Shit I was in 5th grade in 2011-12 playing temple run on my 2nd gen iPod touch(because I couldn’t afford a 4th gen)
I bought one just to play Temple Run and some other games. Cut the Rope works! Oh yeah, and RUclips still works on Safari.

This was my first iOS device. I remember how excited I was when I first got it. Cracked it a few months later, but I was 15, so what do you expect 😂… That retina display was the best display I had ever seen at the time! Looked amazing.

Personally, the biggest problem with iOS 7 and 8 are the lock screen. Unlocking an iPhone in iOS 6 and previous was the best feeling ever.

My first apple product is iPad 2 and now iPad Mini
God, this brought back so many memories. I can remember playing Minecraft Pocket Edition on my 4th gen iPod touch with all of my friends as well as playing Angry Birds on long car trips and watching tons of RUclips videos that, going back to today, reek of nostalgia. The 4th gen was my second apple product (my first one was the 3rd gen iPod, the one without the camera) and I still have both to this day. I actually ended up jailbreaking the, a few years ago and now they're just kind of sitting in one of my drawers. Definitely going back to them after watching this video

All these years later and I'm so glad I still have mine, I got the black one. I remember saving and saving until I had enough to buy it, started saving when the ipod 2g came out and by the time I had enough, the 4g was out. Of course I had to buy the newer one with the camera on it! I'm so glad I still have mine, turned it on recently and it's still on ios 4 with the OG youtube app and a bunch of my old games.

I remember i bought one back in 2012. I didn't have enough money to buy myself an iphone 4s and this was my first ios device. I remember being so impressed of the Premium feel and quality. Even compared to some high-end android phones i own nowadays, this little device still feels more premium.

With this product, Apple actually helped create its future customer base. and she succeeded. I was in love with this iPod and spent all my money on this product. I still use my Apple ID that I opened that year. and I used ipod, iphone 4 iphone 5, iphone 5s 16gb-32gb, iphone Xr, iphone 14 pro max, macbook air 2012-2023 respectively. And it all started with just this iPod! That's incredible!

This was my very first Apple device and I still have it. Bought it after Christmas 2011 in 32GB and I was so hyped!
Still works absolutely fine.
I used it so much, playing classic games like Doodle Jump, Fruit Ninja, Angry Birds etc!
The battery isn't as good anymore so I only keep it in my collection now.

iOS 5 & 6 where the best in my opinion. iOS 7/8 is too graphical, it basically kills older devices such as the 2010 - 2012 era of iOS devices.

Just finished watching and it seems ages since those devices were released and were the most awesome cutting edge technology, and look at us now.
Who would have thought back then that five years later the iPod Classic would be dead, and the whole iPod family would have been only a loving memory?
The reason why I'm buying a brand new iPod touch 4g and not the iPod touch 6g.. I love iOS 5and 6. I don't rly care about the screen size, 3.5 is perfect + it's just a beautiful product

i have an ipod touch 4g black that i got for christmas in 2011 or 2010 i think...i dont really like that you cant update it to the iOS 7 and idk ii dont rly like the black colour or the back of the iPod. but i might get the iPod 5g soon :)

i remember scratching the apple logo with my finger and for some reason the apple logo on the ipod makes a funny felling in your finger, causing me to drop it and it smashed XD

This is so nostalgic, I got a black 32 gig iPod touch 4g in the summer of 2012. I remember being so excited because up until then I had been using an 80 gig 7th generation iPod classic. I still have the iPod touch, but unfortunately my iPod classic was stolen in 2013.
I've had mine for four years now. definitely a great product from Apple.
Just ordered a used iPod touch 4th gen from eBay for $20 for nostalgic purposes. Low key excited to go back in time.
I have one just that this one, it's an 16GB, I got this at a $55 bucks, & I'd have to say this is still one of the best devices ever created 😄
