i had a cyan one tyat got ran over by a car and still worked afterwards, but then could not use because it would not fit into its own dock, then i got the purple one, and the nice thing about the purple one is that it is the only ipod shuffle colour that didnt have an ipod nano equivalent, as opposed to the cyan, mint green and burgundy product red
