of that when I'm in canada. But what job can one find doing immediately one gets to canada cos this nursing route, not so easy. A job i can be doing to clear my nclex, related to nursing, and what credentials will i be using 4 it?
@Charity Okolie being a foreign nurse qualify you to work as hca or psw however, working as hca is not a guarantee to passing nclex exam. You'll need self study or enroll in an online nclex class. I can recommend nclex high yield for content review if you can afford it plus uworld subscription to evaluate yourself You can as well use nclex high yield free resources on RUclips, watch simple nursing for pharmacology if you can't do live class . Let me know if you further need assistance. All the best 👍
Hi. Please I am just coming across this video. Please, how did you get the form to nmcn? Do we have to be in nmcn office physically to give them this form to fill?

I'm a bnsc holder,I chose RN and Ontario as main order,I got u well,u said we should choose both rn and LP to be at the safer side, but I don't know how to put in the LPN, kindly assist
Thank you Yes, the earlier the better. If you don't have work experience, you can just put 0 for the hours and move on with the other requirements such as transcript and license verification
@@nurseo3408 how about students who graduated from countries who don’t license foreigners 😩what are we going to do as we don’t have license verification
There are so many free resources on RUclips that you can use depending on how comfortable you're. I'd suggest that you watch Nclex high yield and simple nursing from Mike. Also, for question bank, uworld is my best recommendation. You can message me on ig @ Ofunky-1
Ma please this Mrs Therasa am hearing everywhere that she helps in passing NCLEX how true is it, what can u say about it Also I have only RN, so how can I get LPN certificate cos I want to start my application to NNAS
Thank you so much.please, I have started the nnas application. For the employment form, is there another form the employer should also attach apart from the nnas form?
You're welcome. No, just the form only has to be filled by your supervisor or manager, stamped or seal if available then send directly from them not you.
Came across this video and it was really helpful. Thanks alot. Though I would like to ask a question. So I was wondering..an applicant has a time frame of 12months to provide necessary informations required by NNAS and can also renew for a fee if unable to meet up. Please will the 12months start counting when the applicant have created an account with NASS or after making payment. OR is it that before considering opening an account an applicant must be ready to pay the mandatory fees immediately. Thank you.
Thanks for the compliment. NNAS time frame begins on the day you make payment. If you've submitted all the required documents and your AR is not out within the 12months, it's not your responsibility to renew, NNAS itself will extend the validity period so as to process your report accordingly.
I'd say yes depending on the province you intend to register with. For CNO, Manitoba, Saskatchewan NL, you still need NNAS but for Nova scotia, Alberta, you can register directly to their nursing regulatory board
Hello, Cgfns is for US application if you're thinking of getting att from USA board of Nursing to hasten your being a nurse in canada ( to avoid going bad to school possibly, or avoid doing further nursing competency assessment such as OSCE in case you have not comparable report from NNAS) NNAS is a MUST for all IENs seeking their RN licensure in Canada except now that there is alternative to NNAS if you're considering getting licensure from BCCNM
Good day. I do have a bunch of employers I have worked with. If I may ask, is it all my employers should make the letter or just the recent one? Thank you very much ❤❤😊
Hi ma, what of with this issue of the new verification. I’m a PR already to move to Canada with my RN from Luth how do I continue in Canada to work or school
Since you have PR, there's no point in schooling again. Just move in and start working as anything I'd say pending the time you'll be able to verify your license. I'm not sure there's a shortcut to license verification at the moment.
Thanks for the detailed information, am a Nigeria RN , just passed my Us nclex, i need your advise on how i can proceed to become canada RN and best routes to migrate to canada whether study route or getting agency job
Plz through out this process, are you suppose to have a job already in Canada or wait to be accepted before you look for job or you automatically get a job after being accepted.thank you
In addition to this question please? Let’s say a decision has been taken by BCCNM and you’ve been given a provisional licence, how do you possibly apply for a visa when you haven’t been given a job offer yet? Or can one just apply for a visa when BCCNM makes a decision?
You are a God sent to me sweetheart, thank you so much. I’m currently in Saskatchewan Canada now and am considering processing my nursing nclex through US board of nursing. Please how long does it take to complete this and how do I transfer my license into Canadian license?
Thanks for the compliment. Completing your CGFNS application and getting your CES Report depends on how fast you're able to send your transcripts to them. No definitive time but hopefully within 2-3months. For the transfer, pls watch my video on how to transfer your US license to Canada 🇨🇦
@ameh joy exam can be taken in canada. There are lots of centres here, just check for available dates and choose when it's convenient for you. Going through US is another route to request att if you feel you can afford it, saves you money and time for completing bridging courses instead
Thank you for your concern mam.I have one more question actually i tried general training and I got only 5.5. Is it suitable for NNAS requirements. Otherwise I will take academic for this process or general IELTS is enough to this process.please mam give me a suggestion what is suitable for NNAS.5.5 score is okay for this.
The good thing now is that proof of English proficiency is NO longer required to have your advisory report from NNAS however, you'll still need academics ielts when you get to the nursing regulatory board although this depends on which province you're applying to. CNO have various ways through which you can proof this, either through study in Canada or you're coming from English speaking country like US, UK, etc or you're already in canada working as PSW or HCA. Province like Newbrunswick doesn't require any English as long as your education was in English Ielts required score-L7, W6.5, R6.5, S7
For CNO, yes. If you choose other provinces like novascotia and Alberta, and you're under the expedited countries listed on their website, then you do not need NNAS at the moment.
Hi Nurse O I’m an RN in Nigeria with a Diploma, I’m currently in Canada Can I still go through the the CGFNS route? If yes, Will I be allowed to write the NCLEX without a Bsc? Also if I can’t do the CGFNS from Canada, As a RN with diploma, what do you advise, Do I just go ahead to do my Bsc here or still go through the NNAS route? Please advise
Well, with or without BNSc, you'll be allowed to write Nclex from the US as long as you're in good standing with your nursing regulatory board in your country. Going through US route seems better and more economical than starting BNSc in canada. Although, you'll still need to do that later cos most employers, including government, give preferences to degree holders. You can start your CGFNS application at any time and anywhere. Going through NNAS now is a waste of money as there are other provinces that you can register with directly without going through credentials evaluation body- Alberta, Nova scotia nursing regulatory board are few ones that I can suggest now but you will have good luck with them if you've cleared your Nclex from the state. Hope this helps.
@@nurseo3408 Thank you so much sis!🙏🙏 Please I’ll need some guidance during this process, Can I reach out to you on Instagram? I saw a comment where you told someone to reach out to you I would really love to get more information about the CGFNS and the NCLEX in general

Pls what do u advise to do do i go for cfgn evaluation or NNAS or since a college admission to a bow valley college Calgary Alberta Canada should i go ahead and with with the Alberta body how do i go about it pls i need help
Apply directly to college of registered Nurses of Alberta . There's no need to do NNAS with the new pathway provided. Go to college connect online and begin your application
Hello, pls don't get confused. It's advisable to apply for both Lpn and RN so that if RN report is not initially favorable, you can atleast start with LPN pending the time you'll fulfill requirements for RN
Thanks for this detailed information. What about assessing your credentials with ICES, or WES. A group I belong to states that RN or BSC has to be assessed by one of these bodies. I have RN from School or Nursing then went further to do my BSC. If I have already started processing CGFNS, can it still replace the NNAS assessment? I anticipate your prompt response. Thanks.
Thanks for the compliment. Before and till now, NNAS is the only available and acceptable body for evaluating international nurses but hopefully in coming weeks, BCCNM ( British Columbia), one of the nursing regulatory board will be accepting credential evaluation reports from other ECA organizations such as ICAS, ICES, WES which means if you have report from any of the ECA listed, you might not go through NNAS again. In nutshell, WES, ICAS reports are basically for the purposes of immigration if you are considering coming to Canada through Express entry pathway. For your CGFNS, note that NNAS will not accept CGFNS report from you as an individual, I'd advise you continue with it, get your att from USA, write and pass your Nclex then transfer it to Canada, that way, you'll have save more time. I hope this helps. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks
Please if you have already passed the NCLEX-RN exam can CGFNS transfer your license to NNAS and will that make you eligible to practice as an RN in Canada?
Well, things have changed for good more than before. You can now register with Nova scotia college of nursing or College of registered Nurses of Alberta without going through credentials evaluation body. Once you've gotten your Canadian RN license from either of the 2 mentioned provinces, you can then transfer to any province of your choice. NSCN reg.fee is cheaper compared to CRNA anyway, so I'd advise that you reg. with NSCN.
Good day ma, please what do you suggest about this pilot program that is on going for BC and some provinces. Is it same process? Cos the steps are different. Please help me understand cos I have already filled NCAS and am confused.
No need to be confused NCAS is an alternative to NNAS which all international nurses uses for their credentials evaluation but now, using NCAS gives you more opportunities to use any of the following evaluation assessment services, ICES, WES, ICAS etc. After NCAS receives your report from credential evaluation body with your English proficiency results and nursing skills competency assessment ( if required), NCAS will forward your final report to BCCNM who will finally decides whether you're eligible to sit for NCLEX-RN or Rex-PN or you need additional education ( bridging) before you can be considered to sit for your board exam. Hope this helps
@@nurseo3408 okay ma thank you very much. I was confused thinking I wasn’t going through normal processes. I filled their form but they haven’t tell me next step to take . God bless you ma’am.
You can do it online if you've done your professional update form(PUF) Link to NMCN portal for online verification of license is below. After making payment of 69000k, you'll receive email link for you to update your form from NNAS and other requirements for verification licence.nmcn.gov.ng/Account

Hello madam, your video is really helpful.. I am badly in need of your help please. I currently have license in Nova scotch but I don’t know what to do next, do they need English proficiency test ? and if yes which provinces can I go to bypass that?
@AminataJammeh-hj6rg From my understanding, you said you have a license with Nova scotia, so you don't need ielts again. You can easily transfer your license to other province of your choice. With your license, next thing is to begin working
Thanks for the video. As a International diploma registered nurse, after credential evaluation and was given LPN in Canada, can I write NCLEX RN ? Or must I get a degree first before taking the exam in Canada
You'll possibly get eligibility for LPN after fulfilling some additional requirements but for RN in Canada, you'll need either bridging program or OSCE exam completed before considered to sit for RN exam.
Yes, you can. Alternatively, you can go through US and register with few board of Nursing that do not require license verification. Try newyork or Virginia. Once you've passed your NCLEX, then you can transfer it to Nova scotia College of Nursing, Canada
Hey guys, Dr. Luther has made it very easy for everyone to pass the CNA test, i just passed my writing with great help from him. He is the solution to all nursing licenses ❤❤❤❤
Please nurse O I applied PGD in International Nursing License Preparation. In Ontario college I hope I made the best choice. And it’s the same process to get my license in Canada ? I have submitted my letter of experience and my transcript from my university
PGD program will enable you to migrate as a student, but it's different from getting your license. You need to determine which nursing regulatory board you want to register with, then apply for licensure with them. For Ontario, you can consider CNO, but you'll need credential assessment with NNAS before being allowed to apply with CNO. There are other regulatory bodies you can try that are less expensive, e.g, CRNA, NSCN. Let me know if this answers your question

Thanks and appreciate 🙏
Note that there are now few changes to NNAS.

@annabel chima thanks for subscribing. Yes, Nclex pass once is forever as long as you don't have 10 years gap in practice 🙄

Nice video 🖼📸📸 Honestly....the nclex test is very difficult to pass, I can't believe i failed after studying with so many materials😞
Sometimes it doesn't matter how hard you study you also need to pray to God for success
@ very correct
I) Do you advise I continue with getting my degree even as I start my Canadian journey; The degree course will last for 16 months
2) If I continue with getting my degree, then I will start the process with my diploma certificate, is there a place I can add up my degree certificate if I get it or would I have passed the stage by then
3) I will like to explore the CGFNS route to Canada as a RN even with my diploma certificate, how long do you think the whole process will take.
4) Should I still apply to NNAS for the LPN and RN evaluation and get the not comparable for RN before transferring my license from US to CNO Ontario, or is it no longer necessary to register with NNAS if I'm going through CGFNS
PS# I don't want to sit down and just be on the process, I want to use the waiting time to start and get my degree; what's your take on it, I will appreciate your response 🙏
Thanks for the compliment
@@nurseo3408 thank you ma’am! Sent a dm
Thank you so much for this.
Please is NNAS the only evaluation body for Canada
Hi,
Thank you for this piece. Please kindly advise as follows
Thank you
Thanks for watching the channel
Going through US route is a shorter way of getting your eligibility for att which sometimes might take longer to get in Canada and the benefit of this is that once you've passed from US, just transfer to CNO regulatory board who will accept this to bridge any educational gaps you might be having and also, fulfill the examination requirement .
Thanks
Hi I have a usa rn licence do I need to get nnas
Thank you very much for the information ma, please what is the different between WES and NNAS,can WES serve the same purpose as NNAs
I realized the international NCLEX Exam is only held in South Africa as the sole location within the African continent. Please advice. Thank you
Yes, that's the closet.
@aminamohammed377 if you have att from another regulatory board or other country, you can proceed to write Nclex first before registering with CNO RB.

Does it mean you will have to immigrate to Canada and write the exams or you will have to write it in your home country before you migrate to Canada
You can take the exam in any country where nclex is being done. You don't have to necessarily be in canada to write it
Thank you
But can you come over to Canada and work temporarily after the NNAS process before writing the exams to get your license?
You can write your exam in any country where Nclex is being taken
@@nurseo3408hi, you said the nclex exam can be taken in any country. I’m seeing that South Africa has a test center, would taking the exam there cause any issue?
Please when applying for NNAS ,is it a must(compulsory)to put all other qualifications like RM,RPH ?
I'd advise you evaluate anything nursing specifically related like RN, BNSc, MSc. Diploma like RM, RPHN, RPON, etc doesn't really matter.
@@nurseo3408 thank you so much ma 😍
@@nurseo3408 thank you for your response. Should I create an application for both lpn and RN?
@shenelleyards8803 which province do you intend to register with.
@@nurseo3408 Ontario
@shenelleyards8803 you can apply for RN only now since you are on US pathway to get att already. Sure, CNO will ask you to do bridging or IENCAP before considering you for Nclex, of which if you pass your Nclex from US, it'll automatically waive all your identified gaps that you might be having.
Thanks you so much. Please in my case, I did 4years of nursing, so I'm an RN. How can I add the LPN?
Please can an RN that wants to use the express entry route do the WES evaluation instead of NNAS
I can recommend nclex high yield for content review if you can afford it plus uworld subscription to evaluate yourself

@@nurseo3408 okay..thank you. So if I want to create an account alone I can go ahead?

Hi ma, do I have to start the whole evaluation with NNAS again if I want to use the CGFNS route? I look forward for your prompt reply
Hello,
Cgfns is for US application if you're thinking of getting att from USA board of Nursing to hasten your being a nurse in canada ( to avoid going bad to school possibly, or avoid doing further nursing competency assessment such as OSCE in case you have not comparable report from NNAS)
NNAS is a MUST for all IENs seeking their RN licensure in Canada except now that there is alternative to NNAS if you're considering getting licensure from BCCNM
You can message me on ig @ o_funky1 for more info
Okay ma, thanks
Please , the OSCE and NCLEX, do we have to write it in our home country?
Nclex can be done outside of Canada but osce has to be inside.

Congratulations 🎊 on your efforts to pass the NCLEX. To better guide you, do you have any preference for a particular province?

Create an application with CRNA, make payment and then request for transfer of your registration from US to have your license issued
connect.nurses.ab.ca/
Plz through out this process, are you suppose to have a job already in Canada or wait to be accepted before you look for job or you automatically get a job after being accepted.thank you
Either way but employers will prefer to give you job when you're already in canada

Province like Newbrunswick doesn't require any English as long as your education was in English
Ielts required score-L7, W6.5, R6.5, S7
Please if we go through us nclex route do we still need to verify with nnas
For CNO, yes. If you choose other provinces like novascotia and Alberta, and you're under the expedited countries listed on their website, then you do not need NNAS at the moment.

Newbrunswick, Nova scotia if your education is in English language
Hi Nurse O
I’m an RN in Nigeria with a Diploma, I’m currently in Canada
Can I still go through the the CGFNS route?
If yes,
Will I be allowed to write the NCLEX without a Bsc?

Hello, pls don't get confused. It's advisable to apply for both Lpn and RN so that if RN report is not initially favorable, you can atleast start with LPN pending the time you'll fulfill requirements for RN
Requesting for LPN assessment will it require opening another application or can one application asses both RN and LPN
Just a single application is needed, just add LPN and RN when filling your application.
Thanks
@Nurse O Thanks ma for the prompt response. I truly appreciate. I will get you informed how far I go. Thanks ma.
@@franklinifeanyichukwu44 no problem. All the best 👍
Please if you have already passed the NCLEX-RN exam can CGFNS transfer your license to NNAS and will that make you eligible to practice as an RN in Canada?
Nurse o,in my own case i have RN, RM and BSN, do i need to send the transcripts of all of them?
Yes, if you're using NNAS.
Do I add lpn at the beginning of the nnas process or when the report is finish?
You'll have to add it at the beginning of your application so you can get report for both.
Please I have BNSC, registered in Nigeria and UK, please what can I evaluate
No need to be confused
NCAS is an alternative to NNAS which all international nurses uses for their credentials evaluation but now, using NCAS gives you more opportunities to use any of the following evaluation assessment services, ICES, WES, ICAS etc.

Good day ma .. I just finished my RN

Now am confused
I haven’t started working tho
My confusion is if I can start to apply
Where do I apply too ?
As AN RN what should i go to study in canada with my RN
Thanks for watching. Do you have BNSc or diploma in Nursing
@@nurseo3408 yes ma
I just finished here in Nigeria
So I kinda confused and would love your guidance
@@AspkingGAG asking if you completed BNSc or diploma in Nursing to guide you in the choice of program selection
@AspkingGAG if you've done your BNSc before, then you can apply to college and do any of the following courses.
Mental health and addiction
Palliative management
Gerontology etc...
@@nurseo3408 the only one I did was the 3 year course RN diploma
Am asking if I was to come to canada to further my nursing to be recognized by Canada standard what should I apply for
Should it be pgd or BScn cause I just check and now understand that RN IS NOT BSCN
Hello madam, your video is really helpful.. I am badly in need of your help please. I currently have license in Nova scotch but I don’t know what to do next, do they need English proficiency test ? and if yes which provinces can I go to bypass that?
If you're from one of the countries listed on nova scotia website, then you don't need proof of English proficiency.
Am from The Gambia, so which province can I go to for me not to do ILETS ?

Thank you for the feedback
Please what does LPN mean?

Hello ma'am if you have a nursing degree but bo license or working experience can you go through NNAS
After main application for RN, when can one add LPN application? Should one wait after the 2 months or do it along with the RN.
It can be done along with RN, you just need to pay for adding another nursing group.
If you completed your school but do not have the license yet, can you still apply?

Are the reg LPN and jurisprudence exams online or I have to come to Canada to write?
It's online, all can be completed outside of Canada
