Extra tip: 1. Keep all your receipts in soft and hard copies as it will be necessary for reimbursement from your employer 2. Please add in your supporting statements if you have a bachelors degree in nursing especially if you’re applying to a university teaching hospital FAQs 1. Why did I make VISA, FLIGHT etc. payments, did my employer not pay for them? An employer can choose to pay for these or have you pay on your own and reimburse you after arrival to UK. In my case, I paid on my own and my employer reimbursed me less than 3 weeks after my arrival 2. Why did I do proof of funds, did I not get a C.O.S.? An employer can give you a C.O.S. and not tick maintenance. In this situation you will be required to show a proof of funds (the required amount is on the UK Visa and immigration website, your employer will also tell you) for a 28 day period when applying for your VISA 3. What about accommodation? My employer was kind enough to provide free accommodation for a period of 12 weeks after which I am expected to move to my own place
Thanks for the vital information here, now I know that I may still need Proof of funds even with a COS if my employer does not tick maintenance. Wishing you a smooth transition to your new land.
Wow! I downloaded this video some months ago and decided to go through it.... it's well detailed. Thanks ma'am. I've subscribed to your channel. Especially that skill acquisition part got me more.
Thank you nurse Busari I love you You know have been looking for a detailed video to understand this process Have done only step one and I can’t wait to start my journey I’m a registered mental health nurse in Nigeria
Thanks for the information. Kindly drop the link to any NHs Scotland recruiting overseas Most are not recruiting from Nigeria from the update on the site. Hope to hear from you
Hello ma'am, i think its best to go through the numerous applications posted on the nhs scotland website to identify the ones recruiting overseas nurses. the link to the website is in the description of this video.
Thank you so much. This the best concise video that has provided step by step process out of all the jiberish videos I came across before I stumbled upon your video. Really appreciate your insight. Just one question can someone who went to state nursing or who has a diploma have any chance with UK NMC registration ?
Thank you so much for this enlightening video. Please at what point am I expected to upload my health declaration, character and the £153 for registration? Is it before or after I get a job?
Thank you for the information, its self explanatory. Can i come in as a CNA and if yes,can you give ne the steps/procedures/cost. Thank you and a very big congratulations to you in advance in your osce exam🎉
Thank you for the video. I will like you to show us step by step guide, how you answered the application questions on the NHS Scotland app. I have several applications on it with no success. Thank you once again for the detailed video.
I had several other unsuccessful applications on the website too, there is no special way to answer the questions. However, I will recommend that you take more time to fill the last 3 questions where you have to discuss why you feel you are appropriate for the job and how your values aligns with the NHS
Congratulations🎉 Is it mandatory to have a working experience before you apply? Or can i apply immediately after my internship when i got my license as I'm not studying in a red list countries?

Hi ma’am! Thank you so much. Your video was very helpful. Do you have any information on moving with a spouse ?
I am sorry, I don't have information about that as i relocated alone
Thank you so much for this enlightening video. Please at what point am I expected to upload my health declaration, character and the £153 for registration? Is it before or after I get a job?

@@NursingwithLight thank you for the response. I have been doing this. I'll continue to give it my best.
Thanks for the info given, please this statement of purpose comes in 3 part. How do one have a breakdown of the 3 different part when writing.
You can break your Supporting statement into two for the first 2 parts then create a new write-up aligning with the NHS values for the third part.
Can you please do a video coming to Scotland as a midwife. Can you compare the work and the pay
Hello ma’am, I do not know any midwife in Scotland yet but if I find one I’ll be more than happy to make a video about it
Thank you so much ❤❤
But not only sister to sister 😂😂 sister to brother still join
thank you for your comment
Congratulations🎉
Is it mandatory to have a working experience before you apply?
Or can i apply immediately after my internship when i got my license as I'm not studying in a red list countries?
This is entirely dependent on your employer while some trusts will require you to have about 1-2 years working experience other might not
Third🎉🎉. Congratulations
Northern Ireland also uses NHS. HSC is for the Republic of Ireland wich is a different country in Europe. Goodluck with your OSCE🎉
