Yeah let's change out mind about objective facts. 2 plus 2 equals 4. Let's just change out mind about anything and everything. No. Lol. Human beings require zero grams of exogenous carbohydrate. Fact. Sticking to facts. Not about minds or opinions. Facts.
You must not follow Dave. He’s been biohacking forever and is really funny, and very knowledgeable. and down to earth. He interviews all sorts of people who don’t agree. I started keto with Thomas about 7 years ago, and it worked, but I’m done with all that. I’ve learned a lot from both these gentlemen and do what works with more balance clean whole food, low carbs, high protein and healthy fats and I totally agree with the omegas….
Say what you will about Dave Asprey, but this man has single-handedly changed my life with his bulletproof coffee and mold research. I will always follow him and listen to his advice. I take bits and pieces from each and every "longevity expert" and find the consensus. Through common sense and practicality, I figure out what works for my lifestyle.
He helped me save my life with his approaches to Mast Cell activation. The "experts" all over the world I gave all my money to missed it for 25 years which significantly impacted my quality of life. We are individuals. That is why there are over 100 dietary theories. When it comes to your body, all you can do is learn, test and be able to change your methods of if they don't work, or u find something that works better. 🤷🏻♀️
His bullet proof coffee is awesome. He does have some good tips here and there but he also says a lot of false statements. I’ve taken the full personal trainer course from ISSA, and continue to studying nutrition and diet and other health and wellness material. There’s no substitute for educating yourself FIRST being a doctor or bio hacker don’t mean you’re always correct. There’s also many other notables to consider critically and yet still learn from are Menno Henselmens, Dr Lustig, Dr Berg, Dr Cassar, Bryan Johnson, Dr David Sinclair and tons of others. I don’t assume I know everything but I have a strong foundation in training diet and nutrition.. and I have the evidence based research from many credible sources. However I have enough knowledge to smell when they are straight out WRONG.. Dave Asprey said taking excessive sugar doesn’t cause diabetes. He’s totally wrong about that. Yes the body goes through a complex change of phases after sugar consumption.. but in its totality sugar WILL cause insulin resistance and diabetes this is not open to debate just like you can’t debate mathematics. 1 plus 1 is 2 ..Dave is kinda wacky at times
Thomas, your patient and somewhat reticent response to this particular guest was appropriate and necessary. Your steady manner is a sign of wisdom and does not go unnoticed.
@@johnnguyen385 if you followed Dave, he does his homework. And changes his views, when new information indicates. He is the father of biohacking. I actually quit following Thomas
I’m 60yrs and look 10yrs younger than him….I just train with weights 3 times a week and bike 4 times a week ,eat med style food and sleep well ..metabolically spot on ..had bloods done no inflammation at all ..enjoy life .
It is his deep nasolabial folds on his face that makes Dave Asprey look old. Joe Rogan also has them. They usually result from a life of sin, stress, abuse and debauchery revealed in their physiognomy.
Dave’s answer for everything: “Well where everyone is going to end up is where I’ve been for a long time.” Yes, Dave, you’re always right and if people would just listen everyone would live to 150yrs old. He says a few good things but is just so freaking smug about it that it’s hard to listen to.
@WideAwakeHuman Right!😃 But keep in mind that bc you have this (unflattering) view of Dave Aspry ' you are 'triggered' - to the point that your 'stuff' is akin to carrying a loaded gun.🤯 You obviously need therapy🤓
But, remember, since we don't like his personality we need to go the therapy. I've never seen this guy b4. Just 6 minutes in and I had to stop. But...yeah, I better go get some therapy so I can listen to the guy pontificate.
Best person to listen to about not aging is Sally Fallon Morell. She’s 75 yet looks mid fifties and she’s not using gizmos to achieve this- it’s butter, liver, fish eggs, and fatty meat plus some carbs drenched in animal fat. She is THE pioneer in the nutrition field she’s literally Josephine the Baptist! Shrieking into the wilderness when everyone was running in the other direction toward the cliff edge.
There is no one person, and it is almost irrelevant what the person looks like. When you see pics of people from the Blue Zones, they do not fit our image of youth by appearance. Even the Blue Zones is suspect as is any one person/source because they are all subject to confirmation bias.
There is no one authority who can really be used by everybody. All authorities have confirmation bias in one way or another, even if they’ve changed their minds.
I wish I had the self confidence/deception to get on film and say my body fat is 6% when it's at least double that. And talk about longevity when I look a decade older than I am.
lol we all think we look young until we discover we really don’t. Unfortunately once you hit fifty you probably actually look fifty. Not younger like we all want to.
The knowledge provided by Dave allowed me to lose fat tissue first time in my life. It was a decade ago. I was over 30 yo and saw my six pack first time in my life. A great thing about Dave is that he’s willing to change his mind. For me that’s a prof of good intentions.
@@RKO1988 No, I did not. It wasn’t popular 10 years ago where I live. I came across Dave through Joe Rogan podcast. I actually haven’t listened to Dave’s podcast for over a year, but I do respect him and the knowledge he provides helped me transform how I look.
Great conversation. I am 60 - during covid - I got in phenomenal shape. I did all of the ‘things.’ Fast forward - now- I slipped & I am a bit fluffy again. So- starting back on the journey to get in amazing shape again. But this time I want to figure out how to do it in a way where I don’t feel like I can’t get up off the couch. .. I have listened to soooooo many nutrition & bodybuilding videos. The conflicting info gets me soooo frustrated. I love that Thomas will bring all kinds of perspectives and “experts” on his channel. Even though I might not agree with Dave as prey on most things, I believe there is always something to learn from everyone . Thank you Thomas, keep up the great work
Does he mention the hyperbaric oxygen therapy he has been doing recently. It seems to be his missing ingredient, but rarely talks about it. His SECRET biohack!!!.....btw doesn't everyone realize meat eating is better morally, this is obvious.
11 месяцев назад+7
@@fondrees How is eating mest better morally? xD that makes no sense
@ because plant agriculture kills everything including all the fungus and bacteria in the soil. Forget about butterflies, bees, birds, moths, voles, squirrels etc etc. You want to be moral. Eat grass fed regenerativelty raised beef and you will eat one cow a year and regenerate soil and the water table and increase bio diversity.
@ Morality and nutrition are 2 separate topics. They don't have anything in common. Trying to conflate them is probably a non sequitur fallacy. Should a lion feel shame for eating what is required to keep him strong and healthy ? Also, vegans conveniently "forget" that plants are also living beings, and they also don't want to be eaten (hence the lectins). Morality blended with nutrition = mass manipulation .
People change their minds all the time, when we know better we do better. I admire and respect that Asprey uses himself as a human test subject on a grand scale to find what works for him. If everyone put in the effort to try different things or take a different approach there would be more open minded individuals. The world is constantly changing and we have to change along with it to grow and apapt 🕊️
All I know is being moderate has saved me truckloads of effort and obsessing. What I find is if I wait long enough ...then people come to my point of view. When everyone was on the Pritikin diet I took no notice and ate butter on my bread and yoghurt. Everyone on Pritikin looked dried-out and stressed. Macrobiotics? We'd call it Macroneurotics.. It goes on. More fanatical thinking. If you're stressed you aren't going to absorb food properly. This is basic. Best avoid processed foods, that's a given. Eat organic if you can but if you cannot, then get leafy greens that are organic, Wash your veg with detergent clean them and dry them. Plus neither of these guys mention the ubiquity of alcohol and how adverse it is on the body. It's a major carcinogen. Also many people cannot process caffeine. So just reduce your caffeine and have it in the morning. No need to be fanatical. Just watch your body and take note. IDK why everyone is crazily wearing spandex and riding bicycles to breathe in pollutants in concentrated bursts and try to wrangle the traffic. Diesel fumes in particular are carcinogenic. The bicycle crowd are particularly annoying IMO. A brisk walk each day with some uphill, relax, and do some stretches. It's easy.
First Paul Saladino switched from keto/ carnivore, then Peter Attia discusses the downsides of long term fasting, and now Dave Asprey is eating 300g of carbs per day. Just waiting for you join us on the dark side Thomas 👍
Love the..WHERE HAVE YOU CHANGED YOUR MIND series. I want to hear all sides whether I believe it or not. It opens up my mind & I like to research different ideas. Thank you Thomas.
Dave looks like a healthy 65 and he's just 50; it will be interesting to see how things turn out. I like the information, but it's boiling down to not overeating a mostly whole food animal protein based diet (1 g/lb), pulsing high intensity exercise (2 days a week, 30 min), zone 2 a few hours a week, walking the same, calisthenics, moderate sunshine, and rest. Supplement D3, K2, glycine, NAC, collagen peptides, taurine, magnesium, zinc
He is a clown. Thomas, should stop bringing "experts" like this one in his podcast. He will start loosing credibility soon. I'm on the way out if he does not stop this.
55 and still going stronger than ever, never got into longevity supplements but look at lot younger than I am, as a hunter my protein comes from venison elk buffalo turkey fish and beef I get from a local farmer, make and collect my own chaga and grow organic. Don't complicate anything with foods. Best anti aging ever is simply resistant weight training and getting your Vo2 up and what you believe you become as the mind doesn't know the difference to whats real and whats not, simply think about eating a whole lemon and your body acts as if you did and produces the same chemicals as actually eating it, So, what you think about you bring about.
13:44 Shout out to Ray Peat. RIP. He is from my town. He emailed me once and told me how to make ice cream. He used to buy the stuff but felt like it had too many suspect ingredients.
i like to as Dave why is he manufacturing Protein bars with sunflower oil ? it is very high omega 6 i notice he says Canola but not seed oils ....cash is king
I stay away from cashews due to their high mold content, but he uses them in his bars, as do other protein bar companies, yet Dave is against mold in his coffee beans. 🤷♀️
Dave is a Hypocrite to put Crap oil in his candy bars! One month ago, he had dyed hair to make his old face look younger! Dave is just another Circus Clown!
Bars would be an ultra processed food. Eat the ingredients instead: wholesome nuts, get them with the shell, manually de-shell them - you won’t eat as many as a processed bought bar has.
I'm surprised to read so many negative ageism comments 👀 Asprey looks great for his age and is sporting a leaner more defined chiseled look. He's a lean machine but healthy despite using himself as human test subject for longevity treatments for twenty years 😉 Bee 🐝 kind to yourself, kind to others and to the planet 🕊️
Thank you for your comment-I agree. People are so judgmental about Dave’s look. I think he’s looking great-new hair style makes him look younger. Some people just have a more mature look, not old looking, tho. ❤
Thank you. 0:40 Those judging Dave on his appearance while claiming, “I look younger.” 😂 (Bless your hearts-you don’t.) You don’t know what he’s working on, what he’s doing or putting himself through in his scientific pursuits. I notice no one’s challenging his devotion, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
he also had chronic ill health when young, sinus infections, obesity, fatigue ... and has found freedom from these things without cheap and nasty pharma, through his own research, life experience and passion. more people like it I reakon, let go of the calluses folks.
Neither of them are 6% body fat I guarantee you.. The old guy might be 18 or 19% maybe and I doubt that and then the other guy maybe he's 13%. What is wrong with people? Professional bodybuilders are maybe 6% at most before stepping onto a stage.. I mean, 15% body fat is extremely lean and you are showing all your Abs. below 15% you are absolutely shredded, But below 10% is extremely rare. Them saying this really does damper their credibility. If they can't even be truthful or accurate with something that simple.

Believe the difference in m-tor after working out is much more drastic than fasting and consuming caffeine and that the latter two can actually grossly hinder the first.
No way 50 yrs old, but thats what happens when you loose weight. But, he looks about 57 60yrs old, but people look older on podcast and TV bc of the hi tech
Everyone is making extremely negative comments about his aging. This should be a wake up call for people to understand that a primary cause of any premature aging is stress, trauma, and other mental health issues. Nobody ever knows anyone else's histories or private struggles. People should listen objectively, take what resonates and leave the rest.
Thomas great interview, Dave said that he had "fixed" his metabolism. Just curious, how did he do this, and how did he measure it so that he knew his metabolism was changed? How to change a metabolism back to normal would be a very interesting segment. Thanks!
Wish Dave talked about why krill oil is better than fish oil, primarily because it has astaxanthin in it, a powerful anti-oxidant. Other fish oil supplements also have astaxanthin added to inhibit oxidation. Seems this was left out of the discussion, unfortunately.
Thomas seems to disagree with many things Asprey claims but doesn’t want to offend his guest nor ruin the content for a video. Asprey is untrustworthy.
Welcome to the online world of charlatans - these people have no shame. It's like water off a duck's back and they're saying the same things some time later that they have already been corrected on
Just my opinion, but older people who lose too much body fat look older, as that is a noticeable way people age. They lose the central pad of fat in their face
I'm in my mid-fifties. A lot of it is his thin face and a shirt buttoned to the collar. But the worst is the old Pentecostal preacher glasses. Remember buying that used car from the WWII vet who sold insurance and played lots of golf?
It’s ironic that Dave Asprey is talking about pushing back on “truth telling” …Joe Rogan called out Dave Asprey for lying about having a proprietary product when in fact, there was nothing proprietary about it. Dave Asprey continues to push back without addressing the actual factual side of the conflict.
Dave got picked apart, tarred & feathered on Joe's forum to the point Joe told him to gtfo. Dave is a lot like Liver King (or I guess the other way around timewise) in that a lot of what he says and preaches is true and great stuff, but to him, HE is the brand, and most of the deception comes in protecting the brand.
Above anything nutrition-related, Dave's tolerance for differing views, his respect for speaking the truth, even if some don't like it, is so needed in today's world. Breath of fresh air!
As someone who is conscious of my diet and nutritional balance, I'm also reminded of a bit of guidance from Dr. Dean Edell, which is the title of his 1999 book, "Eat, Drink, and Be Merry". I'm not here to endorse the book; I'm endorsing Dr. Dean's principle of balanced, relaxed living. Now that I'm in my mid-sixties, I summarize this in my coaching tagline: "Tomorrow's mastery begins with mental calm today." Cheers!
He's absolutely right about Omega 3s. Excess PUFAs esp long chain fatty acids like DHA, and even EPA, is hard for the body to get rid of. It's really no different than how the body can't get rid of heavy metals. Body's recycling bin is called lysosomes. What lysosomes can't digest start accumulating in your body, and will even eventually show up on your skin, called *lipofuscin* (sometimes wrongly called liver spots). I too learned the hard way after mega dosing on DHAs
I used to want to burn everything off after I got full. Ive come to realize, shorter more intense workouts are so good and Im not starving as much and I give my body a chance to convert fppd to energy
MTOR is spiked when you intermitten fast, drink coffee and do Sports before eating; is that bad? I dont have a problem to fast until I eat something, but as soon as I eat it is difficult. So eating at 2pm and not eating is very difficult and I m to hungry to sleep. Is there anything I could do to change that. Thanks, love your videos; have been watching them vor a couple of years, allways getting some info that I try to incorporate. Translations to german are pretty lousy mostly though. Goodspeed, J

00:29 🧠 Dave Asprey emphasizes speaking the truth without softening it, even if it triggers others, as he values integrity in communication. 01:54 🌱 Focusing on gut health with probiotics like Seed can yield noticeable benefits within days, making it worth trying. 02:49 💡 Developing a "thick skin" mentality isn't about enduring negativity but rather about feeling secure and not investing time in relationships that aren't conducive to growth. 03:58 🧘♂ Being triggered indicates a lack of self-control and suggests susceptibility to external influence; Dave Asprey encourages personal responsibility and self-awareness. 06:57 🍏 Dave Asprey highlights that while fructose in moderation may not spike insulin, excessive consumption or pairing with a surplus can lead to issues, advocating for a limit of around 30 grams per day. 08:48 🍰 Dave Asprey suggests that omega-6 fats, rather than sugar, may be more problematic due to their impact on mitochondrial efficiency and inflammation. 14:21 🔬 Dave Asprey warns against excessive consumption of Omega-3s, suggesting that phosphorilated Omega-3s or sn2 fish oil may be safer alternatives. 18:15 🍽 Dave Asprey, a longevity enthusiast, advocates for maintaining moderate protein intake for longevity, emphasizing the importance of amino acid balance. 20:29 🥤 Insulin plays a significant role in muscle growth after lifting weights, highlighting the importance of timing nutrients and stressors for optimal results. 21:37 🏋♂ "MTOR stacking" involves suppressing MTOR through fasting and coffee consumption before weightlifting, followed by consuming protein and carbs to maximize muscle growth. 28:30 🍖 Animal protein intake, supplemented with collagen or glycine, is crucial for preserving muscle mass and brain health, as plant-based proteins may not provide adequate nutrition. 30:34 💪 Emphasizing "slope of the curve biology," Dave suggests that quickly turning on and off stressors, coupled with adequate nutrition, can lead to more effective adaptations, challenging the notion of spending hours in the gym for optimal results. 36:21 🩸 Lowering your heart rate quickly after intense exercise can aid in faster adaptation, suggesting the importance of rapid recovery strategies. 37:05 🛌 Implementing recovery methods such as deep breathing, visualization, red light therapy, and cryotherapy can expedite the return to baseline, facilitating the body's adaptation process. 37:48 💪 Prioritizing efficient recovery becomes crucial, especially when facing intense training regimens, to prevent overloading the body with excessive stressors.
If you haven't done a video on the spongy calcium laden tissue orange peels, and it's correlations with spongy tissue in bones, please consider it. The fact that it aids the exchange of gases during photosynthesis makes me think of cell respiration during vitamin D synthesis, among other things.
A little confused here. A lot of people are touting black seed oil for many health issues, yet black seed oil is high in omega 6s. Not sure if he would not recommend any black seed oil or whether it depends on the ratio of omega 6 and omega 3 oils
I felt that too as I was watching it. I like Dave Asprey a lot and I think he is a genius, but as he said, he took 5 trips that week and he obviously needed some downtime and he should have postponed this interview. He was pushing himself and really didn't want to be there (on this day). Needs to be honest with himself. He was "off" and I am left feeling his exhaustion just watching him push himself to the next sentence. I need a nap!!!
QUESTION : if we raise our OWN fish in our own pond, can we avoid getting microplastics & heavy metals in our pond-raised fish and still get enough of our Omega 3 fats that we need??? Also do Catfish and Bass have enough Omega 3 fats? We just moved out to a rural area and we have a pond. now, so we’re planning to get fish soon.
Not if the pond was built on or around previously farmed land that was farmed conventionally. And the fish you mentioned, will not have high amounts of the right fats. You find these fats in fish that are fatty and live in cold water

Dr. Rhonda Patrick advocates for people to take adequate Omega 3, which is a very reasonable and science-based stance. I’ve never heard her saying someone should take a high dose like Dave mentioned.
Paul Mason does an excellent and nuanced discussion of seed oils and Omega 3/Omega 6 effects on the body. An example of the best way to achieve the optimal amounts and ratio of these, is that eating meat from pastured ruminant animals will yield the perfect amounts in both regards. Pork and chicken and the meat of mono-gastric animals that are pastured is superior to that of grain/soy fed animals, but it is still going to be higher than from ruminant animals. Nature always knew best!

Bravo bravo bravo Dave for discovering methionine and its link to cancer growth!! Yes! The other thing to know about cancer is antioxidants! Antioxidants protect cancer. So while antioxidants are good before cancer they are not good when you have cancer because before cancer antioxidants are protective of healthy cells but once cancer starts and because cancer cells are rapidly dividing cells they grab up all the antioxidants to protect themselves. The cancer needs them more than healthy cells because of how rapidly they are dividing and creating oxidative stress and free radicals
@@geraldfriend256 well you are incorrect. It is a scientifically proven fact. You obviously are just pulling that comment out of your Ass hahaha. @@guflportgyrl I’m not sure which topic you are referring since you didn’t clarify but if you’re wanting to learn more about methionine and its link to cancer go to Pubmed. Type in “ Methionine and cancer”. If you’re referring to antioxidants do the same thing. Although antioxidants are a little more tricky so you have to search properly for the correct topic. Reason being is that antioxidants are healthy and needed prior to having cancer but once you have cancer you need to stop because they protect cancer once it starts. Try typing “ glutathione and cancer”. Again, it’s very critical to understand with each conversation or article that you read whether the topic is antioxidants before cancer or after. Absolutely vital distinction
"My life is richer because I have friends with radically different views than I do." I'm trying to imagine a vegan saying this and it's just not working out for me.
I'm anti-vegan as I don't see it as an optimal natural healthy diet (without supplements) but Dave's anti-vegan comments in this video are not supported by evidence. The reality is there are vegan centenarians and they don't look much older than Dave. Dave doesn't look like he'll get close to centenarian longevity. So as much as I'm not interested in giving up meat, every time someone comes out and makes anti vegan comments similar to those Dave made in this video it harms their credibility because they are ignoring the evidence. You can't go around making expert claims regarding longevity and say vegan is not the way or vegan is nutritionally deficient for the purpose of longevity when vegans are living past 100 years old and when it's clear you're not going to live as long as those vegans.
exactly...the actual whole food plant based guys are in their 80s and 90s and look amazing like Dr Esselstyn. Clearly the glow and look amazing. I can honestly say through years of training for marathons when off season and stimulating less fat goes up slightly. When training hard restarts then I get ripped and can run further for longer without getting injured or tired. Nothing replaces hard work. 15 minutes won’t do anything for you long term no matter how hard you run for 15.
True, people have tried to cheat their way out of hard work (sports, study) for ever - only to find out that it doesn't work. Laziness is called today "biohacking". What will they think of next?

I did up my deadlift to 420lbs no belt. And my workout out sets are 3 plates on each side now of 8 reps. 3 minutes rest. So, for me it's not showing off. I have depression so I punish myself with heavy weights because my mental pain is worse. My form is strict on the leg press and I keep my butt down. The bicep things I took it as a joke because Thomas is a body builder but everyone reflects there own issues!

Love the “where have you changed your mind” series. Great idea and love seeing people willing the be open minded on these subjects. Thank you Thomas!
This is important!
Yeah let's change out mind about objective facts. 2 plus 2 equals 4. Let's just change out mind about anything and everything. No. Lol. Human beings require zero grams of exogenous carbohydrate. Fact. Sticking to facts. Not about minds or opinions. Facts.
Dave Asprey loves him some Dave Asprey
Yes he does! That's why it's hard to listen to him. He does have a lot of great info though but presentation needs work. He's an OG though.
lol lo-ve
I sure you love yourself ! lol
Same!!

Fewer creatures die than with growing crops.@
People change their minds all the time, when we know better we do better. I admire and respect that Asprey uses himself as a human test subject on a grand scale to find what works for him.

@@lilianlilian9461 my mum is 93 and no surgery, makeup, cream or anything ever, and her skin looks younger than most 50 year olds, including me. I think it's her lack of doing anything that has kept it young ironically.
@@anneb5603 how wonderful✨. your mum is very blessed.
I only wash my face once a week, preferring a gentle wipe and then application of argon oil every night rather than harsh wash. I dream of faring as well as your mum.
@@lilianlilian9461 I expect you will with your routine. Argon oil is very good. I drink lots of water and eat well. I haven't many wrinkles yet but I still get teenage spots at 55! So annoying lol!
You lost yer hair and are over weight ? , you really think you should be casting that stone ? 😂
Dr. Rhonda Patrick advocates for people to take adequate Omega 3, which is a very reasonable and science-based stance. I’ve never heard her saying someone should take a high dose like Dave mentioned.
Very high dosage of Omega 3 causes heart palpitations. My trigger is around 6 grams per day. I take Omegs 3 but not every day and in smaller amounts
She does advocate for a few grams a day. 3 part discussion on this channel ruclips.net/video/EcPByrCwDXQ/видео.html
She has said that she takes 4-6 grams, which is on the high end, but she acknowledges that.
Excellent interview!
How do you measure omega 3's in your body? Blood test ? which one? I had a panel a couple of year ago and said omega 3's were high.
Dave has had a hair transplant, several square inches of skin removed, and hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of stem cells injected yet he looks 10 years older than his chronological age.
Agree and Thomas looks ridiculous with his Botoxed face like Chaffee now.
@@catsrus2890 Has he stated he's had botox?
@@stevetb7777 So sorry, I'm tired. That whole paragraph was about Chaffee, but it's the same with Thomas. He looks completely different now compared to his old videos. The extremely stretched skin where he can't even move his face.
Well my whole paragraph about Chaffee was deleted but he's definitely Botoxing, both of them. Check out Chaffee's live from last night he looks awful, very unhealthy. Neither one of them are going to say it. Chaffey is desperately trying to hide how bad he looks. I was just shocked when I saw Thomas because he's 10 years younger than Chaffee and doing it. I'm not the only one saying it about Chaffee. The women are noticing it first, then the men when I point it out. His whole image is a total facade.
Good for him! I think he looks just like any other 50yr old within a range.
Ok this one was hard to watch. This guy was all over the place. I understand why rogan was all over this guy
Too many can possibly cause cancer as well . Not a proven fact tho.
@@geraldfriend256 well you are incorrect. It is a scientifically proven fact. You obviously are just pulling that comment out of your Ass hahaha. Just kidding around but honestly just google it or go to Pubmed and do a search for cvMethionine and its connection to cancer. It’s very well documented. There’s more than 2,000 papers on it.
Sugar FEEDS CANCER tho.Theyve proven that.
Where can I find the studies proving this please?
Great interview! Dave looks better than I've seen him in recent sightings. Please have him on again for a bazillion more topics!
what a great perspective on people and life, so lacking in our society today and reason for many of out ills....
"My life is richer because I have friends with radically different views than I do."
I'm trying to imagine a vegan saying this and it's just not working out for me.
Asprey shouldn’t have a public platform.
exactly...the actual whole food plant based guys are in their 80s and 90s and look amazing like Dr Esselstyn. Clearly the glow and look amazing. I am 56, 35 years eating high carb low fat vegan...it's the way to have fun and look great. And to have a high vibe. Too much control also is very bad for health.
What will they think of next?
right, just take another pill with killer side effects like they sell on TV now and the bill boards all over the place, they even advertise, meds for dogs and cats now, unbelievable! Fat happy people singing about a pill for type 2 diabetes on commercials now...OMG what has happened to society! Eat a another McD's cheese burger, that's okay, we have a pill for you!
Dave strikes me as someone with mental health issues
100 percent. Insecurity masquerading as arrogance. At first I was put off, but started to feel sorry for him.
Him and everyone else, it's called being human😊
Amazing content! Thanks 😊
Thomas, you're a great host and very good at this format! Addicted to these podcasts. Well done!
Thank goodness I watched the video to the end. I'm in my 60s and when I do the leg press i push 19 45lb plates 5 to 6 reps with strict form.
After each set, i just sit for 3 minutes because Im beat. I look at my watch for my heart beat and it goes down pretty quick to tier one.
I always thought staying in tier two was better but im glad to know that my body is adapting fast and that it is a good thing.
Just to think that 7 months ago, I couldn't walk a block without stopping to take a breath makes me happy. Especially because I'm homeless and not all my meals are great.
Working out one day at a time. ✌️😊
Good for you, good luck!
@@WhatsNextAmy thanks😊. Have a great weekend and workout.
@AtoZandba 😆😆😆 I just got back from the gym and I decided to do lighter weights because I'm old. Everyone tells me to go easier because I don't use a belt. So I worked out with 320lbs sets of 4. Did 3 sets of then went to 340lbs. My max this year in squats is 380lbs but I'm getting older. I normally do 400lbs once a year.
I only started heavy weights at 58 years old. So I'm late to the game.
I do 30 minutes of yoga so my ankles and hips are pretty flexible.
I think it's rude to put people down when you don't know me and my workouts. But you do you.
Oh, but I do appreciate your opinion. Even though it was wrong. That's the great thing about our country.
Be blessed. ✌️😊
@@leodegas7731where do you lift?
@@leodegas7731Dear Leo congrats on your progress! Neither is 6% body fat levels…
i thought the same
Absolutely. More like 12%
Why don’t you believe Thomas? The dude stays shredded year round.
he is def not 6%. I used to compete and go onstage at 6%. and he is def NOT that lol
Wow, I was wondering when, if and/or you would ever have Dave on the show ! Every time I mention someone , they're on the show next week (ha ha ;). So when will Dr. Mercola be on ?
I love Dr Mercola! Well, I used to...he has come up with some weird ways recently.
@@guflportgyrl all these guys are kinda weird, but I still prefer them to normal people.
I don’t think Dave is the epitome of health but he is reaching the epitome of honesty.
And ignorance.
I am puzzled about the glasses I get it about the glasses blocking blue light but not ALL the time. Maybe this was was filmed in the evening.
That’s what I assumed.
The yellow ones are for daytime, indoor junk light and staring at screens. They have red ones for night time.
Been listening to Dave Asprey for years…It’s great that he’s changed his mind and why wouldn’t he? He’s given back far more than he’s ever tried to take when it comes to information and genuine help. Two of my fav guys chatting! ❤❤❤
Dave is kinda like the Alex J0nes of diet. A lot of what he says is true and ahead of the curve, but a lot of what he says is wrong.
You can skip the first 6 minutes ( 6:01 ) they're talking about not caring what other people think 🙄
First time I saw his ad about not aging I had to look up his age and was shocked to learn he was only 50, shocking for a health expert. I’m always taken for someone 20 years younger than my age, which I blow off until I saw a doctor for blood work after 20 years and she was shocked at my age and good health and I don’t lecture on staying young.
