Becoming a nurse in canada isn’t a child play like you have said, but the good thing is that information are better available now, at least wit h people like me willing to always make the videos, so I’d say it’s worth it at the end , one can at least start as lpn before RN CLICKS

If am not mistaken, you said something about getting a work permit and PR before applying for NNAS,and you also said it’s good to start the NNAs process in Nigeria. How then do I start the NNAS process when I don’t have a work permit or PR??Expecially those coming through the study route
Good day.Thank you for the information. Please I need the copies of Self assessment guide.Thank you.
I'd check if I still have it somewhere...
Okay.Thank you
Thanks so much for the details.
So after getting your PR, and starting your NNAS application, do you need to relocate to start maybe a HCA job before you get your license as LPN,
Nnas is now province dependent, I made a video, check my live sessions those are where to get the updated info on the CanadianRn journey, or my ig reels, I make more updated short videos on ig, NNAS IS NO LONGER REQUIRED FOR ALL PROVINCES PLEASE, lots of factors to consider especially the province before you pay for nnas
You know longer need to get a lPN license, go for straight Rn now. Things have changed
Thank you. I am just confused. Pls can you enlighten me on nova scotia registration that is on going.
We made a video on it
Okay, work permit before Nnas…. Noted
No please, immigration pathways sorted... if specifically it's a work permit you'd like to have then you can also sort nnas alongside like get your license write your exam , I should have a live chat soon to address this, 16th of this month tentatively please wait on that

Hi sis. I will be moving from the UK to Canada and will like to know if there are online courses I could do in Canada to prepare myself for a nursing degree. I am a graduate from Nigeria and I have got got access to Higher education in nursing here in UK. Thanks.
We Have a session coming up soon. 16th of this month please do not miss thatv
Your videos are really educative, am currently in canada for a one year course, am thinking if I should apply for a briding course or I should apply for NNAS. Pls kindly enlighten me.
What course Re you doing, thank you so much
Helo Nurse O'fela so it's after I have
1. Find a route to get to Canada
2. Get an approval after completion of my NNAS assessment
3. Filled a self assessment form
4. Write a module exam and score up t 80%,
5. Then write a Jurisprudence exam
It's after this processes I would be able to get a provisional permit to work.
So after getting the provisional permit how long does it take to wait in order to write the CPNRE to qualify as a LPN?
And how many years is the provisional permit valid for????
This will work if you have chosen two nursing jurisdictions while filling your nnas form, lpn and rn, you process you highlighted is for lpn only . For rn you’d be either asked to do a bridging program or challenge the nclex exam depend on the province you have chosen …
The provisional permit is valid for a year you can write the CPNRE exam anytime you are ready within the one year
@@NurseOfela ok thank you
And rn in some places like. Nova Scotia also get a provisional permit
I'm new on your channel, very helpful though. My question is, what is the difference between RN and LPN. Which is better and what is their entry point. I must comment, i love your charisma, spirit and love for nursing and Nurses. 😘
Thank you so much I really appreciate the kind words, if I may ask are you in Canada already asking because that may facilitate me to respond to your understanding or make me go more indepthb
No
So quick response, let me subscribe and like before I ask my next question, that was awesome
I really don't know much about moving to Canada, i asked and I was told the first thing to do is write IELTS exam, then another exam to qualify as a nurse and that's it, i was so confused and someone told me about you so i decided to check you out which i did not regret. Just still trying to put the puzzle together.
We'd figure it out together and writing ielts isn't the first thing, the first thing is to determine your immigration route,... I'd drop a link for you please watch the video and then decide which immigration pathways will be best for you
Through the study route,is it possible to get a PR and work permit while in Nigeria to apply for NNAs??
please how can one start the application for PR ?
As it was in your video I discovered PR first before NNAS....
I have actually applied for NNAS but still awaiting there Adversory report....
looking forward to your speedy response
Thank you
Nice if you have Started nnas, you can also look into the route of getting a job with lmia, and since you do not have any immigration plan on the way , we have a zoom class coming up for immigration and licensure you'd really benefit from that... send s dm to ife_ofela on ig
Wow your video is inspiring thanks. I studied Agric Economies in Nigeria and am planning of coming to Canada for nursing bt when browsing all i see is prerequisite course pls how do i go abt that since am not in Canada yet.
Thanks for the kind words....
However some of the pre requisite can be taken online, this video explains better

Hello and well done.
1) My question is can I do the NNAS without having any job experience?
It's not that I don't have any job experience but the HR in my former work place is an enemy of progress.
Yes you can do nnas without work experience
Thank you so much for your response.
Is it possible for you to add me to your group though I'm yet to start the nnas but I'm presently in Toronto
Oh sure please send me a dm on ig @ife_ofelw
Good day Nurse O'fela. I've successfully watched the part 1 and 2 of this series to the end and I must say I find your explanations really interesting and compelling. However, I must confess that I do not mind chatting with you one on one in order to skip the hurdles faster. The previous video, you mentioned that NNAS will demand for my school's curriculum. Does it mean I'll send the full booklet or I'll make photocopies for them?
The curriculum is already available in most schools usually a booklet form, and you ain't going to be the one to send the curriculum your school will send it alongside the forms they are filling for you, but you'd be the one to get it from nursing council yourself if you are available to. I am willing to connect more with you, kindly send me a dm via @ife_ofela on ig
@@NurseOfela how can I join the watsapp group pls, I am interested.
You can only join once you begin nnas

How do we get knowledge about questions that would be asked??
Can a single qualified apply...
Knowledge what questions exactly...single qualified yes, but very slim chances
Except you have a bachelors
Good afternoon Nr. Ofela,
am sure it's morning time in Canada now.
That's the Irony of life.
I know you have been busy, and I want to make it easy for you to help me.
I surfed the internet in search for answers to my own questions and this is what I found.
1. If am applying through "express entry" I will have to write IELTS General and if am applying through PNP , (as a Nurse or a Doctor), I would have to write IELTS Academic.
2. With respect to the statement you made in your video concerning whether IELTS is compulsory or not to immigrate to Canada.
I found out that all provinces require IELTS,
except Nova Scotia that does not make it compulsory only
If you can proof that you were taught in English or communication is made in English in your current place of work or
CBL as low as 5.
2. I think PR processes is supposed to commence after you have been given "invitation to apply" which is predicated upon high CRS score
which can be determined by the outcome of your credentials evaluation or Job offer.
So, how can one start PR processes without all the aforementioned ?
Please when you are less busy, you can vet my findings for any corrections.
Thanks very much
Number 1 questions
Express entry is what also gives you a right to provincial normination, so it’s the still the same Ielts general …
ruclips.net/video/gH6RndB1Kpw/видео.html
You can browse through that for further info in PNp
Well that’s why it’s important to first note the province you’d be going to, that’s a priority when coming to canada , because rules here for immigration differs from province to province
Pr process starts with your interest in express entry, the moment you start or are in the pool or process has started cause the end product of expres entry is getting a pr or a provincial normination

Hi, I just watched your video I’m in the my NNAS process and I’m stuck in the Nmcn part I’m not sure of the requirements before I send out my forms.
All the NMCN part goes to NMCN. All the ones for your school of nursing goes to school of nursing...
It should be clearly written on top or below the page of the forms,.. also tell your school to please give you a detailed curriculum very important o aa that's a huge determining factor ....your curriculum must be proper
Thanks for the reply. But I wanted to know if I would pay anything before I send the form to nmcn or just send it directly. And after they fill it they would send it to NNAS.
Pay anything, well you shouldn't, I paid for my transcript that was to my school of nursing. I also paidfor curriculum in nurisng council Yaba, basically things you'd need, not any other payments I supposes ..well your license must be up to date! So maybe that too.
Just follow through with the forms and requirements stated
It's not a joke to be a RN in Canada at all... So u are still a LPN right, if i may ask? Is the process the same if you are a UKRN
I am LPN YEAH, well I am not in uk😃😃 so I can’t tell if it’s the same cause I never tried the uk route, every info you’d need to start working as lpn here or as rn is what I have shared, if you have other questions I’d be willing to answer .. Uk is the easiest so I heard ..
@@NurseOfela okay thanks, but i meant someone that is already a UK RN also trying to migrate to Canada as a Nurse...
Hello sis,I already passed NClex RN USA but i want to move to Canada.please can you guide me
Sure I can ! You’d need to start the nnas process and be sure to choose provinces like Ontario, they take nclex result from the USA , alberta says they’d also take it but I’d pick Ontario over alberta for now so I’d say choose both of them regardless … NNAS IS ALWAYS THE BEST AND FIRST THING TO START WITH..
Thank you ma for this information. I want to ask if it is advisable to enter with a pre health science course from centennial college or how will I go about entering Canada as a nurse.
What course exactly..name? I have highlighted ways to enter Canada. It's left to you to find which one suits you the most. .if you'd like to use express entry or provincial nomination check this
ruclips.net/video/9LAqGEzugnA/видео.html
Hello Nurse Fela, I have a couple of questions.
1. Can you start the NNAS, CFGNs and PR or Work Permit simultaneously.
2. Can the compulsory 1-year internship for BScN serve as the work experience needed for both NNAS and PR as it is a paid work experience.
3. Can you start the NNAS with a temporary license (that's before the completion of the internship or is permanent license given before the completion of internship)?
Question 1 yes you can, for the Canadian nursing licensure I'd always say find an immigration pathways first very important before you begin nnas
Questions 2 not sure about that of pr but yes for nnas ..
I think @canadirectpro mentioned you can watch our video together here ,she is a licensed immigration consultant here ..

@@NurseOfela Thank you ❤️
These questions are what I charge for o ha!! So much questions 😅😅😅..
@@NurseOfela what do you mean by this? that means we must at least be overseas first
Hello O'fela
Thanks for all the information, may I ask if the process is same for a Nigerian nurse with US NCLEX-RN and BSN degree from UK?
What do you think about trying out US NCLEX-RN first? (as the process is much easier) is it advisable to do so? will it make any major difference when one wants to obtain a canadian licence?
Not sure I understand the question fully however if the person has passed nclex they should start their nnas choosing a province like Ontario

Or you Mean you do not have any immigration options yet
I don't have any questions now. Im expecting a work permit from an employer soon. Hope it's good because I will be employed first as PSW Even though I have passed my NCLEX and awaiting nnas review. What other immigration pathway can you recommend?
Since you are expecting that let's wait however you can do the cgfns route too I'd make a video on that this week
@@NurseOfela cgfns for USA ? I have evaluation for that but I just prefer to go to Canada
1) Plz, am currently in Nigeria. Can I register for nnas when my husband hasn't gotten PR in Canada.
Yes you can register for nnas but make sure you have a strong immigration plan in place
Okay thank u so much.
Is this information also applicable to people who have just BSN and not yet licensed?
Yesssss at least they can start as LPN FIRST, NNAS USUALLY ASK FOR THE NUMBER OF HOURS A NURSE HAS WORKED IN HER HOME COUNTRY, but from my assessment, not sure that affects anything, after all, everyone will be sent to do a bridging program 😃😃 or write the ARNAP EXAM TO PROVE THEY ARE QUALIFIED TO TAKE THE NCLEX EXAM…
After all my over 6 years work experience in naija, they still gave me the option of a bridging course so, not sure it affects anything

Cause from what I understood in your explanation (I stand to be corrected) how to get the PR was only explained.Thank you as I await your response.
I do not understand the study’ visa was given to your husband right, ?? Does that automatically give you an access to canada, I am not sure, just trying to get you right
I mean I am trying to digest your questions

I might not get the name of the visa right but he’s about to go for a masters program in Canada which facilitates bringing in his family. So me being his family is what I meant Ma.
Oh sorry,I have been corrected on it. Here goes the question.
How did you one get a work permit when you fall under spousal support?
What you’d get with your spousal permit is a permanent resident oh I think i see it now he has gotten an admission to study his masters here, I’d ask my husband about this and get back to you as soon as possible
hi ife can i start the clpna if i am not in canada
Yes you can and it’s not Clpna you’d start o😀😀😀😀 CLPNA IS THE WHOLE BODY OF LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSES IN ALBERTA , but you can start with nnas and the processes to becoming a RN OR LPN IN CANADA, however also make sure you have plans under way on how to migrate to canada itself or get your pr or your work permit. I anticipate your kind response.

Favour Nwokocha.
Yeah that’s the usual response but your credentials should definitely be somewhat comparable to their lpn standards, which qualifies you to work as lpn initially while you sort your Rn out by either doing a bridging program or writing exams … so did you include lpn assessment??
@@NurseOfela
I actually did not include LPN during the registration, since the report is already out is there anyway I can add it? Or do I need to do a fresh application considering that my documents is still with them.
So have you heard from CLPNA, as regards your Lpn application, CARNA CONTROLS RN APPLICATION, CLPNA controls LPN, so wait for them to also get back to you if they haven’t
