I was surprised the king valve on the discharge line wasn't leaking. Every Heatcraft unit I've came across is leaking there.

Yep, I expected the LP control bellow to be leaking too.

Never clear sight glass until box is at temp. If sight glass is clear adjust the valve to lower that S/H
    Can’t charge refrigeration by superheat
    You are overcharged big time

It’s always going to flash when the box is so warm. The TXV is wide open trying to catch the load
Never evaluate charge until box is at temp
    Just saying

I hope you took a picture of that disconnect the company that turned it off needs to be held responsible for that product loss and any loss of business

im curious if the falling light pole kicked off the condenser, it was close enough to do so

If it did, it picked itself up and rested parallel to the switch to cover its tracks 😂

How cool was the ambient temp? That headmaster low ambient valve was likely bypassing the condenser to maintain head pressure. You’ll see bubbles in the sight glass, discharge gas pushing through liquid. Food for thought. Great videos btw 👍

I feel like that light fell over and hit the disconnext.
Do you use copeland mobile app to identify compressors?
Sight glass bubbles from heavy load.
Thank you for the video buddy

There was no base for that light, It is suspicious being there though 🤔 I usually check through the website. Thanks for checking it out!

Hey, I know you found a disconnect off, but it could’ve been that somebody turned it off because it was making noise or when the defrost and they thought they might’ve been helping out by turning the breaker off because of the noise I think I’ll have to think that one over a while first Before I got some full sucker fired anyway I doubt they’ll find out who did it so good to me I’d be probably some something would do with the fuses in the tightening of electrical or some of that nature but anyway hey, I’m just an old Tallahassee boy my name, Fred I’ll check in with you later

If they did turn it off for noise they sure didn’t inform the kitchen manager.
