I'm a North African Amazigh and I'm really white with light hair (don't debate me I know my whole heritage it's a tradition to keep the heritage known in the families here) and most Amazigh are olive skinned and not even brown skinned but the more you go south the darker the skin tone gets but it's mostly because of the strong sun of the Sahara deserts if they don't interact with the sun, they will get their skin lighten up more. But here's the thing Amazigh is not just North Africans there are Amazigh that are very close to Sub Saharian Africa that have very dark skinned that you could say black but North African Amazigh are olive skinned tanned or white generally. Also, the word Berber is offensive, it's given to us by France and colonialists which meant savages. You only showed footage from very dark-skinned countries on purpose.
The suns rays is not enough to change a person from black to white. What happens if a european lives in africa? Does he go to black? they are light skin 'berbers' that live in the sahara. they haven't changed. First off, ancient Egyptians were people who would be labeled as Black. Africa is a continent of Black people. Egypt is in Africa. Humans of today come from Africa and were around way before any other "race" existed. Therefore, everything dealing with civilization can be attributed to Black Africans. Everyone else were invaders.

Ok. Let me be clear. Not all North Africans are Amazigh. But since this video talks about the Amazigh I’ll bring the definition no one will. The Amazigh are a huge group of several ethnic groups, all native to the Maghreb region of North Africa. And most of them are of course white. And there’s nothing wrong with this. But what people won’t admit is that black Amazigh are also native to the region as well. And are indeed real Amazigh’s to. The Maghreb region expands from the mountains to some of the dessert. Most native Amazigh are white, but black Amazigh’s are also real Amazigh’s, albeit minority. And it looks like everyone has their own ideas of what Amazigh should be like. But the truth is Amazigh is not necessarily a specific cultural/racial/ethnic group. It’s a huge term that encompasses anyone native to the Maghreb region. And that’s that.

The Amazigh people were described as black (moor) and berber (barbarian) not because they literally all were super dark, but because they were all African so Roman's just generalized them as all black. The concept of what makes someone black ironically has nothing to do with skin tone historically and is rooted in what populations were viewed as not human. White was a term used to describe genetic purity in being human and black was used to reger to someone as an animal or not as human as white people. Arabs and europeans have historically persecuted, enslaved and colonized the Amazigh and never once considered them white or even Arab. They have always beennconsidered black or lesser regardless of the specific skin tone they have. Secondly just because some amazigj have very light skin tone doesn't make them any less or amazigh. Tribes situated in the north like the Atlas mountains naturally gained fairer skinned due to the radically different climate, but are still related and genetically identical to the southern tribes you would consider black. Exactly, I'm an Amazigh from the Chefchaouen region in Morocco originally, born and bred in the UK. I'm light skinned with mousy hair, light brown eyes and look like a typical med type bloke, like all Amazigh in the Maghreb. Did 3 DNA tests and cluster with all North African "white looking" people from Kabylia to all the way east with the christian Egyptians, who are the descendants of the ancient Egyptians. The people shown in that video are Tuaregs and other deep southern tribes of Morocco, Algeria and Lybia and also Mauritania. They are actually of Arab stock, invaders from the Hijaz who then profusely mixed with their black slaves over the centuries, the footage also shows Gnawa people, from the south of Morocco, who are plain and simple just descendants of freed subsaharan slaves (by the Arabs back then).. Even their Arabic dialect and writing is ancient "Hijazi", they are not at all the "original" people of North Africa. Calling all those people "black berbers" would be the same as calling German passport holders of east Anatolian descent (there is millions of them in Germany), "original Mongol Germans" in a few hundred years from now, same with Pakistanis living in the UK etc.. they're not from there originally. There is no "black" berbers, if they're black, "of negroid type", the genetic background is far from being even remotely Amazigh.

Sahara are berber Tamazight Tuareg . Not subsaharian origin. They're the first inhabitants of the Sahara. They are also a mixed ethnic variant with their own Berber dialects of common origin with other light-skinned Berber tribes. Their face is like the Berbers brown and white. Ancient Egyptian people portrayed them (Libyans)as being a very light skinned people who resembled the Egyptians who portrayed themselves as Darker but lighter than the Nubians. Also a lot of names are now different than what we know them to be. Because the Nubians back then we're probably the south Sudanese and Nubians were like the north sudanese and they to this day along with East Horn Africans are what Egyptians looked like. The Berber genetic marker is E-M183 which developed in Northwest Africa thousands of years ago and is a subclade of its parent haplogroup E1b1b which is said to originate in Northeast Africa prior, specifically the Horn of Africa. High frequencies were found in the Tuareg near Gorom Gorom in Burkina Faso (77.8%), and 81.8% from Gosi in Mali. The Tahala Tuareg of Libya have frequencies of 89%, the Mozabites of Algeria (86.6%) as well as the Sahrawi’s of Southern Morocco who are also relatively dark skinned including Reguibats (80%). All of these are southern Saharan populations. In northern coastal areas of Algeria and Tunisia however, the Berber marker was around 45% (Jijel, Oran, Tizi Ouzou, Algiers, Tunis, Sousse). So judging from dna IMO it becomes obvious who the original people were. I’m coming from both sides of the fence. One side of my North African family are from northern Algeria and are predominantly white/fair skinned while my other half are originally from Western Sahara and southern Morocco and are predominantly darker skinned ranging from light brown to medium brown complexion. The Sahara was once green and Africa is one land mass so what would stop Africans from further south from travelling up north? That would mean the Sahara wasn’t always a barrier and it would have been easy for people across the continent to migrate. There was a wave of Eurasians who came to North Africa and intermixed with the indigenous Black Africans thereby producing the Berbers we see today.

Ironically they don’t consider the Berbers black because they’re different than Subsaharan Africans due to different genetics. However if you do genetic testing on most African Americans; you’re going to find substantial European DNA… however our skin color is still black. So DNA testing is not going to tell you skin color.

I'm a North African Amazigh and I'm really white with light hair (don't debate me I know my whole heritage it's a tradition to keep the heritage known in the families here) and most Amazigh are olive skinned and not even brown skinned but the more you go south the darker the skin tone gets but it's mostly because of the strong sun of the Sahara deserts if they don't interact with the sun, they will get their skin lighten up more. Jewish tribes reportedly arrived in Hijaz in the wake of the Jewish-Roman wars and introduced agriculture, putting them in a culturally, economically and politically dominant position. However, in the 5th century, the Banu Aws and the Banu Khazraj, two Arab tribes that had arrived from Yemen, gained dominance. Battle of the Trench
In 622, the Islamic prophet Muhammad arrived at Yathrib from Mecca and reportedly established a pact between the conflicting parties. While the city found itself at war with Muhammad's native Meccan tribe of the Quraysh, tensions between the growing numbers of Muslims and the Jewish communities mounted.
In 627, when the Quraysh and their allies besieged the city in the Battle of the Trench, the Qurayza initially tried to remain neutral but eventually entered into negotiations with the besieging army, violating the pact they had agreed to years earlier. Subsequently, the tribe was charged with treason and besieged by the Muslims commanded by Muhammad.The Banu Qurayza eventually surrendered and their men were beheaded.
After the Meccans' withdrawal, Muhammad then led his forces against the Banu Qurayza neighborhood. According to Ibn Ishaq, he had been asked to do so by the angel Gabriel. The Banu Qurayza retreated into their stronghold and endured the siege for 25 days. As their morale waned, Ka'b ibn Asad suggested three alternative ways out of their predicament: embrace Islam; kill their own children and women, then rush out for a charge to either win or die; or make a surprise attack on the Sabbath. The Banu Qurayza accepted none of these alternatives. Instead they asked to confer with Abu Lubaba, one of their allies from the Aws. According to Ibn Ishaq, Abu Lubaba felt pity for the women and children of the tribe who were crying and when asked whether the Qurayza should surrender to Muhammad, advised them to do so. However he also "made a sign with his hand toward his throat, indicating that [their fate] at the hands of the Prophet would be slaughter". The next morning, the Banu Qurayza surrendered and the Muslims seized their stronghold and their stores. The men - Ibn Ishaq numbers between 400 and 900 - were bound and placed under the custody of one Muhammad ibn Maslamah, who had killed Ka'b ibn al-Ashraf, while the women and children - numbering about 1,000 - were placed under Abdullah ibn Sallam, a former rabbi who had converted to Islam.
According to Stillman, Muhammad chose Sa'd so as not to pronounce the judgment himself, after the precedents he had set with the Banu Qaynuqa and the Banu Nadir: "Sa`d took the hint and condemned the adult males to death and the hapless women and children to slavery."
It is also reported that one woman, who had thrown a millstone from the battlements during the siege and killed one of the Muslim besiegers, was also beheaded along with the men. Ibn Asakir writes in his History of Damascus that the Banu Kilab, a clan of Arab clients of the Banu Qurayza, were killed alongside the Jewish tribe.
Three boys of the clan of Hadl, who had been with Qurayza in the strongholds, slipped out before the surrender and converted to Islam. The son of one of them, Muhammad ibn Ka'b al-Qurazi, gained distinction as a scholar. One or two other men also escaped.
The spoils of battle, including the enslaved women and children of the tribe, were divided up among the Islamic warriors that had participated in the siege and among the emigrees from Mecca (who had hitherto depended on the help of the Muslims native to Medina.
Mohammad collected one-fifth of the booty, which was then redistributed to the Muslims in need, as was customary. As part of his share of the spoils, Muhammad selected one of the women, Rayhana, for himself and took her as part of his booty. Muhammad offered to free and marry her and according to some sources she accepted his proposal. She is said to have later become a Muslim.

The Amazigh are a huge group of several ethnic groups, all native to the Maghreb region of North Africa. And most of them are of course white. And there’s nothing wrong with this.
But what people won’t admit is that black Amazigh are also native to the region as well. And are indeed real Amazigh’s to. The Maghreb region expands from the mountains to some of the dessert.
Most native Amazigh are white, but black Amazigh’s are also real Amazigh’s, albeit minority. And it looks like everyone has their own ideas of what Amazigh should be like.
But the truth is Amazigh is not necessarily a specific cultural/racial/ethnic group. It’s a huge term that encompasses anyone native to the Maghreb region. And that’s that.

The Amazigh people were described as black (moor) and berber (barbarian) not because they literally all were super dark, but because they were all African so Roman's just generalized them as all black. White was a term used to describe genetic purity in being human and black was used to reger to someone as an animal or not as human as white people. Exactly, I'm an Amazigh from the Chefchaouen region in Morocco originally, born and bred in the UK. I'm light skinned with mousy hair, light brown eyes and look like a typical med type bloke, like all Amazigh in the Maghreb. Did 3 DNA tests and cluster with all North African "white looking" people from Kabylia to all the way east with the christian Egyptians, who are the descendants of the ancient Egyptians. The people shown in that video are Tuaregs and other deep southern tribes of Morocco, Algeria and Lybia and also Mauritania. They are actually of Arab stock, invaders from the Hijaz who then profusely mixed with their black slaves over the centuries, the footage also shows Gnawa people, from the south of Morocco, who are plain and simple just descendants of freed subsaharan slaves (by the Arabs back then).. Even their Arabic dialect and writing is ancient "Hijazi", they are not at all the "original" people of North Africa. Calling all those people "black berbers" would be the same as calling German passport holders of east Anatolian descent (there is millions of them in Germany), "original Mongol Germans" in a few hundred years from now, same with Pakistanis living in the UK etc.. they're not from there originally. There is no "black" berbers, if they're black, "of negroid type", the genetic background is far from being even remotely Amazigh.

You mix Berbers and Amazigh. The Amazigh are from a tribe located in Morocco and their origin would come from Mazigh, grandson of the prophet Noh peace on him. As for the Berbers, there are indeed blacks and whites because their origins and their DNA are different. There were black dynasties that ruled Egypt, but there were also white ones. For the most part however, Egypt has been rules by the native Egyptians, and not black Nubians. Google "Egyptian depiction of races". This is an ancient artwork that shows Libyan Amazigh (north African natives) as white. It also shows the Egyptians themselves depicted separate to black people.
This is very hard evidence that disproves both of your points.
If you want even more evidence for native white Africans, in addition to all the DNA tests and the ancient Egyptians depicting them as white, look no further than the art of the ancient Amazigh Kingdoms. Google Numidian mosaics.
But i do think that the ancient Libyans we're just a people who had both light skinned and dark populations because ancient Egyptian reliefs portrayed them as such. The Berber genetic marker is E-M183 which developed in Northwest Africa thousands of years ago and is a subclade of its parent haplogroup E1b1b which is said to originate in Northeast Africa prior, specifically the Horn of Africa. High frequencies were found in the Tuareg near Gorom Gorom in Burkina Faso (77.8%), and 81.8% from Gosi in Mali. The Tahala Tuareg of Libya have frequencies of 89%, the Mozabites of Algeria (86.6%) as well as the Sahrawi’s of Southern Morocco who are also relatively dark skinned including Reguibats (80%). All of these are southern Saharan populations. In northern coastal areas of Algeria and Tunisia however, the Berber marker was around 45% (Jijel, Oran, Tizi Ouzou, Algiers, Tunis, Sousse). So judging from dna IMO it becomes obvious who the original people were.
I’m coming from both sides of the fence. One side of my North African family are from northern Algeria and are predominantly white/fair skinned while my other half are originally from Western Sahara and southern Morocco and are predominantly darker skinned ranging from light brown to medium brown complexion. My great grandfather from that side who passed away at over 90 years old was light brown in complexion with a long and slim face like East Africans. People always thought he looked the Arabs of Yemen or the brown skinned Mauritanian Berbers. I saw a colorised picture of his father (my great great grandfather) and he looked like a typical Sahrawi with swarthy medium brown skin and broad features. And their paternal lineage is E-M183.
I would also like to add, it’s ironic that when comparing the facial features of the Tuaregs who didn’t highly mix with west African slaves as well as the Sahrawi of Morocco they look strikingly similar to Horn of Africans which is why historians referred to both groups as Hamites. Why is it only in the coastal areas of the north where all the invasions took place from the Romans to the Turks does white skin/fair skin suddenly appear, the Berber marker significantly drops in frequency and brown and black skin becomes almost non existent? Genetic studies also prove most modern day North Africans are more related to eurasians and populations outside Africa than to sub-Saharan Africans. 100% North African on a commercial dna test means nothing. If you read the North African category on 23andme it already states this group is an ancient mixture of North African, west Asian, Southern European and sub-saharan African. If you get 2% sub-Saharan or European on a commercial dna test it just means your more than average as these tests only go back 6-8 generations.

The Sahara was once green and Africa is one land mass so what would stop Africans from further south from travelling up north? That would mean the Sahara wasn’t always a barrier and it would have been easy for people across the continent to migrate. There was a wave of Eurasians who came to North Africa and intermixed with the indigenous Black Africans thereby producing the Berbers we see today.

Ironically they don’t consider the Berbers black because they’re different than Subsaharan Africans due to different genetics. However if you do genetic testing on most African Americans; you’re going to find substantial European DNA… however our skin color is still black. So DNA testing is not going to tell you skin color.
